CHAPTER 2 - Their love was all false love!

"Bye nurse, I really appreciate how you took care of me. if I get a chance, I will repay your kindness towards me". I said slightly bowing to her as a sign of respect with smiles all over my face.

alas, till today I didn't know the name of the nurse that took care of me for a week. how wonderfully surprising!

"don't worry its nothing. don't keep your parents waiting. they are already walking towards the car".

"alright, thank you" I said bowing in a hurry and running to catch up with my parents.

"o, Rose you're here, I thought you'd never come" Denise my younger sister said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes.

"he he, now I'm here sister" I said scratching my head and thinking of what her statement meant.

as I was about to enter the car her orange purse fell and I didn't mind because it was just by her side it fell.

"oh, my purse fell, help me pick it up" she said with a commanding voice still with the false smile on her face. I wondered why she will call me when it right next to her. anyway, there was no harm in helping her, maybe she has leg or ankle pain.

"here you go" I said giving it to her after picking it up.

"o, sorry but you forgot to dust it. you know its from the ground" she said still with a false smile on her face.

I quickly used my hand to clean it and I handed it over to her.

she collected it as if it was shit, holding it on one side with only two fingers without saying thank you. but I took it as nothing. after all we were sisters.

"hi mum, hi dad" I said entering the car.

"hm hi". mum murmured. "hi" dad whispered.

I wonder what is wrong with them. they were very protective and all that back in the hospital. I found out that they were my real parents, after going to them so as to thank them, they explained that they were actually my real parents and that the nurse mixed up stories of other patients that's why she didn't remember what was said to her. back in the hospital, they treated me like an egg but now, they were different. maybe something upset them, it will definitely pass. after all there's no parent that don't treasure their kids. especially when the kid was sick or has just been discharged. hehe, I can wait till tomorrow, maybe they are throwing a surprise party for me and that why they are acting like this. I can't wait! I rejoiced in my heart.

But as days went by, it was the same. there were no surprise parties or any change in their behaviour it was the same cold behaviour. if anything happen, they'll always blame it on one person and that's me. they don't even care about who did it even though the evidence was very clear.

there was a day when Denise broke a glass jug and unfortunately, I was cleaning that table where it was kept, and they blamed it on me. I am very sure that mum and dad knew that it was Denise. they probably didn't blame her because I was her senior sister. many other incidents happened in which I was judged unjustly but I just took it as nothing, after all they are my family. but parents are not suppose to treat their kids like this. it like hell on earth! i was treated like a slave in my own house. everything in the hospital was a lie. their love was all false love!
