chapter 25 really another one?
The next few days i spent creating a new weapons to use as well as some others as a back up plan. I made sure to prepare myself for the final battle. Ruby python gu gave me more strength but theirs no way to gain the strength of another python by the next match.
I even prepared some extra weapons that could be useful. I tried my best to reach rank 1 peak stage but im just not there yet. I could try to get new strength path gu to cover my weakness, but not many people are selling strength gu. Their mainly trading gu right now, though i honestly don't want anymore.
I know what paths i want to follow so the immortal recipe for grip gu isn't a necessity, but really just my greed telling me what to do. Soon the week passed and i was greeted by a familiar voice.

I then was teleported once again to a large plain with a woman 30 feet away from me. She had long purple hair and a slim figure, she was honestly very pretty and one thing stood out the most about her.... she was blindfolded, and before i was able to make any blind or bondage jokes she spoke
???[ lets see what you've got... two beast strengths dao marks that are snakes and one your still working on. You've got.... only two strength path gu? Even if their rank 2 how did you even manage to reach the final round? You also got some weapons that seemed to be poisoned, oh and two of those bottles of primeval water from the players shop
At least you prepared a bit but still how could you make it all the way here, and one last thing you have six gu on you that i can't recognize what path they belong to.]
Crim[ finally someone who knows how to speak. The last people who i had to fight weren't great at making conversation, but I've got to say something. I don't mind you speaking heck i implore it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't watch what you say, but now its my turn to say things about yourself.
From you clothes i can tell your from western desert, and from your arrogant attitude. Your most definitely in a strong clan and not just that your most likely a child of a immortal from that clan as well and because of that big mouth of yours i know you are one of the extreme physiques.
Imperial seer physique, a physique of the information path allowing you to literally see the dao of the world, but that comes with a con. If you use your eyes to much you'll strain your eyes too much and can even lose your eyesight. Of course thanks to gu you can negate the side effect. So im guessing you picked the strength gu called warrior eyes gu.
It strengthens your eyes and thats it almost no one would pick that gu but for you its the best pick, and last but not least i heard that a immortal of the Sol clan had a daughter with the imperial seer physique.... and her name was Moni Sol. Hows my information gathering skills its no imperial seer physique but I'm still good right or I'm i going to fast for you?]
She had a fierce look on her face now as if i just told her darkest secret to everyone.
Crim[ whats wrong are we not speaking now.... hmmmmm i think i broke her oh well.]
In reality i knew of her from my previous life. She was indeed Moni Sol and everything i said about her was true. Aaaaaaaaa its always the best to mess with someone's mind
Before I could say anything else she threw some glass vials on the ground and instantly the whole area was surrounded by smoke. Instead of staying still i used jab gu and started to run around randomly.
She's making full use of her physique even though i can't see she can. As i was moving around a palm shaped wind came at me, but since i was moving around it missed.
The palm shape attack hit the ground imprinting a palm into it. This girl is basically a sniper she takes cover and attacks when you lower your guard
It had to be another person with a physique and with her physique i can't use alot of my weapons. Any throwing weapons she'll see coming from a mile away, the floor tacks that i made and poisoned are useless too.
As time went by she kept sniping at me, that gu shes using is palm thrust gu. If your strength is high enough it makes a wind palm bullet. I can't remain passive since shes an imperial physique she has a 100% full primeval sea essence and can restore her primeval essence way faster than me.
I took out a bottle with a cloth at its opening and lit the cloth up, and then tossed it to where the last air palm came from.
Moni[ you really made molotov cocktails? Ha what good is it if you can't hit me with it.]
I said nothing and continued to throw three more in specific areas. Afterwards i threw several small vials in different areas.
Moni[ what now that you ran out of molotovs your just hoping to hit me with those vials of poison. Thats probably how you won your other matches huh? You threw those vials at their face and blinded them to then sneak attack them. Too bad for you even if you did manage to hit me i would still be able to see you.]
I ignored her and continued to throw more small vials. After two minutes i couldn't take it anymore and pulled out a different small vial and drank it.
Moni[ your... drinking the poison?]
Crim[ oh im sure that must be what it looks like to you huh? sadly for you no I'm not drinking poison but you'll find out soon.]
I then started to throw my blades randomly, i even started to throw my floor tacks i made.
Moni[ don't you know i can see all of those]
Crim[ i know but I'm not trying to hit you just distract you enough for the poison gas to take effect on you.]
Their was no reply to my statement but i could now hear her gasping for air. As more time went by the smoke began to disperse and i could finally see Moni. She was sat down trying to regain her breath. Once she saw me she stood up
Moni[ you..... those vials of poison how did it effect me? I...should have...been able to... see it coming.]
Crim[ it true you see dao marks but if i used other dao marks to distract you, well your no different than me. Those vials release a poisonous gas that lower your ability to breathe. Normally you would see it but thanks to the Molotov cocktails all you saw was the fire path dao marks and then i distracted you with all those poisoned weapons. The whole time you were focused on that you were breathing more and more of the gass. I spent alot of that time holding my breath and when i couldn't take it no more i drank the antidote, but in your eyes it was just poison and thats because poison is used to counter poison.]
I then used jab gu and ran at her, she threw two wind palms but didn't move. As i got closer i threw a blade using jab gu to increase its speed but the blade didn't even scratch her. She definitely has more than one defensive gu.
She threw another wind palm but i could see she was much more exhausted each time she did so. Once i was an arms reach of her she tried to punch me but she was too slow bow. I grabbed her hand and used her own momentum to slam her into the ground.
I then used grip gu to break her arm, all she could do was exhale a little air and cry as she had no more breath to scream in pain. I then bent down and grabbed her throat as she looked at me in the eyes
Crim[ well at leat you now how i won my other matches.... by literally crushing them]

With that i was given the immortal recipe for grip gu. Most of its materials arnt that hard to get, the problem is how many times will it take to refine.
