Li Ming Hao

"This is Li Ming Hao. He is our Dean Li's son. He has just arrived from abroad and will be studying in your class. Dean Li has ordered to show him the dungeon…," the Dean's assistant, Wang Qi, was explaining Su Xin Yu what her next assignment as Student Council President was. She rolled her eyes to herself. She was supposed to show this new guy the dungeons beneath the school?

The guy before her was a handsome lad. Clothed in a casual t-shirt and shorts, he had a muscular build. His exercise regime showed through his body. All the features on his face came together beautifully, as if the Creator took his sweet time to carve this sculpture. His deep black phoenix shaped eyes and the air of confidence about him really gave away his rich young master identity.

Unfortunately, his beauty was such a waste because one could see that he behaved like a lecher. He had a very pretty chick clinging onto him, her big boobs touching the guy's arm. God, can these girls stop trying to gain favor of rich people around? Wasn't this the girl Ye Mingming, the top beauty of second year of archeology department? So, basically, she was their classmate but in a different department.

If this guy had just arrived from abroad, how did she get into contact with him so soon, enough to stick to him like glue? It was as if they could just start doing lewd acts right here. Su Xin Yu was cringing so hard right now that her fingers were curling up. She rolled her eyes again and took orders from Wang Qi. Her eyes were spasming from rolling them so much.

"You also need to explain him the history and everything. Although he is the Dean's son, do tell him what you know because you're an expert on this topic and that's the only reason you are here," Wang Qi explained to her thoroughly and gave her an arrogant triumphant look.

Yeah, yeah. She got it. This land and the whole forest belonged to her tribe, at one point in history that is. Her ancestors had donated portion of the land to build a castle for an exiled prince who happened to be very kind and hardworking. He had built a whole prosperous kingdom around this land, bringing glory to himself and the tribesmen.

Unfortunately, his few subjects, who had joined him later, became greedy, betrayed and killed the prince and took over this land. They were cruel people who looted nearby kingdoms and destroyed the cities.

This land happened to be the perfect hiding place because there was a natural network of tunnels in the nearby mountains which ran beneath this area. Those guys hid everything there. Moreover, this land had been used as a burying place for previous prosperous dynasties at one time. So, the tunnels already had quite some riches lying inside.

They also employed her tribe's ancestors themselves to build traps in those tunnels and refine the dungeons to make them sturdier. If in their hands, they would have killed her tribesmen, but they needed their help to unlock the secrets to the traps.

Natural disasters and other circumstances including weak and lazy rulers later helped her tribesmen to seize their land back. The kingdom around had already fallen in peril because of constant war.

After that, her tribesmen did not progress much technologically because they were an isolated tribe. They wanted to preserve their culture and not introduce any change. They still believed that their Gods would help them survive.

People changed, nations changed, democracy came and the land fell into hands of a private entity – the Li family. Apparently, the Li family had vast riches due to their expertise in archeology. They had made quite a name in this industry. They had worked as private and public consultants to people interested in exploring the ancient ruins.

They had come to know about the history of this place and wanted to get the treasure beneath the lands. They had gotten an agreement with the government to split the wealth in half. The question was, was this whole plot just a myth, or did the treasure actually exist? Because no one had discovered it till now.

Countless technologies were used by the owners to locate that abundant wealth but in vain, sonar, lidar, you name it. It was as if the land was protecting the treasure by some magic.

Interestingly, not everyone knew the traps triggers and the location of the treasure. The knowledge got lost with each passing generation.

Her father happened to be one of the most trustworthy people to tribe elders. So, they had decided to pass down their leftover knowledge to her father. He was an extraordinarily intelligent man, so he had figured out quite some secrets on his own. Later, he was tortured and thrown into the dungeon by the current owners because he refused to reveal the secrets of the traps of her tribe.
