Opportunity to Change Life

In Amden's presence, Lucas was extremely alert. He was constantly running his mind to think of a way to at least save his sister from whatever fate awaited him.

Amden was a bit emotional seeing Lucas protect his sister.He finally said, "Don't worry, Lucas. I am here not to harm you. Even when you are just an ordinary person, your strength is quite amazing. But it is sad that this single pill won't save your sister's life."

Hearing this, Lucas's face paled. Although he knew that this pill was not enough, hearing it again made him frightened.

Amden proclaimed, "Come work for me. I will give you the opportunity to change your life. I will give the method to gain strength. And I will cure your sister."

Lucas asked, "Will you take care of my sister?"

Amden smiled and said, "No. I will only cure her. Like you, I will also give her the method to get strong. In this world, only strong people have rights, so don't think someone else can take care of you."

Lucas face stiffened, but then he felt the pull of his sister and turned, "Brother, I also want to be strong. I don't want to be a burden to you.Lucas had his doubts about Amden. He knew there was no free lunch, and in such a condition, a person helping him raised his caution.

He was to say something when his sister spoke: "Brother, I feel he is honest and is not deceiving us. We should trust him."

Luna knew how much of a burden she was on Lucas. She couldn't even move. But now she had an opportunity she didn't want to miss. Although her mind was also doubtful, she had a feeling that their lives were about to be changed.

Lucas finally replied, "If you really cure my sister, I will work for you and do anything you say."

Then his face became stern and he continued, "But if you harm my sister, then even if I lose my life, I will get revenge."

Amden just nodded and said, "Take anything that is important to you. We will leave now."

Lucas circled around and took out a family photo with a couple and two babies. Probably a picture of their parents was the only valuable thing in their position.

With Lucas supporting Luna, all four of them exited the rundown house.

As soon as they walked out of the house, they were greeted with a small commotion, as a few had gathered at the front of the house. Among the group, Amden recognized the three people whom Lucas had beaten earlier.

One person among them who was also their leader was a F-rank awakened. He remarked, eyeing Lucas, "You have quite the guts, boy. And also, it seems you have quite a few rich friends."His eyes also roamed around Cilia's body with lust.

Amden didn't even react or flinch upon hearing all this. He continued walking at his casual pace. Being blatantly ignored, and that too in front of his subordinates, the leader felt annoyed and moved to strike Amden. He raised his fist and tried to punch Amden in the gut.Amden remained as expressionless as he was, and before the punch could even reach him, he caught the man by his throat. He casually lifted him and threw him on his side like a sack.

In between all this, Amden's foot never halted for once, nor did he speak any words. Even after throwing the leader, he continued to walk at his own pace.

The whole group of men were frightened, and they hastily retreated and ran.Amden and his group continued, and soon they arrived near the car.Seeing the car, Lucas and Luna were stunned.They couldn't believe that they were going to sit in this luxury car.

Seeing their expression, Amden chuckled and said, "You can have them as many as you want."

They sat and departed. In the car at first, Lucas and Luna were stiff. They thought that they were probably dirtying the car. Although Amden noticed this, he didn't speak. He knew they would require some time to get used to new things. After a few minutes, both of them calmed down, and Luna started to enjoy the beautiful view.

Soon, they reached the villa complex. Both Dramon and Clara were at the manor. Amden introduced the twins to them and told them about their stories.

Clara then lovingly looked at Luna and said, "Such a cute child. Don't worry, now everything will be fine."

Even Dramon kept smiling and nodding. Seeing their behavior, Lucas also relaxed. He now felt more secure.

Dramon said, "Amden, we should send Luna to the hospital. Her treatment should not be delayed anymore."

To this, Amden replied, "She doesn't need hospital or medical pills. They won't heal her. In reality, she has a very special condition."
