A Little More About Your Character & Species

Starlord: Starlord.

Y/n: My ass. Anyway, what have I been telling you since camp. I'm not even half human, I just happened to look like a human.

Gamora: So what are you?

Y/n: Well... I think I'm like... ninety percent Dragonoid and ten percent human.

Gamora: How did that happen?

Starlord: (Chuckles)

Y/n: It started with my great great grandmother. She was married to a dragonoid, as expected, but... she also had a... promiscuous life. And apparently, one of those men who happened to be a human got her pregnant and she didn't even know she was pregnant until she gave birth during a dinner party.

Starlord: I think I get why she slept with a human. (Pretends to cough) It's no big secret why.

Y/n: Oh yeah, the baby ended up looking more human than anything else and when my great great grandfather saw the baby, he obviously knew it wasn't his. And so, he tried to get rid of it. But after the first failed attempt to kill the baby, my great great grandmother fought him above the old battlegrounds just over a river of fire. She won by pushing him into the river of fire where he burned to death. Ever since then, the next generation that that baby had was also born to resemble a human then what a regular dragonoid should look like. The scientists or whatever then captured a few humans to extract their blood and DNA in order for the other betrothed party could become more human. Generations later, I was born. And apparently, I look more human than any of my relatives and even my parents. They still have a few on their physical dragon traits while I technically still do and have the ability to turn into a dragon, I just have complete control of whenever I want it to happen.

Starlord: And that's why, you'll let me ride your back for when you turn into a dragon.

(Working on a bomb nearby and doesn't look up) Rocket: Why?

Starlord: Because how fucking cool would it be to ride a dragon while kicking ass? It's whole new game changer, and we'll win so many battles that won't take us more than an hour to do.

Y/n: So yeah, there's my family's backstory.

Of course, you're not going to tell anyone that you're a princess that ran away from home because you didn't want to force into a marriage. Peter knows about you and has been doing a good job keeping his mouth shut about it.

Also, more importantly, it seems like ever since Rocket saved you from possibly getting auctioned off. It seems like he's been ignoring you and trying to avoid you and you don't know why.
