The boy with bronze colored skin was laid out on the floor, the other who had been tripped was still recovering, and the last two boys were staring daggers in North's new location.

North had tumbled backwards after nearly receiving a kick to his face, which he had luckily blocked with his arms. However, his lip was now busted, and he felt a pain in his abdomen. North had only felt the adrenaline-like rush he'd been experiencing this fight when he'd been running from the demon.

In the past it had given him a tailwind, allowing him to run faster than he ever had in the past, yet this time instead it had given him bursts of strength and sturdiness he otherwise expected to have.

His opponents had noticed since the beginning the boy's use of vitality techniques, yet they had no idea how he managed to use them despite the school's barrier. Only when they attempted to do it themselves, did they realize that for some reason, in their current location they were capable of using spells.

Cruel smirks crossed the face of the two remaining boys, their hands now weaving different symbols using hand signs. North immediately noticed the weaving, remembering his mother killing a demon using the seemingly simple gestures, so he rushed forward to not give them any time.

North's body moved like a blur, yet because of it he felt like he had used nearly all his stamina. Now that he was in between both boys however, he simply back handed both with his fists as hard as he possibly could.

When the boys were sent flying into the walls, North's jaw dropped. He felt their heads nearly burst like watermelons, and if it wasn't for the school's wards which protected against death, they would have surely popped with their lack of protection.

North immediately fainted on the spot after assessing he was safe. The expenditure of his own body's energy and another which he never used in the past had made him severely exhausted. In the beginning of the fight it had felt like using a muscle he never had, but slowly he was crudely able to use it in bursts.

"This year will be interesting... From the looks of it, the child was able to learn how to use Arcane Techniques by himself. Didn't you say that he self-animated as well, Headmaster?" From a distance, North's future make-up professor was assessing his fight. Reizayah simply nodded in response, she was too shocked to give a proper response.

"It seems we have someone whom surpasses me in terms of talent. He'll be the strongest warlock in the future... If he manages to live that is, his talent for attracting trouble will get in his way more than once." The man said, he had black hair with red eyes that matched North's. The man wore a black suit which resembled the uniform of the academy, yet tailored to his personal theme.

The man's sharp eyes gave him a serious expression which would have made any lady's knees buckle. His youth and serious gaze gave him such a powerful charming look that even Reizayah had almost forgotten how she had taught the man before her all she knew in the past.

Almost.

Reizayah cleared her throat awkwardly brushing her hair away, "Are you willing to teach him then Superior Mage Nova?"

"C'mon headmaster, can we drop the formalities, I've known you all my life. To answer your question though, yes but I won't be lenient, I want to see how much I can push him." Nova looked at her with a curious gaze though, yet Reizayah was holding her sanity together with but a string, the line between status was the only thing keeping her from acting on impulse.

There was very little Reizayah couldn't get, she herself was one of the most beautiful women among normal humans. That, with the addition of being one of the most politically involved warlocks, made her have an extremely strong influence.

She could hardly recognize the brat she once taught, and after he had left her when their apprenticeship finished, Reizayah had hardly seen him. She shook her head, which confused Nova, and then she looked back at the surveillance mirror floating near her desk.

Reizayah had sent some staff to bring the children that fought to the clinic using her Call Ring. "I have to go see your future student, want to meet him?" Nova quickly nodded, unsure as to his previous mentor's weird attitude, but he learned not to mind it.

Nova had always found it weird how awkwardly she acted around him in the recent times he has visited her, yet he never said anything. The poor man hadn't understood his own charms. Ever since he'd been a kid he was always considered the ugly duckling. So now that his charm has bloomed, he fails to notice the impact he makes on others.

Additionally, with rarely leaving his labs, he really didn't notice woman swooning in the corner of his vision. So he carried on innocently, more intrigued about his future student.

Reizayah opened a warp to the clinic where North now was recovering. He had long awakened and kept a vigilant sight on his surroundings, worried he might be ganged up on while in recovery. When he saw the warp appear near his bed, he got to his feet and took a stance.

His arms and legs ached, yet he needed to appear ready. When he noticed the headmaster walking through the portal, his relief didn't sate, but at least he knew he wasn't in for a physical beating. North gently got back on the bed, awaiting what he expected to be a bunch of nagging.

Yet, when not only the headmaster, but one of the most charming men followed her, his guard had been raised once more, wearing a skeptical gaze.

The headmaster had been impressed by the young child's reaction time, but she was also scared as to how such a young child could develop such reaction time, and what had led him to develop it.
