Oops

After a good night's sleep we head off down river. By the time it was midmorning we reached the clearing. The clearing was actually quite large it even continued on the other side of the river I can even see a very rudimentary bridge connecting both sides. The clearing on both sides of the river had a large amount of apes as well.

This is definitely the perfect spot for a settlement so I just walked on in. The apes were understandably upset screaming and rawring at us but I just ignored them I went to the dead center of the clearing and then I pulled out and used the Territory challenge scroll and it morphed into a massive flag in my hand. I brought the flag up then plunged it into the ground the moment the flag touched the ground there was complete silence not a single ape said anything in fact they were backing up.

Then I hear a rawr and see a blurr of motion on the other side of the river then the creature jumped the river and landed a few feet in front of me then he stood to his full height. I'm used to looking up to people but right now my neck is killin me I mean his crotch is at my eye level and I can't see his head from were I am but I checked his status all the same.

I look at the status screen numbly as I think we'll I don't know what I was thinking but I want a pass please. Sigh. I really don't know what to do now this creature is more than I thought it would be and the stupid thing is he's scratching his cheek like he's laughing at me well to be honest I'd laugh at me too.

I look at the impossible and think I ight as well return to my roots. So I grab my Warhammer take a swing and like in my runt days said.

"Cross your legs and smile."

And let her rip my swing had after images and as it connected I heard a smash then 2 loud crunches. Then silence. Bear and Bandit are crossing their legs and whining for about half a minute that's all you can hear. Then the creature crosses his legs and grabs his crotch as blood is gushing down like a waterfal and gives out this horrible screech.

His head is now my level so I think I'll finish this before I start feeling any worse than I already do so I send another swing at his head and it explodes. Well... at least he's dead now however I back away from his corpse. But then the flag lights up and a beam of light shoots into the sky then the light expands and as it continues to expand the apes start running in the opposite direction. The light stops after the entire middle of the forest is covered then just stays there then another light shoots out of the flag at me and covers me in white light.

As the flag disappears I look in the distance and notice that the glow from the flag remains. So I turn to the others and when I do both Bear and Bandit take a step back and well I don't blame them hell I feel bad about what happened to. I mean what can I say I blanked out I literally moved on instinct I think the plan was to smack him then run but seriously this bloodlines strength is nuts it let me jump realms.

After I calmed the guys down I had them make camp and looked at my status screen really quick.

About an hour later we have our campsite set and we are making lunch. The boys however are keeping a distance between us and really I can't blame them I'm still having trouble with that scene. I head over to the river to wash my face when I hear a booming noise coming from the south I look over and there is smoke rising in the distance then another boom as well as rawring and screeching noises coming from a distance. I get closer to get a better look when booming noises start up all over the forest and from the sounds of things everything is going nuts. I head back to the camp but already see Bear and Bandit standing with weapons drawn.

After a few minutes Brea comes running out of the souther woods. She stops in front of us and starts explaining what she saw. Apparently from what I can figure with Brea's info the monster King that I killed was actually the ruler of the entire forest and when he was killed the monster kings in other areas lost there biggest backer so now other race monsters are now fighting the current rulers of each area for control of that part of the forest and at this moment all I can think is.

"Oops."

Far to the north of the forest on a mountain overlooking the northern half of the forest 2 dwarves are drinking and watching the fun.

"Alright Brutus I bet 50 thousand on the panther."

"Alright my money's on that chimera."

As they watch and laugh at the monsters tearing each other apart a communication comes through.

"Hmm looks like the king wants in on this action most likely to make some agreements with the winners."

"Well good we've been watching this forest for over 500 years and this is the first time this has happened the King would be stupid not to take this chance."

"Ya oh by the way the 567th legion will be doing the dead."

"Isn't that princess Rubella's legion?"

"The same and this will be her first battle so."

"Well I wish her luck but only an idiot would screw this chance up."

"Ya well don't let her catch you saying that or you'll be on her short list."

As the 2 dwarves continue to drink and watch the forest continues in its development.

I've literally lost interest in the current events of this place God what a fucking mess. It really can't get worse right????

Oh ya famous last words. Of course it can get worse. I'll just wait here and hope things cool down. However a massive explosion has branches and earth raining down. Tira and Tiara put barriers around themselves as well as Bear and Bandit. Brea goes into the shadows to escape the rain and no one saves me from getting rained on by flying dirt and branches well I don't blame them I wouldn't save me ither.

Ouch that kinda hurt looks like a relatively large rock wasn't pulverized before liftoff and here's me just looking into the distance wishing this will end soon.
