Vernox couldn't help but feel excited as he appeared in the strange purple skied dimension.

Although the place could use some life and energy, the silence here is way too absurd.

'I'll check the system store later' he thought as he walked to a more free space.

In fact, everywhere was free as there was only short grasses throughout the land.

Vernox summoned the demon sword with his mind. The skull symbol on his shoulder lit up and the sword appeared.

He stared at the sword which had a red blade that looked extremely sharp. It's hilt was like a skull above the handle.

The sword emitted a demonic aura that could even make weaker beings see horror illusions just from going near it.

The origins of this sword still remains unknown to Vernox.

"First of all... I'll need some targets"

He stretched out his other hand and immediately, thick trees sprouted out from the ground and grew around him. These trees didn't have any fruit but were very thick and tall.

He closed his eyes and began to activate his skill.

'Gaze of terror'.

He opened his eyes and they glowed a purple light. Just as he opened his eyes, a pair of trees that were together was immediately lit on strange black flames...like the one that use to be on his demon sword.

He watched the trees burn rapidly in the strange flames. Vernox could feel the heat from the trees that were on flames. The power of this spell he just performed should be at the top of the ranks. It basically burns the targets to ashes, leaving nothing behind.

The skill can be countered by a strong enough person though.

"This one's quite powerful. Let me try...hmm"

He ran backwards at shocking speed and stopped at 700 metres distance away from the trees. He didn't want the next spell to affect him as it kind of have an AOE(Area of effect) buff.

"Meteorite rain" he shouted as he raised his hand up while facing his palm to the skies.

A mysterious red circle appeared above his palm with sub circles and various symbols within the circles.

The sky turned red as he activated the skill.

"Rain down" he said and immediately light after light...ten lights flew down to his dimension.

These were all asteroids that he summoned and they fell at great speed as they flew towards the trees in flames.

*BOOM BOOM BOOM*

Multiple explosions occurred and booming sound echoed around the place as the asteroids exploded upon impact with the ground.

The impact force of the attack shook Vernox a little but he managed to regain his balance after a few seconds.

After the explosion has finished Vernox walked towards the huge crater that was formed by the asteroids.

Smoke emanated from the large hole and Vernox was shocked by the destruction brought about by this particular spell.

"This one took a lot of soul energy to activate"

"Though I understand, the power of this spell is very high and destructive"

"I think I'll have to keep it as a trump for future battles"

It's not like as if he had infinite soul energy.

He regrew the trees and the land that was destroyed and got ready for his next attack.

"I'll test them till my energy diminish" he said as he looked at the remaining soul energy that he has.

Looks like the spells and growing of trees has taken a toll on his soul energy. He definitely has to conserve his soul energy and not use his powerful skills right away when in battle.

He assumed a stance and got ready for the next skill, this one was a skill that he hasn't tried before.

He held his sword in front of him in a horizontal manner.

'Tyrannic slash'

He slashed the sword in a horizontal arc, releasing a wave of flames that was also in the form of an arc as it swept the field.

The wave went of for a few hundred metres and then stopped.

Vernox mouth was slightly open as he looked at the destruction that this skill brought as the grasses looked like ashes already as smoke emanated from the ground.

'Damn, this is even better in real life'

He thanked the system for being so generous as to give him this skill.

Although he had better skills while in the game, it was still a powerful skill to have. He still had enough energy and tested the tyrannic slash more.

He tried to see if the skill was limited to direction. He swung the sword at different directions, up, down, left, side, the skill activated normally and released an arc in each respective direction.

Suddenly, an idea popped into Vernox's mind and he stood while rotating his waist slightly.

'It might not work, it might work... let's see!'

He spun and rotated while swinging the sword as he activated the skill and to his utmost surprise, the flame arc extended a full circle of arc flames spreading in all directions. The flames burned and blackened the grasses as they were all reduced to ashes.

"Whoaah!, this should be the power of an A rank spell"

"Yes, also why isn't my skills ranked..."

"Oh well, I'll ask Ariel next time"

"Sigh...time to try out the last one"

He closed his eyes as he focused his soul energy around his body while he concentrated.

The system normally activates the skill for him, but...this skill is a hybrid solar skill of SS rank which focuses on magical and physical forces.
