A stone and a Town

A few days later, on the way back to the village, the hunting team decided to take a break and assess the day.

What this team didn't know was that a unique creature was following them from a distance. It was Rock, who, while scouting the surroundings near the cave, had spotted the group.

Rock moved stealthily close to the ground, hiding among the ferns and shadows of the forest to remain unnoticed.

As Rock made their way back to their cave, they observed the young girl performing gestures and incantations, and were amazed by the results: spears emerging from the ground and a fireball exploding on impact, effortlessly burning the monsters.

With each action, Rock could see that the same energy that resided within them manifested in the girl's body in the form of a core, and with each attack, a portion of that energy dissipated.

Observing this scene repeat several times, Rock concluded that this force adhered to certain rules, although it remained a theory yet to be fully developed in their mind.

For now, the only thing they knew was that language played a crucial role in unraveling this mystery.

Lost in thought, the group arrived at the village. Witnessing this, Rock paused and began to observe the surroundings, discovering new wonders through their eyes.

After a few minutes of watching their creatures move and gather around shifting, glowing colors, a series of notifications appeared.

The <Magic Sensing> and <Magic Absorption> skills leveled up to 2.

Following this notification, Rock's "vision" sharpened, and their range expanded.

As intended by the system, a level increase brought numerous advantages.
