Trap and death

At night the heroes and villains prepared to attack the assassins, but none of the assassins appeared, Dragon found the silence strange.

"Did you post the video I made, were they supposed to arrive 20 minutes ago?" asked Dragon.

"It's posted, I don't think they will show up" said the hero beside him.

The assassin hearing that started laughing, the heroes and villains looked at him and Dragon furiously punched him in the face. Suddenly smoke bombs are launched towards the building where they were, Dragon looks outside and realizes that there is one of the killers flying outside, Liz realizes that the killer who killed her mother was outside the building sitting on a chair, she runs towards him furiously wanting to kill him along with 2 other villains. When she arrived at the entrance of the building, she realized that there was no one else on the street, she goes outside and is attacked by a needle causing her to fall to the ground without being able to move, the other 2 villains saw this and tried to help, but they are also hit and fall to the ground.

"Liz and 2 other villains are down," Ben said over the communicator.

"Some heroes have fallen, there are some dead near the central building" said a hero via communicator.

"They are not falling into the traps, the traps are not being activated" said another hero.

"What's going on, has someone betrayed us?" asked Dragon.

"Let's fight first, questions later" said the hero on Dragon's side.

The assassins attacked and released their colleague quickly, however Dragon had a backup plan, when one of the assassins got close to Gray he exploded killing him and the other assassin. Dragon laughing took his daughter and some other villains to flee, some heroes carried their wounded friends and also fled leaving the assassins who were furious behind.

Meanwhile at Zoe's house, everyone was having dinner when they received the news that the union of heroes and villains against the assassins failed, some heroes and villains died.

"Star turns on the television and puts it on the news channel," said Heart.

"You're closer, call yourself," Star said.

"Let me call," Snow said, turning on the television.

After seeing the news, Snow was relieved not to have participated in this plan, she was left talking when Snow's cell phone started to ring.

"Hello, who is it?" asked Snow.

"Hi, this is Positive Girl, as you may know the killers managed to escape, I want to ask you to extend our training please" said Positive Girl.

"Do you want to train longer or do you want more days to train?" Snow asked confused.

"I want to train longer and for more days, I know I may be asking too much, but I want to get stronger to protect my friends and my team," said Positive Girl.

"Okay, I'm going to talk this over with everyone first and if everyone agrees I'll extend the training time," Snow said.

"Thank you" said Positive Girl hanging up her cell phone.

Snow called Rox to ask for a 2 week leave of absence from the hero school, as the situation was serious Rox agreed, after which Snow went to sleep. Later that night the house alarm starts ringing, Snow and everyone in the house went to see what was going on, everyone was surprised by Liz attacking the barrier wildly. Snow went to her, freezing Liz's hands, but even so Liz attacked the barrier, Snow tries to talk to her but she doesn't respond, Star runs furiously and punches Liz in the face leaving her unconscious. Joe puts a fireproof straitjacket on Liz, Snow and Star take Liz into the house and put it on the couch.

"Hello ?" asked Liz waking up confused.

"Why are you attacking us?" asked Star.

"I couldn't, I couldn't, I couldn't," Liz said wildly, crying and trying to break free with her fire powers.

"Liz calm down," Snow said worriedly.

Liz was out of control, everyone in the house was worried about Liz's mental state, Snow thought about calling the police, but she stops and feels sorry for her old friend.

"Star, I know you hate Liz, but given her condition I think I'd better try to help her," said Heart.

"I'm not a monster, of course I'm not going to turn my back on her in this state, let's help her and then I'll turn her over to the police" said Star.

"I'm going back to sleep, good night," Joe said.

"Liz, Liz" said Snow.

"Let me handle it," Star said.

Star slaps Liz in the face, Liz is startled and looks at her.

"Done," said Star.

"Star" said Heart laughing.

"Star" said Liz trying to get up.

"What is she trying to do?" asked Snow.

Liz stands up, all three Zoe look at her and Liz jumps towards Star apologizing to her.

"Forgive me, I don't want to lose you, forgive me" Liz said.

Everyone was confused by Liz, Liz changed her attitude and tried to kiss Star, Star who was not understanding anything pushes Liz to the couch. Liz doesn't give up and tries again to go after Star, but is stopped by Snow, Liz starts crying and asking for her mother, Star seeing Liz's madness approaches and tries to calm her down. Liz calms down and starts sleeping next to Star, Snow tries to search the internet for a psychiatrist in town to help her and says he will take Liz to her tomorrow, Star knew Snow was going to ask her to go along so she says she will too. Heart wonders that Liz's father wasn't with her, Heart goes to the computer to research the events to find out what Liz must have been through, but Snow reminded everyone to go upstairs to sleep that there was class tomorrow, Star put Liz on the couch and went up to sleep.

In the morning, everyone woke up, the 3 Zoe went downstairs to have breakfast and to know if Liz was ok, when they arrived in the kitchen they saw that LIz was awake and still, when Star came down Liz got excited and tried to go after her.

"What could have happened?" Susan asked Joe.

"I think Liz has lost her mind, it happens often with some villains" replied Joe sipping coffee.

"Mom, Joe you could take care of her until we get back from school, when we get back we'll take her to see a psychiatrist" Snow said.

"With which money?" asked Joe.

"With my teacher's salary at the school of heroes," Snow replied.

"I didn't know they paid, when is the salary, can I become a teacher too?" asked Joe.

"Sorry, only for superheroes" Snow replied with a laugh.
