Reverend Insanity the Final arc- Fan edition

I am a BIG fan of reverend insanity and was so sad that the ending was never finished as the author has been blocked from publishing more, I realllllly hope that he comes back and finish the book but in the meantime, I have been so filled with ideas on where the plot goes I decided hey why not write my own ending for it, why don't I try to pick up what Gu Zhen Ren left, maybe it'll be good, maybe its shit but I really love the Gu world and I hope this inspires other writers to use Gu in their world. I do wish to one day write my own fantasy book but since RI left so much stuff behind it'd be a shame to leave it all. That said please don't take anything here seriously this is a FAN EDITION, not cannon and I am not claiming credit for anything, please go and support the original author I believe he has another series called infinite blood core, and please do go read the original Reverend Insanity.

Chapter 2412 The Tragedy Of The Northern Plains

Using 'Wisdom' Gu, Star Constellation once more set up the Shared Thought Formation and the Sheer Deduction Formation.

Since Giant Sun had last seen her with 'Wisdom' Gu, he did not know that it was Fang Yuan's trap all along.

Thus, Star Constellation purposefully displayed 'Wisdom' Gu to Giant Sun to fool him into thinking she still had it.

"With our combined efforts we were able to make the Earthly Veins Scour The World formation!" Star Constellation passed the completed Formation to Genesis Lotus.

Giant Sun: "This formation used, Earth Path, Luck Path, Information Path and, Wisdom Path if only we had a Heaven Path master on our side, we would be able to guarantee with 100% certainty any Earth Path Gu."

Giant Sun sighed, even though their formation was a half-Rank 9 Formation, it was still just a Rank 8 Formation at its core, and it was only half-step Rank 9 because of Book Mountain.

They could not guarantee that Fang Yuan would be able to block them

This was because none of the Venerables had any Rank 9 Gu that related to the formation.

Or at least that's what Giant Sun thought:

"We must keep up the charade, act natural." Star Constellation said to Genesis Lotus, via mind link.

"Indeed, Fang Yuan has two Rank 9 Gu at his disposal, and they are both extremely useful, forget about Reputation Gu, just Strong Gu alone is enough to give us all headaches if Fang Yuan obtains Rank 9 Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus…" Star Constellation 'shuddered': "I can't imagine the terror."

Genesis Lotus was shocked in his head: "Who knew the renowned Star Constellation Immortal Venerable was such a good actor! She even has me fooled."

"Indeed, if that Demon Fang Yuan gets hold of Rank 9 Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus, we may not be his match, even in our own HQs!" Genesis Lotus added fuel to the fire.

He could see how effective his words were at convincing Giant Sun, who was in deep thought.

"Hmph, how can I not see that these 2 are putting up an act how shameless! But I must give it to them, they make a good point…if Fang Yuan really obtains Rank 9 Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus can I defend Longevity Heaven?"

Giant Sun did not know their exact ploy, but he could tell that their 'worry' was fake.

Even as the 'weakest' Venerable, Giant Sun could still escape from the clutches of Star Constellation and Genesis Lotus, but Fang Yuan with near-unlimited Immortal Essence?

It was tricky to say…

And sure, he could run but wouldn't Fang Yuan then come to his door? And if he did come with such a huge stockpile, would it be possible for Giant Sun to fend off such an assault?

Keep in mind that with enough Immortal Essence Fang Yuan could transform any normal move into a Rank 9 move!

And Fang Yuan's moves were anything but normal!

Sure, Giant Sun had the advantage in his own HQ but even he didn't have an endless supply of Immortal Essence.

With Peak Rank 8 to Half-step Rank 9 moves, he could defend indefinitely even if the enemy had unlimited essence, as his own essence regeneration would be able to keep up with attacks of that level, provided they were in his HQ.

But Rank 9 was both an extreme qualitative difference, and with a barrage of them…

Giant Sun involuntarily shuddered at the wasteland that Longevity Court could become, more devastating than Heavenly Court's destruction, which only suffered a Half-step Rank 9 explosion.

Imagine multiple Rank 9 explosions.

It would be the end of Longevity Heaven and the Northern Plains.

"I'm getting a response!"

!!!

While Giant Sun was contemplating, Genesis Lotus had activated the formation.

Within minutes it began picking up something.

"Is it him?" Giant Sun couldn't help but ask.

Genesis Lotus shook his head: "We don't know yet, the formation we built works from outward to inward, it detects if there is a Gu being refined near us, then if that Gu is the Path we specified, then the Gu we specified and finally, who is refining the Gu and where the Gu is being refined. For us, we only need to know that Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus is being refined and it'll be enough to tell us that Fang Yuan is the target. But to find his location might be hard, considering the Endless Night blocking the formation from pinpointing his location."

"Don't worry that's what the Killer Move, Wake Up!, is for just keep deducing," Star Constellation said.

Genesis Lotus nodded and closed his eyes.

"Friend Giant Sun would you mind helping me activate Wake Up!? After all, we should spread the workload evenly right? I've set up a formation that will continually use the Killer Move, Wake Up!, I suggest we split the workload a fair 80-20."

"80-20! That's ridiculous!" Giant Sun was incensed.

But Star Constellation kept her smile: "Friend Giant Sun, I'm not trying to rip you off this really is the fairest way, so far me and Genesis Lotus have contributed at least 70% of the Gus used and, Genesis Lotus alone is powering the Earthly Veins Scour The World formation and…"

Star Constellation went on to list other factors that made note of all the contributions of Heavenly Court, and though Giant Sun want to refute using his own merits, Star Constellation had shown how she already factored them in by being 'generous'.

"Fine fine," Giant Sun waved his hand, as had a headache debating with Star Constellation: "70-30 no more."

"75-25."

"Fine." Genesis Lotus injected his Immortal Essence until the formation was 75% full.

Star Constellation smiled and injected the other 25%.

Meanwhile, in the Stone Continent,

Feng Jiu Huang was peacefully floating in midair, asleep.

She was currently in the midst of exploring Giant Sun's dream realm.

Within the dream,

The skies were pitch black.

Moisture filled the air as the smell of rain wafted through the atmosphere.

Roaring thunder could be here from miles away, while lightning streaked from cloud to cloud, briefly illuminating the night sky.

In no time at all a torrential downpour began, as if the Heavens were crying.

"ZHU ZHU!"

A handsome young man in mud-stained white clothes held a pale skin girl in his arms, amidst the backdrop of rain and thunder.

The girl's life was fading before his eyes, yet there was no injury, no poison nothing that should be causing her death.

The woman called Zhu Zhu coughed a mouth of blood onto the man's mud-soaked robes: "Ju Yong, I've enjoyed life so much since you've come in, I know you only approached me because you rejected Fate's decree of me becoming the next Venerable, I knew that's why you approached me and yet, I still fell in love with you anyways, so take it to use Luck Path and become Giant Sun Immortal Venerable."

"No…NO!!! I don't want it anymore please don't do this," Ju Yong cried out.

Zhu Zhu once again coughed out blood: "It can't be helped your Luck Path was too strong, Fate is currently too weak to repel it and thus, this anomaly was born, you've taken the providence of a Venerable from me and now the world no longer recognizes my existence," she coughed more violently:

"Isn't it kind of ironic?" even on death's doors she gave such a radiant smile.

Ju Yong wept and wept: "I'm sorry I'm sorry, I'll fix this."

His eyes glowed Blood Red,

Immortal Killer Move --------- A Life For A Life

Ju Yong started bleeding from all his orifices, the blood began to flow out into a giant ball of blood.

Originally, Ju Yong wanted to extract the Blood of Zhu Zhu to become the next Venerable but amidst his research, he found that there was also a providence attached to a Venerable candidate.

He then began to research both paths simultaneously but found it hard to make progress, as even a genius would be stump with pioneering a single Path let alone two.

He decided to focus on Luck Path first, as that Path would bring him the most benefit and potentially allow him to climb higher.

The first Luck Path Killer Move he ever pioneered was Connect Luck Gu!

But Giant Sun had no way to get close to Zhu Zhu at the time and was only a Gu Master so he tried his best to combine both Blood Path and Luck Path.

Creating the Mortal Killer Move ------- Drain Luck.

His plan was to drain her Luck through her family thus, boosting himself further.

On his first attempt at the Killer Move, most of the Gus used straight-up died, causing him severe backlash.

Ju Yong thought he failed but conveniently the next day, he actually ran into Zhu Zhu!

She was heavily injured and poisoned,

Ju Yong was ecstatic he thought it was his lucky day.

He saved her and had her stay in his clan and residence to 'recuperate' but in actuality was studying her.

But as time went on, they grew close, and soon, he gave up his pursuit of snatching her Providence.

He gave up Luck Path as he thought it would lead to more harm than good, also afraid Zhu Zhu would find out what he attempted to do and reject him.

Switching from Luck Path, he started seriously cultivating Blood Path, he had a goal: "Why was I so fixated on Fate? If Fate says Zhu Zhu will be the next Venerable why can't I be one with her?"

Henceforth his aim was to become a Blood Path Venerable! [1]

Unfortunately, unbeknownst to him, his Killer Move did work!

But not in the way he intended, the Move actually burned Zhu Zhu's lifespan to increase her own Luck and that Luck was being siphoned into Ju Yong.

At first, there were no signs due to her huge Venerable luck protecting her, but as the move was allowed to fester and grow, she became deathly ill.

Zhu Zhu sat there watching Ju Yong, the smile never leaving her face.

As the last bit of blood was about to drain out of Ju Yong,

"It's time," Zhu Zhu used all her strength to stand up.

Immortal Killer Move ---------- A Life For A Life!

Ju Yong was losing consciousness as nearly all the blood had left his body, yet when he heard Zhu Zhu his eyes jumped open in shock.

But he did not have the strength to ask, but as if predicting his mind:

"Oh Ju Yong, how can you keep secrets from me? I know you originally wanted to extract my blood and providence to become a Venerable, but I too have been researching Blood Path to bear children. My notes are in the 4th drawer by our bed ;)" she winked at him before collapsing.

The cheeky smile was still plastered on her now completely pale skin.

Ju Yong was panicking: "It's ok it's ok I can still fix this I can still…"

A bolt of Black Lightning descended at that very moment, striking and refining the huge ball of blood, while also completely destroying Zhu Zhu's body.

"NOOOOO!!!" was the last thing Ju Yong roared in his mind before the Blood Ball condensed and was forced back into him.

With him already having, accidentally, absorbed Zhu Zhu's providence of a Venerable and now coupled with her blood and his peak Rank 8 cultivation, 200 000 Luck Path Dao Marks[2] and at that very moment obtaining Supreme Grandmaster attainment in both Blood and Luck Path, the Chaotic Tribulation had already begun.

That black lightning was actually the chaotic tribulation!

Luck could be said to be on Ju Yong's side as this was easily the weakest Chaotic Tribulation in history.

Because Fate was damaged, the tribulation that descended was influenced by Luck Path and thus, only the bare minimum amount of Chaos needed to elevate Ju Yong to Rank 9 was used.

As soon as the Black Lightning descended, it broke apart the storm and everything turned peaceful.

The next morning Giant Sun woke up,

Sensing his cultivation, looking at the pit, he spent 3 days and 3 nights crying at the exact same spot.

With that, the dream ended. Feng Jiu Huang woke up; a trail of tears had streamed down her beautiful face.

"Tragic, isn't it?"

[1] The whole backstory behind Zhu Zhu's death is self-invented. But I wanted to use it also tie up the loose end that is Giant Sun 'accidentally' becoming a Luck Path Venerable instead of Blood Path.

[2] If you're wondering how he has 200k Luck Path Dao Marks, it's because his Drain Luck Killer Move converted Zhu Zhu's lifespan into Luck Path Dao Marks. So he unknowingly grew his Luck.
