So rare that only 11 have appeared since the beginning of time.

These exitance each with unparalleled strength. No one in their era even posed a threat to them. No one other than a Venerable is able to challenge a Venerable.

But more than one Venerable never appeared all together through the river of time.

But do you think that is enough to hold the back? Even though they never saw each there in person but they fought each other through space and time, they fought through out the river of time. The previous Venerable s deduced the action of the future and thus laid traps in advance.

They fought but there is no way a dead Venerable is able to seriously cause trouble for a living one.

Recently Fang Yuan had destroyed fate gu and thus the restrictions of this rank 9 gu worm were removed from this gu world. Thus, the Venerable were going to be reborn and resurrect and live once again altogether in a single era. Imagine eleven Rank 9 entities' dispute it would surely swallow the Gu World.

Well that is formal and all bullshit know to the residence of the gu world.

Things are quite different 'Behind the Scenes'

In an unknown place, in middle of a void of darkness there was something shinning like non other.

It was a golden pavilion. So large that a city could fit in easily. Inside the pavilion at a certain place there was a chess board. It was not a normal chess board and was quite strange.

A normal chess board has 64 squares or grids blocks. But this chess board had 584 squares. Its size was enormous like a dining table but the shape was perfect square.

The chess pieces had eleven different colors representing by the order given before the color belonging to each Venerable was

Green

Black

Emerald

Brown

Red

Blue

Purple

Yellow

Violent

Silver

Golden

There were 16 pieces belonging to each Venerable.

This Chess was quite different to play from the original.

It could be played by multiple opponents. Currently all the Venerable were playing except one.

It was a team match. Teams were divided like this.

Team 1 contained Primordial Origin Immortal Venerable, Star Constellation Immortal Venerable, Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable.

Team 2 contained Limitless Demon Venerable, Giant Sun Immortal Venerable, Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable

Team 3 contained Reckless Savage Demon Venerable, Spectral Soul Demon Venerable

Team 4 contained Thieving Heaven Demon Venerable, Refining Heaven Demon Venerable

They were all sitting at each side of the table except Red Lotus Demon Venerable who was lying on his shoulder at a small distance from the table with his hand supporting his head. He had an irritating expression on his face.

Don't be fooled this chess was all fair even though in teams of two they had certain advantages. Like one of the members of the three personal team could not kill pawns of one of the 2-person team but the vise versa was not implicated.

The goal of this chess was to kill the hidden piece of the enemy. After the hidden piece was killed that person's all pawns will die by default. A hidden piece was representing a Venerable it self and no one knew which of the piece was chosen hidden piece by the opponent not even allies knew the hidden piece of one another.

The pieces after reaching the mid blocks could move in every direction they would want right straight or backwards everything was possible. But in a territory the pieces could only move in one direction, forward. A territory was made up of a few rows at the starting point of a player. So entering a territory you could fight one on one with that player.

"Ok then I shall make the first move" Star Constellation said as she was about to move a piece.

"Star wait!!!! Don't you dare!"

"You think we are fools?"

"You are a three personal team and now you want to make the first move not to mention you are a Wisdom Path Supreme Grandmasters?"

"One of the two person team shall have the privilege" Limitless said in a ratifying tone.

"Tsk…..ok than which one of the two personal team should make a first move" Star asked

"Of course it should be me I am more handsome and manly than these two" Reckless savage demon Venerable said showing of his biceps and triceps.

"I am older than you so I should be the one it is common curtsy" Thieving Heaven said in a dignified manner.

"If we are taking about age master is the oldest so in that logic, he should be the one to make the first move" Star Constellation Immortal Venerable said in a pleasant voice, her voice was beautiful, it could be witch any man's heart.

But

"Shut up you sorry of a woman" Giant Sun roared "You think you are some big shot with that beauty of yours? Don't make me laugh even Reckless has bigger tiddes than your fake and small ones."

Star Constellations pupil microed as she thought 'How does he know?'

Everyone first stared at Star Constellation and the looked at Reckless who upon being gazed on buffed up even more.

After taking a look everyone was in agreement with Giant Sun...this was one thing that all the Venerable s could agree on.

Genesis Immortal Venerable pated Star Constellation's shoulder

"It is not your fault…. Giant Sun has experience far exceeding ours with a woman so of course he could tell"

He was consoling this only woman in group of Venerables as he knew it should be hard with no other women around.

But his words didn't reach Star Constellation's ears as she was still staring at Reckless Demonic Venerable's chest which were oozing with muscles.

Then she looked at her on chest releasing that Giant Sun was right. She could be considered flat comparing to Reckless Demonic Venerable.....and with this the Wisdom Path Venerable was traumatized.

"aaa if we are taking about age...….I am the oldest one at present" Red Lotus which was lying at a distance said.

Everyone took there eyes of Reckless chest and started staring at Red Lotus…..this made Reckless a bit angry as this bastard distracted them from his manliness but he also wanted to hear.

"And by the way why are you not letting me play with you" he added

Tsk

Disgust.

Everyone showed a mutual expression.

"We know how you won the last ten games Red" Paradise Earth said with a gentle smile. He looked like a deity with that shaved head and that kind smile.

"You think we won't notice?"

"Oldest my ass, we know you rebirth a million times but you can not match us in games of wits" Spectral Soul said.

"You can't fool us child" Genesis Earth Immortal said while giving a glare to Red Lotus.

"Drop the act it is off no use….. we know you have been rebirthing during the games to make the right choices and win….. you have been cheating!!!" Limitless said in a dominating voice.

"How did you know" Red Lotus panicked.

His new killer move utilized spring autumn cicada in a way that it was not possible for any of the Venerable 's to tell that he had rebirth.

"There is no mystery or killer move in the world that I can't unravel you moron" Star Constellation said.

'Wow they are first rate actors huh…. Well they are Venerable s so it no surprise…' Refining Heaven aka Fang Yuan thought to him self as he looked at all the Venerable 's dark faces.

Then he gave glare to Red Lotus

The real reason that all the Venerable knew that he had been rebirthing to win the game.....was not due to their findings… it was due to Red Lotus himself...he told the rest himself.

Yesterday night….. at the banquet.

Everyone was drinking Eternal Nectar. An Alcohol which could even make a Venerable drunk.

Red Lotus had won ten times in a row making everyone surprise…but no one suspected him rebirthing as they had counter measures against Spring Autumn Cicada….. Today's game's bet was the Eternal Nectar and by wining the game he had won all the Eternal Nectar.

He drank cup by cup and celebrated his victory as all the Venerable could just look at his face.

He got so drunk….that he ended up telling them himself.

"This bastard!!!! No wonder I was losing so much I am a wisdom path Supreme Grandmaster" Star Constellation was being held back by Primordial Origin and Genesis Lotus from each shoulder... she wanted to murder this guy.

"Star calm down he has already throw mud at our faces by cheating ten times and going undetected... don't get mad now think straight….. in tomorrow's game we can reclaim our honor by catching him off guard…. There is no way he would cheat again." Primordial Origin said consoling Star Constellation.

"Master is wise and right even though I am the Wisdom path Supreme Grandmaster I still need master to guide" Star Constellation calmed down.

'Why does she have to advertise 'Supreme Grandmaster' in every sentence' Limitless thought but didn't said out loud

But when she looked again at Red Lotus he was making faces to Star….. Star showed hostility and clenched her fist tightly making a punch but, in the end, she controlled herself from attacking. She let out impure air.

Red Lotus felt the hostility and started laughing with one hand on his head and one hand pointing at Star.

"Swore loser buahahhahahhhahah"

Triggered.

Star took a leap through space finish this cheating bastard. But there was no way she could out run Thieving Heaven the Space Dao Supreme Grandmaster. Thieving Heaven stooped her before she reached red lotus and then the other two Venerable of Heavenly Court also joined in to restrain her. They some how managed to restrain her for the moment.

But

Red Lotus's laugh was getting louder and louder by the second.

Black aura was coming out from Star's Face as she started dragging the three Venerable s with her.

"Master let me go....I won't hurt him I promise" She said that but her momentum didn't stopped towards Red Lotus.

What was Red Lotus doing…. his laughter was getting higher and higher through the minute.

Limitless entered the scene as he placed a hand on Red Lotus's mouth quitting him down. But the laughter didn't stop so he ended up putting this grand Venerable to sleep.

Everyone was sitting back and enjoying this….. this had become somewhat of daily routine.

Giant Sun Vs Thieving Heaven

And many more quarrels and cat fights like this one.

But Reckless was impressed from this scenario.

'Even though she is ugly and skinny…..but such manliness she dragged those three…'

And thus he formed a crush.

Reckless consider this tender and snow white, beautiful women ugly.... he had different taste.... to him beautiful was muscular.

He was strangest of the lot.

One time Spectral Soul insulted him by calling him an ape.....but to Reckless it was a praise.

"I'll take him to bed" Paradise Earth stood up from his place as he picked up Red Lotus on his back and took him to his room whereas on the other hand Primordial Origin was patting Star's Head which was still hot due to anger.

'That is all that happened…' Fang Yuan recalled all of it.

The match continued as Fang Yuan made the first move as he was the youngest aging 500+ years.

The match continued as several dispute happen during the match… one-time Giant Sun got mad at Thieving Heaven for some reason and started calling out bad things as he was an other worldly demon and thus hated by Giant Sun.

The quarrel was going no where so Reckless suggested to face it like a man and have a duel, they both agreed.

And Thieving Heaven won by a fluke as he stole a core Immortal Gu of Giant Sun…..

'I had boosted by luck to the limit so he wouldn't get any of my gu but…..I guess luck is still a variable it can go either way' Giant Sun sorrowed over his defeat.

In the End Fang Yuan won.

Due to the superiority of the first move he won.

That is what everyone thought….

He had refined every last one of the pieces present on the chest board and thus knew which were the hidden pieces. And there is no way Fang Yuan lost to other Venerable s in term of acting…. He displayed a perfect act and won.
