Sale! Sale! Sale!

He definitely had some personality problems! Also, what was the intentional acting cool? Do you think that's impressive? I definitely didn't think he was cool! Definitely! Not even a little!

I looked towards the group of teenagers along with me. The loli named Princess Arelia was angrily looking at the cheerful boy named Leonard. And Averon, the maturest boy among them just stood there quietly. The healer was currently... erm... slapping the beast tamer awake!

What a weird bunch.

"I told you to shut up! You kept talking! Why did you make him angry? What if he hates me now?" The bossy loli Arelia tearfully said.

"But he just keeps acting cool! He just left all those people back there to die!" Leonard argued back.

"Die? They can all die as long as He is alive! I can't believe he was with us all along and we didn't know it! How could you be so dumb?"Arelia shouted back.

So basically, she was a fangirl! How scary! I just silently pretended to not exist and waited. Even though I agree with Leonard, I also understand that it is not like he has the duty to save everyone. It was already big hearted of him to save us. No one can complain to be alive for a little longer.

Soon, the skirmish was resolved by the screaming awake young rookie beast tamer.

"AHhhh!!!! NO! I don't wanna die!" The beast tamer screamed in a high pitched voice.

"Shut Up! and listen!" The loli said angrily.

"OHH... Where is this?? HUH... The academy? We're already here?" The beast tamer finally came to himself.

"You're totally useless! I am going to lodge a complaint against you! In a life-threatening situation, the first thing you did was faint! What if Dragon was not this intelligent, but a useless fool like you?" Arelia argued angrily.

The rookie fell onto his knees with a thud immediately and started pleading sincerely.

"Please! Don't do that! They would cancel my rookie licence, I was going to go pro soon! Please don't do this!"

What was wrong with these people? After getting out of a life and death situation the first thing they do was either fangirl or get on each other's throat.

"Umm... guys. Let's forget about him and think about getting into the academy. I am sure! everyone's pretty tired and wants to rest soon" I tried to interject.

Both of them turned towards me and looked blankly in my direction. Arelia too angrily stomped away and went in the direction of the academy gates. Sighing her companion followed her followed by me.

So they chose to just outright ignore my very existence huh?

From the corner of my eyes, I could see the poor beast tamer hugging his giant manta ray and wailing like a baby. Life must be hard for him too... I thought to myself.

The academy looked like a magnificent castle from some fairy tale. With beautiful flowers, birds and butterflies frolicking about in front of the gates. If I didn't see the board 'Academy of the undead' written boldly over the gates, I would have thought it was some princesses castle or some other academy where they taught beautiful things, instead of a bunch of dead people learning together to be less dead.

Another interesting thing that caught my attention was the variety of students in the academy. The mummies and the living people were friends. And the number of living people were more in number than the undead. Maybe it's because it's only the entrance? Inside would be different?

I walked through the majestic gates only to find more meadows, gardens and even happily hopping bunnies. It was like a mystical palace. Vibrant and full of life! The only thing out of place were those zombies happily chasing them with a grim face. And yea they were slow! and also they were rotting.

When I first heard from that cake loving Director that I will have to go to some academy for the undead, I imagined it to be some grim place. A dark castle enshrouded in mist with skeletons decorated everywhere.

I followed the teen elves group and saw from the corner of my 'eyes' that the beast tamer was also secretly following us. What does he want now?

As soon as we entered the building, we were greeted by colourful paintings of various kinds. Some mummies and zombies along with living people standing in a line..... A class photo maybe?

I also discovered a few other groups of undead and teenagers moving in a similar direction. I figured something is happening over there?

I quietly followed them along with my travel mates. Some kind of orientation ceremony? More like an introduction or guide I guess.

There was a woman with pale skin, red hair and a few patches of green spots here and there standing in the middle of the spacious hall giving some instructions to everyone.

"Please submit your application and fees to the office on the right... and if you have a recommendation letter please let me know. I will personally lead you for further works." The bright undead announced in a cheerful voice. Death does not have to be gloomy I guess.

I pondered what my next steps should be. Recommendation letter? I guess I do have one of them given to me by that old man. I waited until the crowd was a little less dense and moved towards the undead girl who was announced earlier.

"Hello..." I hesitantly said expecting her to be surprised at a voice coming out of nowhere.

"Oh...Hello! how may I help you?" The girl replied in a cheerful voice. To my surprise, she could see me too. I also noticed a green glow in her eyes. I had seen a similar glow in Ruby's eyes too...

I continued the conversation a little hesitantly, "I have a recommendation letter... from the... err... Main Office"

"Which one was it again?' I thought to myself.

"Oh!" She seemed surprised. "I see. You can come back to me after you get yourself a body. Spectres are not allowed to roam around freely." The girl politely informed me.

"Body? Where will I find a body? It wouldn't be just lying around somewhere." I protested even though I wasn't already feeling confident about all this affair.

"That's Easy!" She exclaimed pointing towards a certain direction, "There's a shop there."

"A shop!" I looked towards the direction with my eyes widened. Did she say I can find a body in a shop?

There was indeed a shop. The shop entrance had a board saying 'The Body Store' and "Sale! Sale! Sale!' written on a banner. There were many crystal coffins displayed in front of the glass with beautifully dressed immaculate looking bodies inside them. Like mannequins in a clothing shop. It made me feel really really uncomfortable just looking at it.

I guess you can buy everything in the Middle realm.
