Maybe at the cost of the moon.

The elements booster that chukwu used sent him flying towards earth even faster than the shockwave.

On passing the shockwave, chukwu turned around very quickly, he was almost in the range of earth's gravitational pull.

Chukwu created a shield out of various elements. He was starting to enjoy that.

One thing that was annoying about shockwaves was that they couldn't be destroyed. They just had to charge into something to die off.

Seeing that his shield wouldn't hold the shockwave for much longer, Chukwu immediately released the booster elements that wrapped around him.

The elements merge into a colorful ball that sparkled and exploded, Creating an equally powerful shockwave. It was a battle of shockwaves.

The last shockwave helped to save earth from imminent destruction. But in exchange…..

The shockwave raced towards earth's satellite at an incredible speed. The force that was bound to destroy earth suddenly raced towards the moon.

BOOM!!

The explosion was massive. The moon shattered immediately.

Another round of shockwave flew towards earth,. This time, it was accompanied by bits of the moon and other rocks.

Tch!

Chukwu steadied himself, ready to save earth for the second time in a row.

Pang!!

A super bomb that just left the surface of the earth hit chukwu.

Fortunately it didn't explode. Else it would have really ended earth. Just imagine a bomb that was "super" exploding right outside our planet. Leaving the fire and other things that bombs caused., imagine the radiation.

Unfortunately…..

The bomb had pushed chukwu faraway, leaving earth without a protector….Again.

Since chukwu was no longer there because a super bomb hit him, the rocks and pieces of the moon came flying into earth at high speed.

Earth was going to have to worry about a lot more than andromeda now.

Chukwu couldn't care any less about those rocks.

The moment he balanced himself, he raced to go help anyawu.

United nation's tech lodge could take care of those rocks. And if they chose to ignore them…..then so be it.

People were going to die….A lot of people.

The blackhole was not very faraway from andromeda now.

Chukwu had a feeling that all was far from over. So the best he could do now was to push the blackhole as close to andromeda as his little time permitted.

By now, the earth was probably in turmoil. Blazing rocks were flying into the planet and taking hundreds of life by the second.

Those religious fanatics must have already started blabbing about how God was angry and he was punishing the earth….and so on.

It really hurt him how earth was in turmoil, but he knew he couldn't help it. He had to save the galaxy and you know what they say…..you gotta destroy it to save it.

Wait! Was he going to destroy earth!!??

Certainly not! Earth was the known planet that contained life in the Milky Way. So destroy earth, and you've as well as destroyed the Milky Way.

What chukwu was sure of though, was that the lives spent was sacrificed for a greater good…..though they certainly didn't feel that way.

Do you really have to try so hard?

Chukwu and anyawu turned sharply to face the direction of the voice.

You must be itiri huh?

Yes I am. But I also asked a question. Must you try so hard? Your galaxy, your planet mustn't live forever you know?

Anyawu smirked. You sound pretty straightforward for a guy who has so much disorders.

Chukwu ignored whatever anyawu was trying to achieve as he spoke. You're are right.

I didn't say anything. I only asked a question, so how could I be right. Right about what? Itiri said coldly.

Chukwu took in a deep breath. This dude was obviously very hard to deal with. My galaxy mustn't actually live forever. After all everything is supposed to die out one day.

Anyawu shot him a quizzical look. Chukwu noticed this but he continued nevertheless.

My galaxy must not live forever….

ESTABLISHED!!

…..But my friends, my family and the people of earth are not immortal. We don't live forever, so if no one has lived their life yet, then the galaxy should live forever!

Anyawu held back a very broad smile. But he gave chukwu a look that clearly said:

WELL SAID BRO!!

Itiri was very indifferent to everything chukwu just said. It was as if the boy was reciting a nursery rhyme. Itiri found it very unattractive.

With the type of aura and presence itiri exuded. It was hard to believe that he was human or was ever human. It would be very hard to believe that he possessed a soul…maybe he didn't after all.

The people of sentient must have reall overdid it to make someone become so emotionless, Making him such a cold hearted vessel.

Well, itiri began slowly. I gave the exact same answer when I was captured and asked the question by sentient generals. Believe me, when I say the same answer, I mean with the dramatic start and pause, everything was there.

Anyawu certainly didn't believe this. Why would we believe you?

Itiri didn't even glance in Anyawu's direction. His attention was fully on chukwu. Why would I lie to people that I am about to kill?

This answer sent cold chills down the spines of the duo.

What a straightforward answer!!

Itiri continued. My answer was scorned. Suddenly the hate and rage that was supposed to be present In someone that had his kind of story suddenly appeared in his eyes.

You disgusting sentient descendants! What makes you think you're better than my people?

Chukwu was still shocked by the revelation but this sudden outburst took him by even more surprise.

Where did that come from?

When did I ever say I was better than his people?
