The next morning Roy was leaving the Ministry with a hit wizards badge after filling out some forms. His uncle just gave him the badge without any test, he knew that Crouch gave him the authority under the table.

Once with a badge in hand, Roy activated VANS and followed the trail for his first targets. Apparating to Nocturne Alley, He found a group of death eaters out of their costumes celebrating in a bar.

Using his awareness perk, he was able to ascertain that there were five of them and all of them were marked their theaters.

Roy remembered from all the paperwork he filled out, that anyone with a Death Eater mark had a bounty of 500 gallons dead or alive.

As the five death eaters were sitting down and drinking about their previous raid. Then they suddenly heard the snap of someone's fingers.

The next thing they saw was an explosion that blasted the top of their bodies. Scorching the top of the table black, along with their heads and torsos.

Taking out one of the three Goblin silver daggers he found in the Room of Hidden Things. He held the dagger with his left hand while holding his wand with his right.

Casting the sonorous charm, he got everyone's attention as he spoke out loud.

"Everyone keep calm! My name is Roy Mustang, and I'm a hit wizard. I'm here to capture these 5 for their bounties. So everyone just keep calm, and we'll get this over with as soon as I capture my marks."

Everyone in the bar looked shady as hell, so Roy started walking slowly toward his marks. Then suddenly, two Wizards launched spells at him.

"Intabeviscus!"

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Protego!"

Roy cast the shield charm in response to the Organ-Liquefying curse and banished the scorched table in the way of the killing curse.

"Stupefy!"

"Stupefy!"

Before The Wizard that attacked him responded, he cast two stunning spells, knocking them out of the fight.

"If anybody else tries something again, I will use lethal force this time."

Roy put away the five courses and the two stunned Wizards, inside an extended bag he bought in Diagon Alley. 

In the next couple of minutes, Roy was back at the DMLE in Bartemius Crouch's Senior office. He then unloaded the 7 bodies at the side of Crouch's desk, making him sigh.

"Roy, it hasn't been more than an hour since I gave you your badge and you're already causing problems."

"Check their arms for the Dark Mark."

Barty gave a look to his two guards.

"Listen to the lad and inspect their arms."

After they checked their arms they reported back.

"Director Crouch, we found the Dark Mark on the five burned corpses. The two stunned don't possess the Dark Mark."

Listening to the report Barty looked at Roy.

"So, why the two extras, Roy?"

"Dumb asses! Attacked me with the killing curse and the Organ-Liquefying curse, give me a second and I'll give you the memory."

Using his wand he pulled a silvery thread from his head and put it into a vial.

"Here take the memory, you just need a Pensieve."

"None need Roy. But I will go over it later on. The two of you take those two criminals and put them into Azkaban, with a life sentence each."

Leaving the Ministry, Roy hoped that his encounters with Death Eaters wouldn't be the end of his hunt.

Activating VANS, he noticed that he received multiple trails to his target quest. As Roy went hunting for the Death Eaters, he encountered a group of 16 of the Dark Lord's followers. 

Using his Awareness perk, Roy discovered that only two of them were Death Eaters. The rest were just fresh new recruits, that the Death Eaters were taking into their first raid. 

Sufficient to say. That raid never happened. Because the Dark Lord's followers ran into a couple of explosions on their way there.

Roy only killed the two Death Eaters in the group. The rest, he stripped naked of everything they had and stored them away in his expanded bag.

In one of his raids that day, he tracked down another group of the Dark Lord's followers. He ran into the order of the Phoenix.

Since Dumbledore and his vigilante group kept stunning their enemies, and the Death Eaters kept getting up by the other members.

"All of you Dumbledore followers, if you don't want to die don't move!"

With a snap of his fingers, Roy did the next best thing for the order of the Phoenix. He Ignited the whole area on fire, leaving only a few pockets of open space.

Where every member of the Order of the Phoenix stood still. As the flames subsided, they saw that all the Dark Lord's followers turned into ashes. As it does the women struck the burned bodies, their ashes scattered into the air, dissipating.

"Roy Mustang, you're a damn monster! You didn't have to kill them, we had them on the ropes."

Roy was confronted by James Potter, accusing him of not sparing the Dark Lord's followers.

"You have no right to be here! We should arrest him!"

He was then backed up by his butt buddy Sirius Black. Who it appeared to be reasonable to him, to put all the blame on him for the deaths of the Dark Lord's followers.

'I guess my other self did die and I'm fully Colonel Roy Mustang now. Well, I at least kept all his story knowledge.'

"I'm sorry, but I'm here in official Hit wizard work. What are all of you doing here?"

Roy took a look around the location and spotted some familiar faces from school. James Potter, Lily Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Pettigrew, The Longbottom couple, Arthur Weasley, Moody, and the big man himself, Dumbledore.

"Mustang my boy, I think you can keep the events of what happened today a secret, my boy."

He'd feel bad about tattle-telling on the Order of the Phoenix. But then again, Sirius Black wanted to arrest him, on the charges of killing mass murderers.

Just for that, he's going to let Pettigrew use him as a scapegoat.

"I'm sorry, professor, but, Womp Womp!"

In a flash of fire, Roy Flame apparated out of the area and into the Ministry.

Escaping the Order of the Phoenix, Roy informed Director Crouch of Dumbledore's vigilante group, by giving him his memory vial.

"So, let me get this straight Roy. You ran into Dumbledore's vigilante group and over two dozen Death Eaters, and you burned the entire area. Avoiding burning Dumbledore's group."

Whistle!

"Are you sure you don't want to become an Auror? In less than two days, you've dealt a bigger blow to Voldemort. Then we've been able to do in the past years." 

"Nah! Uncle. The Ministry is infested with Death Eaters and sympathizers, then white on rice."

Bartemius Crouch Senior tilted his head down and took a long sigh.

"Nephew if I could, I'd feed everyone in the Ministry veritaserum, interrogate them, and have each of them sign an unbreakable contract, to have everyone loyal to the Ministry."

Resting in his room on the Leaky Cauldron, Roy received a system alert.
