ಒಬ್ಬ ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಳಕಳಿಯ ಭಾವವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ . ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಸಿರಿ ಮೊಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣು ಎಂದು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕು.ಅವಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವರು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸಾಧಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು. ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿ ಸುಖವಾಗಿರಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾದ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಯಬೇಕೆಂಬುವುದೇ ಪೋಷಕರ ಆಸೆ. ಮೌಢ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಿ, ಸತ್ಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಲಿಸಬೇಕು,ಗುರುಗಳು ಸಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಭೋದಿಸದೆ,ಮತ್ತಿತ್ತರ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭೋದಿಸುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
