Chapter Five : The Boy and The Lady.

<p>"Task!" Said Rai with a surprise tone. Although he knew that the System would release tasks but that depended on his luck but now getting a task on just first day was still pleasing moment.<br/><br/>"System what is the task though", questioned Rai.<br/><br/>{Congratulations to host for getting a random task}<br/>[Task details]<br/>[Task: recruit a student]<br/>[Time limit : 3 days ]<br/>[Task reward : A random Pokemon crystal]<br/>[Failure Punishment: Get bald for a year]<br/><br/>"Doesn't seem that hard " sighed in relief, Rai looked at the detail. Although college was C level, it was still a big milestone for common people to get admitted into it. <br/><br/>Because most of time common people rarely had any shining gem a genius within them. Although it was said that current champion of Sorok where Rai was present was still a commoner, it was still a fact that common people were at disadvantages. <br/><br/>They lacked resources to cultivate Beastmaster after all it takes alot to cultivate just a single beast. But since the day current champion took the seat, most of the monopoly of big families were reduced. Commoners got the chance to rise , but it also created a friction between Champion and Big families. <br/><br/>"All things aside , system what is with that punishment" Questioned Rai while expecting a decent answer from System.<br/><br/>{Host has nothing else to lose anyway what you have is given by system. How can i be cruel to take that away} mocked system.<br/><br/>"You mean i am useless!!" Rai gritted his teeth hard enough to create creaking sounds.<br/>{System never said that, but you have some self awareness} system replied.<br/><br/>"Calm down Rai , it's just a system. You can't be angry on it" forcefully calming himself down Rai started walking towards gate.<br/><br/>Just a step out the gate and he saw a scene that can never be seen in his previous life.<br/><br/>The streets looked of a modern city , people looked busy. Sound of vehicles created an immersive rhythm with the cooperation of bird's sounds. It looked as same as in his previous life except there was a small but important difference that was the presence of beasts. <br/><br/>All he could see were beasts hanging around. There was a line of trees on the road separating two parts of roads. Monsters that looked exactly like sparrows were inhabiting it. <br/><br/>A girl had a fluffy cat in her hand but the cat was different from other cats because it was a monster it had emerald eyes. <br/><br/>On the other hand he saw wolf monster going with it's master if you don't look at it's huge size and that ferocious look, it will give you a feeling of house pet.<br/><br/>"This world is indeed so different, the air is so clean because of spiritual power. I can even feel the comfort by just inhaling it " muttered Rai.<br/><br/>But he didn't let himself think deep about it for now he wanted to get familiar to this world and find a student to fullfil the task.<br/><br/>He kept roaming around the streets , he saw stalls full of props but most of them were broken, a shop which sold beasts, and everything that was related to beasts.<br/><br/>Suddenly he took a pause because he saw a majestic building giving a chills around the environment.<br/><br/>It was Beastmaster association, every city had their branches and it was managed by a half elite Beastmaster. Half elite are those who have one or two elites beast in their hands. If they had more than four they would be elites.<br/><br/>"Let's go and take a look, although not now but in future surely there would be a lot of interaction between us" Rai mumbled to himself.<br/><br/>As he entered he saw alot of people people on counter, a bulletin board on the wall which showed the tasks given by association. <br/><br/>Those Beastmasters who did not have any powerful background could accumulate a great wealth by doing tasks. Although the resources won't be enough to rival those of big families, atleast they could feed their beasts and have a steady supply of resources.<br/><br/>"Hey, you look new here " suddenly a voice interrupted his thoughts.<br/><br/>He looked back and saw a young man of teen age smiling towards him.<br/><br/>Young man had dark hairs and a tanned skin. It didn't look any worse rather it gave a charming feeling. he has a cheerful aura looming around him.<br/><br/>"Yeah i just came here to take a look" Rai answered the boy.<br/><br/>"Is that so? My name is Moore . I am aware of things around here. Come with me "<br/><br/>Saying this Moore put his hand on shoulders of Rai, before Rai could answer he was dragged around like that.<br/>Moore introduced him all the counters and mechanism of building.<br/><br/>"Phew, wait i forgot to ask your name . Seems like i was too enthusiastic and forgot it." Trying to put away the embarrassment of not even asking the name.<br/><br/>" Well my name is Rai" said Rai with a smile.<br/><br/>Naturally Rai didn't mind it. Since there were so many people around here yet none even looked at him twice, but Moore went through all the trouble of introducing him all these things.<br/><br/>"Moore what are you doing here , are you troubling someone again" suddenly a cold voice sounded behind moore. It gave moore a chills down the spine.<br/><br/>"Aah!! oh dear sister Mira how can i trouble someone, i was just introducing him to the Beastmaster building " he explained it to her in a fearful manner, it showed that he was quite afraid of this woman named Mira.<br/><br/>Rai looked at Mira, she was a blue hair middle-aged woman with turned up nose, mink eyelashes and thin lips. The cruelty of time hadn't left any effect on her face, it was still giving feeling of youthful aura.<br/>"He didn't trouble you right" Looking at Rai Mira tried to make sure Moore didn't trouble Rai.<br/>"Actually he was a great assistant" answered Rai<br/>"Phew, i am relieved" sighed Mira.<br/>It seemed like she has experienced such cases before too. It's not hard to guess that Moore must have been enthusiastic and it led people into finding it nuisance.<br/><br/>"Why don't you come with me since you guys got acquitted, a cup of tea won't take a lot of time" purposed Mira<br/><br/>"Well" Rai looked troubled since it was out of blue to be invited like that.<br/>"Well that's great, come brother Rai . Sister Miya makes delicious milk tea" <br/>hearing that Mira invited Rai to a tea really excited Moore. <br/><br/>Since Mira rarely let people get acquitted to him.<br/><br/>"Well but it's Beastmaster association where will we have a tea?" But it suddenly stuck Rai that they were in Beastmaster building , naturally they couldn't have a tea treat here right?</p>
