Ever since getting my ass handed to me by Magneto and how easily Archie took him down I have been feeling… inadequate… weak… useless.

I mean sure, I can take on a small army of mobsters, and deal with most superhumans one way or the other, but what Archie did with Magneto?

That was some next level shit.

I felt like an insect, there was nothing I could have done to save myself if Archie hadn't shown up, and when he did, I was completely useless…

I need something, something that can help me take on, or at least injure guys on Archie's level…

Alright think… in Marvel the overpowered weapons that can be compared to a Power Ring are Quantum Bands and Nega Bands, I doubt I could ever get either of them nor anything of similar power level without having to fight an army, so I need a way to strengthen my existing powers…

If I had a few Adamantium laced bones, I could probably taken down Colossus far easier, and it would make me a threat against even Hulk Level opponents.

"Wait are you telling me, after feeling bad about how you couldn't help with Magneto, Master of Magnetism, you decided it would be a good idea to lace your bones with metal?" Archie ask me with wide eyes

"Yes…" I tell him with a straight face,

"Alright, continue,"

-- Flashback, Continue --

After coming to the genius decision of getting Adamantium Bones, I quickly realized I had no clue how I could find adamantium, let alone lace my bones with them.

So I decided to ask the most knowledgeable person I know…

-- Archie's Room --

I silently went into Archie's room.

It was late at night, he was fast asleep.

He was a deep sleeper, anything short of a major earthquake and he wouldn't wake up, and luckily Rogue wasn't with him.

"Ring, is there any place I can lace my bones with Proto Adamantium?"

<<Negative>> she replied back and I sighed in disappointment

Proto-Adamantium was arguably THE most powerful metal in the comics, it is the metal Captain America's shield is made up of.

"Is there any place I can lace my bones with True Adamantium?"

<<Affirmative, there are 3 known locations within driving distance from here>>

"Which one is the least guarded?"

<<A Weapon X facility in…>>

-- Flashback, Stop --

"You went into my room?" Archie asks me and I nod my head in response "In the middle of the night?" I nod again "Don't do it again, it's kinda creepy"

"... Yeah it is kinda creepy, sorry, it won't happen again" I told him and he nodded for me to continue

-- Flashback, Continue, Little Over 3 Hours Later in the Flashback --

I drove my Sky-Cycle, a flying cycle that can go over 400 mph that I had stolen from an illegal arms dealer, for 3 hours and arrived at the Weapon X facility.

I smelled the air, there were twenty three people in there, two of them were metahumans. Most of them carried guns, if that gunpowder smell was any indication.

I sneaked into the facility through the air ducts,

Dropped the normal humans one by one, PS4 Spider-Man / Arkham Knight style

I either knocked them out with bone projectiles, or physically with chops to the back of their heads.

By the time they had noticed something was going on I had knocked out almost all normal humans, and only 5 people were left, the two metas, two soldiers and one scientist.

The meta who had two soldiers with her came to the room with the other meta and the scientist, and to my utter surprise the other meta was a little child, who couldn't be older than 11.

-- Flashback, Stop --

Arcie stopped my story when he muttered "That's a good idea,"

"What is?" I ask him

"Calling mutants metahuman, or something else, I mean referring them- us as mutant, the thing that reminds people of cancer and zombies, can't be good for publicity, we should try to turn the mutant-word into the next N-Word"

"Can't be that hard, Karen's in our world tried to turn the word 'Karen', into the next n-word and somehow got some support," I said and he nodded before saying

"So the girl outside is X-23 right? Laura Kinney?"

"How the fuck did you know that?"

"You found a little girl in a Weapon X facility if that doesn't scream X-23, I don't know what does,"

"Fine yeah, let me just finish the story,"

-- Flashback, Continue --

I saw Laura, she was slightly scared by the woman in front of her,

To my utter surprise the woman (metahuman) shot the scientist with a gun,

Laura stayed still for a moment before attacking the woman in front of her, but she got shot as well, I couldn't stand still at seeing a little girl get shot so I shot two bone-stun bullets at the soldiers and rushed at the woman, I tried to impale her with a bone sword but to my utter surprise the bone sword that was able to pierce through steel, shattered.

"So it was you, mutie," the woman said as she tried to shoot me, but I impaled the gun before she could, she then punch me in the face, I was stumbled a several steps, and actually came near the woman who was shot, contrary to what I thought, she was still alive

She managed to mumble- beg "Please… Save her, save Laura... my daughter..."

I knew exactly what she meant, and I just nodded, I may not have came here to save a little girl, but I would be damned if I let her stay in a place like this for a moment more, (AN: He wouldn't go out of his way to find people like them to help them, but he would save a child if he stumbled upon it)

I turn to the metahuman woman "Give up, mutie, I Am Invincible," she said and that reminded me of my favourite Worm moment

"Yeah, so was Alexandria," I said before dashing at her in blinding speeds, I caught her face wit my palm and filled her insides to brim with bones, she couldn't breath, I could feel her internal organs get punctured and she died from internal bleeding/suffocation within moments.

I then turned towards Laura, she was healed from the gunshot, kneeling next to the dying woman, she said something in Spanish, I didn't quite understand it, my spanish was at "dónde está la biblioteca" level.

Laura then moved up and walked next to me, she didn't show any emotions on her face, except one drop of tear on her cheek.

"... Let's bury your mother first," I told her and she nodded. After that I created a bone shovel and dug a hole outside. We laid the scientist, marked it with a cross…

This all happened in complete silence, I then told Laura "Wait here for a few minutes, I have to take care of something inside," I told her and she nodded

I went inside and grabbed every single soldiers and scientist I had knocked out and brought them to the lab area of the facility. I woke up three of them with the simple method of slapping them awake alongside shouting "Wake Up!"

"Good, now tell me how I can lace this bone with Adamantium," I told them, holding a bone knife next to his face.

"Go to hell mutie," one of them said. I was in no mood so I put a bone through his nose and expanded it until his brains splattered to his friends, "AHH!!!" they scream,

"Unless either of you tells me what I want, you are next,"

"Fine! This job is not worth dying for," one of them said but the other tried to stop him

"Shut up Karl, don't tell this mutie-" I didn't let him, and shot him in the head with a bone bullet

"Now, you were saying?" I ask him with a smile…

-- Flashback, End --

"And then what happened?" Archie asked and I smiled,

"I killed everyone in the facility after I got… these," I told him as I showed him my six True Adamantium clad bones, two from each arm, and one from each foot. I wanted them to be similar to Laura's, but I could change their locations freely.

"Dude… That's a lot to process, but I guess I'm sorry is in order for shouting at you,"

"Don't mention it, if I had seen you in the kitchen, loosely covered in blood, next to a child I would be confused/angry too."

He smiled for a brief moment before frowning "I get everything, except… Why didn't you ask me to come with you, I mean, I could have-" he started to say but I cut him off,

"I needed to do this by myself," I said before he could finish his sentence,

"For what it's worth man, good job. Taking down Weapon X facility, that easily at that, is impressive. And now that you have Adamantium Bones I have no doubt you can beat the crap out of Abomination,"

"Heh, thanks,"

"Although you should still keep the Pager with you, in case Magneto shows up again…"

"Yeah, I know," I said with a small smile,

"But that still leaves us with one big question," Archie said as he put a hand to his chin, "What are we going to do with Laura? I guess we could contact Wolverine-"

I do not know why but something in me snapped for a second, I glared at Archie and tried to impose my 6'5 (1.95 meters) figure on him. Tried being the key word.

He didn't seemed to be scared or surprised by it, he just sighed before saying "*sigh* Dude I get you formed an attachment to Laura, she seems like the cute little sister type that even I would like to protect, but Wolverine is her father-" he started to say but I didn't allowed him and cut him off

"First of all, Wolverine is more along the lines of a sperm donor. He may have been her father, but he isn't her daddy," he rolled his eyes at my Mary Poppins reference "Secondly, Wolverine is canonically a terrible father, his children either end up crazy, dead, or both, look at Daken, Raze, and most famously The Mongrels who Wolverine murdered himself." he was about to comment, probably to tell me Wolverine did not know they were his children at the time but I didn't let him, "And last but not least, Wolverine is an attack dog of Charles Xavier, aka the Professor, aka the Third Hokage of Mutants." I knew I had him this time, he hated Sarutobi Hiruzen, and the similarities between Xavier and the old Hokage is too great for Archie to ignore.

"Fine, you are right, we shouldn't tell Wolverine about her, at least not yet, but then what should we do? Because quite frankly, I am not sure I am capable of raising a child, let alone a child with that many issues." he said, I glared at him for a second, he sighed once more before coming up with a good plan, like he always does. First he says the problems and why we should stay away from it, and then comes up with a plan. it was his semi annoying process.

"Alright, the best thing we can do now is …"
