"How does this make any sense!" ~ Scientist Port Till(the head scientist of 'Interdimensional Travel') "If I don't produce results soon! then I'm going to be 'fired'!" ~ In this business 'fired' was code for getting wiped from history and his head was starting to develop bold spots. "U-um Sir. If I may interject." ~ Sim Art his Assistant spoke up. "What!" ~ One could hear the clear rage in Port's voice. The Assistant swallowed and loosened his necktie ~ "Technically that wasn't our last group..."

Nazism in The Gu World

The main house of the Xiong clan was a grand space, a recently hewn circular table with a fresh wood scent that still carried traces of the forest was brought in. The table's polished surface gleamed with oil extracted from local flora.

However, the wood felt soft and fluid to the touch, lacking the sturdiness and strength that one might expect from such a table.

Within the chamber, the Xiong clan's elders sat in confusion, awaiting their leader's explanation for the unusual presence of a rank-2 novice seated beside him.

"I can see the confusion on your faces, you're all probably wondering why the new table?" ~ Xiong remarked, his lips curling into a sly smirk.

"No, one thought that!... I mean it's great, sure, however, I have a different question, why is someone who has only recently started their education into the gu masters world, sitting here with us?" Xiong Wen has been an elder in the Xiong clan for many years, his advice to the Xiong clan has always been held with high esteem, and whenever he questions something it usually means it was a bad idea.

"Ah, I stand corrected," Xiong replied, his smirk still standing tall. "The new table was a matter of personal taste, but it would seem you all have a more pressing question. 'Why the newbie?' Well, That's simple, it's because this man is wiser than everyone else here!" His words were calculated to incite a reaction from the elders and to test the abilities of the newcomer, 001, to prove his genius to them.

As Xiong spoke, the elders silently scoffed at his words, thinking to themselves, "Bullshit!" However, they dared not voice their doubts aloud in front of their leader.

It became clear to the elders that their leader was attempting to impart a lesson to them. Perhaps he was trying to show them that they had grown old and complacent, and that the younger generation was the future of their clan. This was exemplified by the new table, which was made of softwood - a young tree, barely a year old. It seemed to symbolize the new replacing the old, and the importance of nurturing the next generation.

However, Xiong Wen wasn't buying into the Xiong clan leader's apparent message of change. "Ahem... How would you recommend we fix our current shortage of manpower?" he asked pointedly, directing his question at 001.

At first, 001 raised an eyebrow in confusion, causing the other clan members to assume he was simply young and inexperienced. However, it soon became clear that his confusion was born not of ignorance, but of disbelief at the foolishness of the question.

"By saying 'shortage of manpower,' you're implying that more men would fix our lack of power," he responded dryly, his expression deadpan.

"Well, of course, more gu masters, more power!" ~ Xiong Wen smirked.

But 001 winced, recognizing this as the age-old debate between quantity and quality. These people had relied on the external elder system for far too long, and had been using it incorrectly. "The external elder system was first introduced by the rock men," he explained. "Due to Love Gu placing a curse on their bloodline, making them constantly fall in love with other species. It was then improved upon by the humans to survive against the beast-men. We had no choice but to join together. It was then yet again improved upon by large clans, put in place to ensure new ideas and progress would come into play. But instead, you have used it as a means to simply increase the number of gu masters."

A deep frown started to show on Xiong Wen's face, "Stop with the riddles, and get to the point."

"You've relied far too long on patching deficits by getting what is essentially mercenaries rather than making the clan as a whole stronger."

The others wanted to rebuke him, but Xiong raised his hand, signaling for silence.

"I can see that you've tried mimicking the Shang clan's method of external gu masters, but their method works because they're rich, making strong people come to them, when one is poor they must use the Fascist method. The Fascist method was introduced very well by the germans."

The others started whispering, "Fascist? Germans?"

Xiong again raised his hand to silence everyone, but this time it was slower, for he was also greatly confused.

001 bowed to show his thanks, "The Germans had recently lost a war, and the world wanted them to pay compensation, it felt like the entire world was their enemy, and that's when a... revolutionist named Adolphus Hitler came along and took their hatred, saying things like, The reason 'our enemies' are rich is that they are crooks, thieves, the worst of the worst. He made his nation run on one simple philosophy, exploit the weak and let rise the useful, in other words, the merit system, the exploitation system, and the unity system, all in one package."

For the next hour, 001 would explain the merits of collective animosity. For it is far simpler to put forth effort fueled by resentment towards those who possess greater wealth than oneself, rather than to strive with no purpose other than the act of striving.

Of course, he left out the part where the germans lost in the end, or how slavery would always reduce long-term benefits because it reduces creative productivity, but by the time they realized that it would be too late.

He also made sure to make a few changes like putting emphasis on merit and not bloodline.

Everyone looked at this system and slowly they all started to nod their heads.

Strangely, there wasn't a single dissenting voice to be heard, and deep down, the elders began to sense that this man was no ordinary individual. They couldn't help but perceive the radiance of a natural-born leader emanating from him.
