Chapter 3: Animatronic showcase.
Third Person View:
The pizzeria was closed early, and since there was still time until Jack came back for his nightshift. The animatronics decided to go off and do there own things until it was 12AM, when the nightshift actually begins.
Ruby's POV:
The people were leaving since the pizzeria is closing down early, I went off to go search for Wesker, and see if he was doing anything. Wesker was adjusting his mic stand for tomorrow, I went up to him and said, "Hey Wesker, how are you doing?"
"Not bad, the performance we did was great Ruby, we should start practicing for our next one since we have the time." Said Wesker.
"Not now I want to see how everyone is doing since you know, I'm the leader of the group. And a leader's duty is to watch out for the others."
"Wow, Ruby I can't believe you said something so leaderlike." Said Wesker faking shock.
"Oh hush it you!"
"I'm just kidding, but when your done we should start going over some stuff." Said Wesker.
"Ok!" I said as I Begin to walk away, and go to the others. 'hmm, which one should I go to first' I thought as I was just walking around aimlessly. 'Maybe I should go to Pearl's stage since she has it all to herself unlike Mia, and Claude. Yeah that sounds like a good idea.' I made up my mind and went off to Pearl's stage. As I walked to Pearl stage, I noticed that she was currently deactivated. I decided to activate Pearl, and a few seconds later she was on.
"hmm, what is it Ruby?" Said Pearl.
Ruby looks at the Green Parrot animatronic, and said "Well you have the stage to yourself and I wanted to check up on you now, as the leader of course"
"How thoughtful of you Ruby, but no need to concern yourself with me. I'm doing fine there were more people then there was then now." Stated Pearl calmly.
"Oh ok, well I still had to check up on you, anyways it was nice talking to you Pearl. But I shall be on my way to Claude and Mia." I say waving my hand.
'Lets see how those two are doing, I hope Claude isn't being mean to Mia.' I thought while walking to Mia and Claude area. Making my way there I see both Mia and Claude arguing with each other for something that I have no idea what it is about. "Why are you guys fighting?" I asked confusedly.
"Claude saying that he didn't steal my cheese but I know it was him, he's the only one that is here." She said pointing at Claude.
"And like I said for the tenth time, I did not steal your cheese, you must've misplaced it somewhere and forgot where you put it at." Said Claude Looking annoyed
"Cheese, I'm pretty sure I saw a kid take some cheese before the pizzeria close down Mia, it may have something to do with your missing cheese case." I said looking away knowing what's about to happen next.
"You saw what!!! Why didn't you tell me, I would still had my cheese at this moment if you told me sooner." Said Mia angerly.
"Well... Me and Wesker were performing on stage, and I couldn't just stop midway to go tell a child to return back your cheese, I'm sorry." I said with my head down.
"Oh no, its ok I didn't mean to get so mad at you ruby. Its not your fault that the cheese was stolen, if I just putted in a better spot out of a kids reach I would still have it. So don't feel so down." She said reassuringly.
"Well with that settle, what brings you here Ruby?" Said Claude.
"Oh you know, being the leader that I am, I came to check up on you and see if you guys are doing ok" I say Proudly.
"Oh I see oh 'Leader' were doing fine thanks for asking, but do you got anywhere you need to at right now. I swear I heard Wesker calling for you to hurry up." Claude said mockingly, while Mia started Snickering.
I gasped "Your right I got to start planning with Wesker for tomorrow, It was nice having the chat and good to know your doing ok." I waved off and proceed to pick up my pace towards our area.
"There you are Ruby, you took your time huh?" Said Wesker as I was approaching him.
"Sorry, I'll try to get it done faster, but right now we should try to get stuff done for tomorrow." I said
Third Person View:
After Wesker and Ruby were done practicing there performances and getting stuff prepared for tomorrow, it was time for them to power off for the night (11AM) and be done.
Elsewhere:
Jack got up and put on his nightguard outfit and proceeded to get into his car to drive to work. He was a little more prepared about what's going to happen now and thinks he can take on the challenger way more easily. But little does he know things are not going to go according to plan.
Jack POV:
I was on my way to the pizzeria, when I got a called from the person who called me on my first night. I picked up the phone and answered. "Hello?"
"Hey Jack your on your way to the pizzeria right, well if you are then, be careful how you used the power today its dying a little faster. Anyways if your power does run out its best to leave the office and find a new place to hide in for a while, just makes sure you listen carefully for noises and you don't just pump into one of the animatronics. That's all I have to say for now, I'll call you later when you get to your office." The Caller said.
"I see, and yes I'm on my way to the pizzeria, thanks for the info, and I'll keep that in mind when I get there." I say and proceed to hang up. I'm at the pizzeria and start making my way to the office. Once I get there, I here the clock ringing, signaling that it was 12 AM.
Author notes: oh man sorry for not posting, I should be able to have chapters ready more frequently, now that I got a good pace.
