Chapter 2497 Compound Dao Killer Move

Red Lotus hadn't spent all his time idling around, he had finally perfected his version of Fang Yuan's Ruler of Death Killer Move!

Because he had spent the entirety of his revival in a mix of fighting and defending, he hadn't had time to refine the natural Space and Time Path Dao marks of the Central Continent.

Thus, during the Grand Dream Saga, he decided to place his efforts towards creating a Dao Killer Move that would even the playing field between him and others.

He sought inspiration from the Past and Future and only one stood out, the Rank 9 Killer Move Ruler of Death!

This Killer Move made use of 2 Secluded Domains of Heaven and Earth to mimic the strength of a Rank 9 Killer Move, but their power was still ultimately limited.

The moves Heaven and Red Lotus made were vastly stronger, they included genuine Rank 9 Gus giving them an edge over the original.

But Red Lotus only just conceived of this idea and had spent far lesser time than Heaven who was inspired ever since she saw Fang Yuan's battle with Spectral Soul.

Thus, her move was actually complete and perfected, giving her a range of 100 Li, whereas Red Lotus only had control of 20 Li. (500 meters is 1 Li)

The explosion was contained, in the Immortal Killer Move, Sealed Space.

"It can't be that easy," Giant Sun said.

Red Lotus shouted, "It's not!" he was beginning to sweat buckets, "Run away you fool!"

It was then that Giant Sun realised that Star Constellation was 100s of meters away already.

He quickly rushed to her side.

Suddenly, she stopped.

"What's the matter? Why did we stop?"

"This is far enough," She began preparing her Killer Moves, "I suggest you do the same and make it your strongest one, wait for my mark to strike."

"I see," Giant Sun quickly understood her intention and began weaving his heaviest-hitting Killer Move.

Golden Luck began to surge into the area.

"Oh?" a far distance away from the battle, in the Eastern Sea, a lonesome figure was levitating with his feet crossed, no one could tell what he was looking at for his gaze transcended distance.

It was Fang Yuan!

"To think he had such a move," Fang Yuan smirked, "This battle really is interesting."

As he watched the battle he was busy refining Light Gu.

When a familiar voice wafted into his ears.

"Can you get a good view from where you're sitting? Mind if I join in?" a gentle sage-like voice called out to him as the visage of an old man sat next to Fang Yuan.

"Seems like you don't need my permission," Fang Yuan remarked, "Not a single person has dared to so casually walk up to me and sit by my side without permission."

"Oh come now," the old man said, "Aren't I, your benefactor, allowed this much?"

"Your form is repulsive, I don't fancy old men,"

"Hohoho, that wounds my feelings, in fact, it hurts right here," the old man moved his robe to reveal a gaping hole in his chest, right where his heart was.

The old man was none other than Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable!

"Why are you here now?" Fang Yuan asked, he knew Paradise Earth would come sooner or later.

"It's time to give you the final piece," he gave a tender smile, "I know you'll make the right choice."

Paradise Earth held out Fang Yuan's hand and placed something inside it, as soon as Fang Yuan closed his hand, Paradise Earth crumbled to dust, returning to the Earth.

"He's truly dead now," Fang Yuan was absolutely sure of it.

Fang Yuan continued refining Light Gu.

Back at Heavenly Court,

Red Lotus was getting more and more strained against Heaven, the explosion within the Sealed space kept building up in power.

"Red Lotus," Star Constellation messaged him, "We're ready."

He let out a breath of relief, "Finally."

Red Lotus snapped his fingers and he moved to Earth's side.

"I'll heal you," she used her left hand to heal and her right to control the Chaos.

Internally, Earth was having to reassure Ying Guang Xin that there was no problem.

"You can win right?"

"Of course child, either way, if things truly take a turn for the worse you can break our bond and escape using Freedom Gu."

Ying Guang Xin telepathically nodded, "It's true, but I'll lose Responsbility Gu in the process."

"Is a single Gu worth your life?"

Ying Guang Xin nodded, "No, I just want to remind you to try and achieve the best-case scenario."

Earth nodded, and messaged Hei Lou Lan, "Child, how long before you're done."

In the Black Cloud,

Hei Lou Lan was at the centre staring directly opposite the Black Lightning made of Chaos.

"I've just reached the Chaos but it appears much bigger than anticipated, I don't think the Supreme King Totem can hold that much Chaos."

"Damn," Earth tsked, "Can you redirect the Chaos at something other than his Dao Killer Move? Just don't let it come into contact with that torrent of elemental energy attacking the Billion Soul."

"Sure." Hei Lou Lan responded, "Where do you want me to send it to?"

Earth smirked, "Let's give my ex-husband a present."

At that moment, a loud explosion could be heard, followed by a surging heat that spread in all directions.

As Red Lotus was no longer maintaining the Sealed Space, Heaven broke out easily.

"Now!" Star Constellation shouted, and both she and Giant Sun activated their Dao Killer Moves!

A weird resonance happened between Giant Sun and Star Constellation,

A blood-red moon, dripping with blood, emerged from behind Giant Sun as it flew up and hung over the sky, casting its crimson-red glare upon the world, through the lens of its sinister red light, creatures both dead and damned begin to become visible.

At first, they were illusory, but over time they grew flesh and bones, voices could be heard and they began to blot out the sky

Yet one thing was for certain, there was a deep-seated hunger in each of their eyes.

But this cursed moon wasn't alone, its crimson red was encased within a backdrop of stars that twinkled and dance in the tranquil night.

Each star seemed to hum a tune that appeased and soothed the avaricious souls, they began to dance along with the stars.

"Hmm?" Fang Yuan perked from refining Light Gu, "What an interesting notion, I didn't expect that."

He smirked to himself, "I didn't expect the Great Dao of Divination to be that powerful!"

Compound Dao Killer Move -------------------- The Celestial Ballroom Of Death!

If one looks closely at the faces of the ghosts one would see faces slowly beginning to turn, from their twisted grimace of hunger to ones that are jovial and cheerful, almost as if one was having a good meal.

Each ghost was dancing in pairs, numerous strings, soaked in blood, were attached to Heaven and the multiple dancing ghosts above.

Every time a ghost duo completed their dance, that very same string would snap and the ghosts would disintegrate, with peaceful expressions on their face.

And a new ghost pair would spawn and take their place.

Over and over again, strings of varying degrees of bloodiness were snapping.

But unless one was at least a Dao Lord they wouldn't be able to see these strings.

"Heuuk!" Heaven coughed into his hands, she felt the rising warmth and the unmistakable taste of iron in her mouth.

Looking down at her hands, Heaven saw blood!

She felt the blood still streaming out of her mouth.

"HHAHHAHA, a compound Dao Killer Move! You actually managed to pull one off!" Heaven's deranged laughter, fiery dress and a bloody mouth made her look to be the epitome of insanity!

"I commend you for the effort," she wiped the blood from her lips, "Let me guess, this move combines both Karma and Divination, it uses Karma as the source of retribution and Divination to find who has been wronged, and they are all victims of Spectral Soul."

Heaven cackled, "But all this is doing is damaging the body of Spectral Soul."

But instead of confusion or shock, Star Constellation just revealed a confident expression,

"I know. You're wrong."

Those 2 phrases set off Heaven's alarms.

"She knows? What does she know? That this is only harming Spectral Soul? Well, she possesses the Dao of Divinations so of course, she must know. Me wrong? In what way? I'm positive that's what this Killer Move is doing but what is this eerie feeling that I'm getting?"

At that moment, one of the thicker strings snapped, and Heaven knew at that moment what Star Constellation meant.

"You!" she pointed, "You dare cast the judgement and resentment of all living beings on ME!?"

A grin formed on Star Constellation's face, "That's right, all the accumulation of hatred and resentment that I've gathered over the past Billion Years have been placed into this Killer Move. Enjoy."
