Chapter 2501 Fang Yuan Fights Heaven

"I want the Heavenly Dao!"

"You! Insolent bastard!" Heaven was enraged, thinking Fang Yuan was trying to make a fool of him while Earth was concerned.

The Heavenly Dao was considered not just one of the 3000 Daos but the sum of the 3000 Daos!

"I can't tell if Fang Yuan is serious or just trying to get under Heaven's skin," the thought of Fang Yuan desiring the Heavenly Dao spooked Earth.

After all, once Heaven was taken care of she would go after Fang Yuan next!

He was an intruder in the garden that was the Gu World, an infestation, a parasite if you would.

Slowly, but surely, he had infected every corner of the Gu World, if he were to acquire the Heavenly Dao…then all would be lost.

"I thought he would be satisfied with the immortality that came from becoming a Dao Emperor but it appears his ambitions are far too grand…I must speak to Primoridal about this."

Fang Yuan on the other hand cackled, "Do you really think I can trust you?"

Heaven glared at Fang Yuan through the cold flames in his eye sockets.

But Fang Yuan ignored the soul-piercing stare, he turned to Star Constellation, "Primordial Domain. Now."

"Hmph, why should I-" the words died on Star Constellation's lips, Fang Yuan began releasing an aura that far surpassed her imagination of what was possible for a Rank 9.

"You!" Star Constellation was immensely shocked, she realized then and there that Fang Yuan had acquired every Rank 9 Elemental Gu except for Fire Gu and Earth Gu!

Star Constellation thought to herself for a bit, "If Fang Yuan acquires Rank 9 Fire Gu, his Dao of Elements will be near completion!"

Although she didn't like the idea of Fang Yuan getting stronger, she knew that he was being a big fish in a shallow pond and there was nothing the other Venerables could do about it.

Like it or not, Fang Yuan had surpassed them all!

But Star Constellation had a plan, "With how much time has passed and how complete his Dao of Elements has gotten, once he refines Fire Gu his Dao of Elements will be complete! This will force him to ascend without Earth Gu!"

Although Earth Gu could be substituted for using other Earth Path Gus, it would have remained a weakness in Fang Yuan's arsenal, after all, the Dao of Elements were highly interconnected and a single weak link was quite devastating.

"Then after his ascention, we can only rely on Lord Primordial," Star Constellation sighed and rubbed her head, "...and Reckless Savage."

Every Venerable stood to gain from the destruction of Fate and Fang Yuan was the only one capable of accomplishing it.

They all knew it, they all stood by it and some hoped that Fang Yuan would fizzle out once Fate was destroyed.

The myriad possibilities that came from the destruction of Fate made it impossible to prejudice the trajectory that Fang Yuan would take, so those that stood against Fang Yuan implemented as many countermeasures as possible.

While those that still wanted something from him threw a few lifelines and support.

Reckless Savage, Theiving Heaven, and Paradise Earth all lent their hand, though only Reckless did it out of his own selfish desire.

It is unclear why Theiving Heaven and Paradise Earth would help Fang Yuan.

Star Constellation relented and handed Primordial Domain over to Fang Yuan through Treasure Yellow Heaven, causing quite a commotion.

Especially…

"Star Constellation!" Giant Sun shouted, "What about our deal!"

Star Constellation had already placed her fingers in her ears prior to putting Primordial Domain on Treasure Yellow Heaven, part of the benefit of the Dao of Divinations was foreseeing events such as these.

"Can you use your brain for 5 seconds?" Star Constellation remarked annoyed, "Can't you see I'm still alive and well? If I went against my word my Dao would punish me do you see that happening?"

"This…" Giant Sun thought about it for a bit and what Star Constellation said made sense.

Star Constellation rolled her eyes, "Obviously I didn't hand over your portion of Primordial Domain to Fang Yuan."

She took out another, smaller, clump of Primordial Domain, "Here."

Giant Sun caught the piece of Primordial Domain that Star Constellation tossed, "Our deal is complete."

The invisible chain binding her and Giant Sun shattered and both of them felt like a burden was lifted off their shoulders.

"Just like that?" Giant Sun questioned, with great caution.

"What are you scheming?"

She didn't answer and pointed towards Fang Yuan, "Just sit back and enjoy."

Upon receiving Primordial Domain Fang Yuan's lips curved up into a sinister smile, "Pleasure doing business."

A horrifying chill went down Star Constellation's spine as if she had just made a deal with the devil.

Fang Yuan began cracking the various joints in his body,

"You know," *crack* *crack*, "I've never gotten such a good opportunity to develop my combat system."

With 1 last crack between his fingers,

"Try your best."

Dao Killer Move ---------- Harbinger of Elements!

The ground began to shake, the stone was being ripped away from the earth, lakes and rivers began to drive up, squalls of wind began to kick up across the battlefield, and lava was seeping up from the ground.

They all gravitated towards Fang Yuan, cumulating and converging on him.

"This…" all the Venerables were flabergasted, even Heaven and Earth!

A sphere of elements had built up around Fang Yuan, a giant mass of Earth, Metal, Fire, and Water, held together by Wind and pulsating with Light and Darkness.

The sphere started out as big as the Billion Soul but it quickly shrunk until…

It exploded outward revealing, Fang Yuan but in an otherworldly form!

His entire body was coated in a metallic lustre, each part of his body radiating every single colour imaginable before returning to its illustrious metal shine.

The form his body took resembled the action heroes of his previous world, the bodysuit contained sharp and distinct edges and rivets that gave it a futuristic look that was beyond this world. (1)

And within his chest was a jewel-like core that held 7 Different coloured lights, each spiralling around the other.

"W-what is that?" Heaven, even in his Death form, felt inexplicably nervous.

Fang Yuan's voice was a deep baritone mechanical voice,

"Saiaku no Akuma!" (Translation: Your Worst Nightmare)

This was the peak result of combining the research and knowledge of Thieveing Heaven with Fang Yuan's unique body.

To form the ultimate combat system, based on the most experience combatant in the Gu World; Reckless Savage!

"My problem isn't a lack of Killer Moves, it's an abundance! To pick the best one from literally hundreds of thousands is impossible, but with the help of Theiveing Heaven's AI series and his battle suit series, I am able to pick and choose as I see fit!"

Fang Yuan was taking advantage of his unique position.

He was someone who could use any Killer Move, and thus, it'd be a complete waste to limit his arsenal to only the Dao of Elements or revolve around a select few Killer Moves, why not be able to access them all?

But Fang Yuan did not merely just adapt Thieving Heaven's Inheritance, he improved it!

Heaven grits his teeth, "So what! Even if you've improved upon Thieving Heaven's design you're still a mortal and all mortals die!"

Heaven wasted no time and activated his strongest Killer Move,

Dao Killer Move --------- All Living Things Die!

A black ray filled with Death Dao Marks strikes at Fang Yuan!

It wasn't fast, but if one tried to avoid it, they would notice the ray creep closer than if they had not moved!

The essence of this move was that Death is unavoidable and trying to evade Death only brings it nearer!

"Heh, even Fang Yuan can't avoid this move," Heaven was still getting a foreboding feeling of imminent worry, but he chose to sweep under not being able to understand or see past Fang Yuan's Killer Move.

"Strange," Heaven thought to himself, "I understand how Theiving Heaven's move worked but I am unable to grasp a single thing about Fang Yuan's…why?"

That feeling was growing stronger.

The black beam had completely enveloped Fang Yuan, making it impossible to see.

Everyone was staring aghast, but it wasn't at Fang Yuan.

"Hmm?" Heaven noticed the strange looks on everyone's faces, "What's happeni-"

Before he could finish his thought, a right hook had landed square on his cheek, interrupting his Killer Move and sending him flying miles away!

"Haahaha," the silver metallic voice intoned, "Did you really think that would work on me?"

Heaven shook the debris off his body, but just as he was getting up, he was plunged right back into the ground!!!

Fang Yuan had flown over at record speed crashing down on him with his full mass!

"Heavy!" Heaven didn't feel pain in his Death form but he could appreciate the great force that lay in Fang Yuan's mass!

"How!?" Heaven was pinned under Fang Yuan, "How are you completely unharmed!"

Fang Yuan smirked, "I'm not wearing a suit, I am the suit!"

As he said that Fang Yuan's right hand glowed a dull grey, emitting the aura of,

"Theft Path!" Heaven instantly recognised, "You want to steal my Fire Gu!"

Fang Yuan gave a cruel smile and no response.

Heaven instantly panicked, "Without Fire Gu, I won't be able to revert off the Death Form! I'll be stuck as a useless skeleton!"

The Death form was the only for Heaven to make use of the Dao of Death, after all, a living being can't use the powers of Death.

But being a Skeleton was the same as being an Immortal Zombie, you would be unable to produce Immortal Essence!

"Billion Soul to me now!" Heaven shouted.

Billion Soul instantly moves towards Heaven, while unleashing its tirade of arms at Fang Yuan.

"Tsk," Fang Yuan was more annoyed than concerned, "Pathetic beast begone!"

Fang Yuan's left hand switched colours to an eerie greyish blue.

"Tch, he has really incorporated all his Killer Moves!"

Immortal Killer Move ----------- Soul Obliteration!

A devastating pale bluish beam shot out of Fang Yuan's left hand, cutting a hole straight through Billion Soul.

It howled in agony!

The beam of Chaos that struck it was certainly painful, but compared to the size of Billion Soul it was nothing much.

But the best counter to Soul Path was Soul Path!

"Shit," Heaven mumbled under his breath, "Guess I have no choice…"

Heaven snapped his fingers, and instantly Billion Soul stopped wailing and began shrinking.

"Hmm?" Fang Yuan noticed the change, "Heh, so you had that as your final gambit eh? Are you sure you want to rely on him?"

Heaven's smile was wry, "What choice do I have?"

Billion Soul began condensing, its figure turning humanoid, but it did not lose its eyes, they were still scattered around its body, all closed.

But once the humanoid form had taken form, they opened simultaneously, unleashing a beam of Soul blast in every direction.

Each beam was equivalent to a Rank 8 Killer Move!

However, it wasn't the residual beam that Billion Soul released that shocked the other Venerables, no, it was a new savage bloodthirsty aura that they were all too familiar with.

"I'M BACK! I ALWAYS COME BACK!"

The most ruthless killer in the Gu World, the fear of an entire era, the source of countless hatred.

Spectral Soul Demon Venerable was back.
