With jackals help and the replenishment from the liquid primeval essence I was able to take the jars of primeval essence and some of the best wine.

It took us a few hours but I managed to make it to the village before night. I made my way to my room and stored my loot. I then slept since I had spent the whole night awake.

When I had woken up I had gone to the kitchen and took some berries and feed it to wine Gu. Which happily ate its fill as I made my way back to my room to cultivate the system rang

In my last life I made my character randomly, but now I got someone in mind. After a few minutes I had made a complete copy of insatiable Drinker. I then clicked finished and was sent to a large plain with hundreds of people around me.

Several people were shouting similar things. It's just like a flea market just much larger. I pulled up a screen and began to look for resources and gu's that I needed, but it came up empty.

It's still to early no one has made good enough progress to obtain resources to trade or sell the same goes for Gu worms. Well I at least can make some money. I put in some bottles of primeval sea essence to sell. Each one sells for two rank 1 primeval essence stones.

I then left the shop looks like I can now prepare more for the future. I spent a few more primeval essence stones and made 8 liquor worm wines. A food path refinement recipe that has a chance of naturally refining a liquor worm. I'll have to wait a week to see how many successfully refined.

With my new funds I was able to restore my primeval sea essence consistently and continued my cultivation thanks to it I was able to successfully advance to rank 1 upper stage. My aperture now created a dark green primeval essence and with steeped tea I can further refine it to peak stage primeval essence.

It should take a few days till the game event strength path emerges starts. As I was thinking the teacher said something that brought me out of my thoughts.

Teacher[ next week will be the first years test. You will all be hunting wild animals different beasts will give different points. The one with the highest points in class will win 20 primeval essence stones and will be the first person to choose their second gu, but you don't have to work alone. Theirs also a reward for the whole class if the whole classes points surpasses the other classes.]

The whole class started talking to each other discussing plans and making teams. Little did they know that there would be more dangers in this hunt, but with danger comes opportunity. There will be two types of Gu that I would want, but their also the most dangerous.

Two more days went by when the system rang out again

System ( start of the event strength path emerges has officially started. More beasts with strength path Gu will emerge. Most importantly the fighting tournament.)

The system began stating the rules for the tournament. It was pretty simple though basically their will be six fights total each separated by a week. Each fight will reward a Gu or Gu recipe, but each fight will get consistently harder since you will be fighting people who also won their fights.

In my last life I made it to the third battle. I didn't take full advantage of the event but now I can and I will. The event will give one free Gu before the first fight. So even if you lost the first fight you still get something.

Their was a long list of rank 1 strength path Gu worms. The most popular Gu that would be picked would be strength enhancing Gu. Like the black and white boar Gu, but to be honest that'd be a waste of choice. In a way those types of Gu are one time use once your strength enhances all your left with is a Gu that costs a lot to feed.

Those types of Gu would be put for sale and trade in the players shop once their owners used them. So why would I choose a Gu I'd have to get rid of later. This event if done right can reward an immortal level Gu recipe.

After each fight you can get a new Gu or a Gu recipe. Any Gu you get would be guaranteed rank 1 but the Gu recipe will increase by each fight. So the first fight can give you a rank 1 recipe and the second will give a rank 2 recipe and so on, and since their is six fights. The highest Gu recipe a player can get is rank 6.

Rank 6 means the Gu becomes an immortal Gu. Something lots of immortals don't even have, but only a few people would realize this, and even fewer would make it to the 6th fight.

So it's best to pick one Gu and obtain its recipe all the way to the 6th rank. After all refining an immortal Gu would take many tries. So it's best to get all its recipes so you can have multiple ingredients of that gu.

I already have a Gu worm in mind I selected the Gu on the list and confirmed the selection. A small little white squid the size of a pinky finger appeared in my aperture. Which I instantly refined since the Gu had no will. Rank 1 strength path Gu grip gu.
