Chapter 2411 Red Lotus's Scheme

Ying Guang Xin and Light Emperor turned to each other, scoffed, and proceeded with their individual plans.

Light Emperor stood his ground waiting for a predicament to appear, while Ying Guang Xin followed close behind Feng Jiu Ge.

"It's best to let Feng Jiu Ge carve a path for me since he's easily the strongest person here, besides Red Lotus." Ying Guang Xin thought: "Worst case scenario I can teleport back to Myriad Year Flying Warship."

Indeed, the Myriad Year Flying Warship was still floating a distance away from the Upslope Downslope Road.

Light Emperor looked up and Red Lotus's Will was there sneering at him.

The group continued to climb higher and higher.

Soon they encountered a group.

"Oh?" Feng Jiu Ge quickly inspected them and didn't find his daughter so he continued on.

The group soon saw this handsome man and young fairy walk past them.

"Who are you?" they called out.

His speed was neither fast nor slow but soon he was steps ahead of them.

"Don't mind him," the group turned around and saw a gorgeous tall slender woman with amazing proportions. Her face was flawless, and her eyes were slightly cold and detached as if an immortal condemning the world.

Who else could it be but Ying Guang Xin?

The group was too stunned to speak.

Ying Guang Xin broke the ice: "Who are you guys?"

A temperament and aura made them understand, this is an Immortal!

"We're a group of Gu Masters from the Central Continent!" they clapped their hands together and bowed.

Though she had learned to give a business-like introduction for formalities sake, she still had that innocent air around her.

"Shang Xin Ci, where have I heard that name before…" Ying Guang Xin thought long and hard but could not place her finger on it.

Since she had an uneasy feeling she decided to not play around any longer and just leave them be.

"After all, if they're going to get absorbed, I might as well leave it to Red Lotus and not save him the trouble." She then sped up and left the Gu Masters behind.

As soon as she had left another individual just walked by them without so much as a glance, he was bald was the only thing they managed to catch sigh off.

Once the 4 of them left the groups sight, they began to discuss,

"Those 4 that walked by us should be related right? They're all kind of weird."

"Mhm, agreed, did you see that 3 of them just walked by without acknowledging us! Just because they're Gu Immortals they act so high and mighty."

"Sssh, they're not ordinary Gu Immortals I'm sure they're at least Rank 7! Did you see how they just shuffled by with just their walking speed, I'm sure that if they didn't want to be seen we wouldn't be able to it's just that they want to conserve Immortal Essence!"

The group continued to discuss the matter as they slowly made their way up.

Meanwhile, in a separate space in the Stone Continent.

A deep red illusory figure was floating in front of a Gu House.

The only difference was that the one on the left had lots of black hair on his chest.

And now they were so close yet so far from one another.

A third vat could be seen, slightly behind the 2 vats.

But inside this vat was a blue illusory figure.

"Soon." Red Lotus said as he stared into the vats, reflected in the glass was a girl levitating behind him seemingly deep asleep.

Feng Jiu Huang!

She was not hooked up to any vats but was soundly sleeping behind Red Lotus.

Red Lotus sighed: "I never thought that one day, I, Red Lotus Demon Venerable would have a junior sister."

He shook his head and smiled slightly.

Outside the Stone Continent,

Before Star Constellation and Genesis Lotus met Giant Sun.

"Without Wisdom Gu, my deductions are slower," Star Constellation said.

"Star Constellation do you have Wisdom Gu's recipe?" Genesis Lotus asked.

She nodded and handed it to him: "Why?"

"Excellent," he began producing all the ingredients necessary out of thin air!

He explained it to Star Constellation: "This is my Painting Path method imitating Refinement Paths Fake Gu method! By using the Painting World to isolate from the real one I can create Gu's that are near identical to the real thing! Because this Painting World doesn't have any Gu it won't conflict with the real Gu that exists in Reality. But they only work within this world, and I can't make certain Gus, like Heaven Path."

Star Constellation was deeply amazed: "Couldn't you make Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus Gu then?"

But Genesis Lotus shook his head: "I can't, well more specifically I could but it has no benefit, everything in this world runs off mostly my own Immortal Essence, to refine Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus Gu would be to use my Immortal Essence to return a fraction of that."

"I see," Star Constellation was not disappointed she roughly assumed so.

Soon a Rank 6 Wisdom Gu appeared before them, then Genesis Lotus willed the ingredients for the Rank 7 version into existence and began refining once again.

Rank 7 was soon achieved!

But while attempting to refine Rank 8: "Hmm?"

The refinement failed and everything exploded.

"Hmm? The refinement failed?" Star Constellation asked.

Genesis Lotus shyly nodded and coughed: "Erhm, well I'm no expert in Refinement Path, even without any interfering Dao Marks mistakes on my end are still inevitable. But the good thing is once I succeed once,"
