Must find food!

A rank-3 elder is waiting outside the cave just in case anything might go wrong, and then he notices 001 has escaped their grasp and is running out of the cave, which surprises him. He also notices the presence of a rank-1 Gu although incredibly faint. Probably one of those Gu that could fool a rank-2 Gu master, but not him. He is about to kill 001 to get the inheritance, then he sees Bai Ning Bing make a club, and immediately rushes inside to stop him.

001 makes it out of the cave and is surprised that they aren't chasing him, but figures since they were there for the other man, maybe they think it isn't worth it to chase him.

As His body is quickly recovering, he notices that he is also quickly losing mass. Whatever happened to him in there, has made him stronger, but it has also made his body consume fat at an incredible speed.

His vision is getting blurry, but he forces himself to stay awake, but this time when he bites his lip he notices that it has a flavor, almost sweet like honey, "Did I turn into a vampire?"

It is currently too dark outside to tell if he is weak to sunlight. But to him, this is a very strange world, so it wasn't impossible that he had been turned into a vampire.

He kept running for two hours. If these people have a tracking method, and special abilities, then making a trap, is more of a risk than simply running.

Eventually, he notices some light in the distance, and then he lowers his body, paying very special attention to his surroundings, during the run he picks up some rocks and a large piece of wood. He is using the rocks to sharpen the wood, so he would have a makeshift spear.

Surprisingly the ice hasn't melted yet, but he isn't banking on that continuing to be the case.

As he slowly gets to the village, he notices out of the corner of his eye, a shiny crescent-like blade coming directly for his head.

He quickly pulls back to dodge it, and then a person with glowing hands jumps down from a tree ~ "You're a fast one. Now, I'll only ask this once, who sent you?"

[Great, just great, everyone in this world has some sort of ability, or maybe that's the reason he's the village guard] ~ He looks at the belt on the man's waist, it has two lines, like the older man in the cave, [If my hypothesis is correct that should either signify rank, power level, or amount of abilities.]

"I mean no harm! I'm just a random nobody from a nearby village, while I was in the forest collecting wood for a fire, I was attacked by an extremely persistent wild boar, so I kept running. Eventually, I fell from exhaustion. Imagine my luck that when I awoke not only had the boar given up, I also saw the lights of another nearby village."

Gu Yue Dou is clearly doubtful of this, after all this man has dodged a moon blade that is only a few meters away from him, he would have to be a hunter in order to pull that off, but would a hunter need to run away from a wild boar? But at the same time would another clan really send a mortal as a spy? ~ "Give me your hand I need to check if you have an aperture."

While getting closer he notices a complete wooden spear, which shows the man must be a hunter ~ [Why is so he so skinny?] ~ He then notices a piece of ice ~ [Ice? In the middle of spring?] ~ This is not normal, so he reacts with a question ~ "Who are you real..."

When he looks back at 001 's eyes, he feels like a sheep in front of a wolf.

And before he can activate any Gu, his head feels cold, very, very cold. Then slowly his whole body starts to feel cold.

At that point, 001's eyes are starting to close, but just as he is about to fall asleep, he sinks his teeth into the man's neck.
