Helios Academy

The main castle was turned into a school and college with boarding facilities afterwards to get funds from the government for their discovery efforts and hide the actual work going on. This place was a well-known tourist spot and countless number of explorers had tried to look for the treasures here.

Thus, even if they had wanted to do some illegal mining of treasures, it would be in front of the whole world. Plus, any riches that came out of it would belong to government despite this being a private property. Li's did not want that, thus they formed the partnership with the government of N country.

To show to the world that they honored their traditions, the government decided to name it after Helios, the Greek Titan God of Sun to keep it modern as well as connect it with nature. Thus, Helios Academy was born.

This academy offered school starting from high school and then college. In college, they only offered majors that had to do anything remote with dungeon exploring – archeology, geology, courses in surveying etc.

Su Xin Yu's tribe was declining since the youth started leaving the land for more knowledge and riches. Now, only a few people were remaining. They had retreated deep into the forests to hide themselves from these cruel people.

She was also one of the people interested in learning the modern tech. But the Dean of the school had decided to raise her in hopes that her blood would help him to find the treasure. Thus, he made her homeschool till middle school under his tutelage and then join this school forcefully when she came of age. Now she was studying geology in the college.

Her another purpose was to explore the dungeons to get a hint on her dad. Over the years she had made much progress but it was all a secret. The figures and maps of dungeons she had given to the Dean were not even one fourth what she actually knew.

The Dean did not have any choice but to believe her. He had tried sending his own men but only one person ever got out, it was Wang Qi. He was also at the death's door and Su Xin Yu was forced by the Dean to help him out. She had been gone for days before she emerged out with a bloody Wang Qi.

But then Dean Li was also the one who was providing for her since she was seven years old. Day in, day out, living in this cage like building, her only solace, only way to get out were her dungeons. And the forest. She was using her explorations to run away from her day to day stress of facing Dean Li.

She would disappear for days and that's when Dean Li would know that she was going to bring good news. Of course, she would not tell him where she was going. So she could freely explore new places but only tell Dean Li about a few of the old ones she had already discovered.

Now that old man had sent his son to take out the information from her? Was he suspecting her or something?

"Has young master gone through the rituals?" she asked Wang Qi coldly.

"What rituals? He is coming from abroad. Do you think he believes in such stuff? Nothing is going to happen," Wang Qi scolded her like she was talking some non-sense.

"You should respect the customs of our tribe. These dungeons are sacred to us. Can't you guys follow even one thing? If he gets injured in there, do not blame me, okay?" she had enough of all this. They wanted the treasures but could not even follow certain rules. Wang Qi and his group had done the same but he still did not learn after losing his whole group.

Her tribe was old school, they had always worshipped their land and other natural resources.

Moreover, the dungeons were not only used to store treasures, it contained souls of countless slaves who died by the hands of the cruel owners. Either they got exhausted due to inhumane amount of work or as a punishment, they were thrown there without food or water. These souls needed to be placated before any new person entered the dungeons. It also worked against the unknown people there buried from the previous unknown dynasties.

There was a ritual in their tribe, anyone who entered the dungeons had to go through one. It was nothing but bowing down to all directions and drinking a special wine that was made by fruits of trees found only in this region in the country.

If they could not follow this much, did they even have a right to come to her for help?

"Hmph! Don't be so arrogant just because you know something about them. If he doesn't want to go through the ritual, he won't go. His dad still gave him the permission, so you just need to follow the orders," Wang Qi turned around and left the scene.

How infuriating that he had to listen to a mere chick. Who was she to ask about Dean Li and his son's matter? Over the years Wang Qi had completely forgotten how she had saved his life. He was delusional for quite a few months after he had been saved from the dungeons.

"If he gets injured, it's not my responsibility. I warned you beforehand," she yelled at the walking assistant from behind. The guy brushed her warning and left without even turning around.

Ohho, this Wang Qi is too arrogant. What do you think, was ihs delusional state all those years ago a farce? Or does he know something? Would he become a main character later?
