Bai Ning Bing!

"That Demonic path cultivator will die today for taking villagers from our Bai clan!" ~ Bai Guo is seething with rage, the village that was under his command had recently lost 3 mortals, and to make matters worse when he was about to catch the blood cultivator that was doing it, the blood cultivator used some sort of blood mist to get away, which in turn killed another 10 villagers!

As punishment, he had to pay 5 primeval stones for every person who died, which totaled 65 primeval stones. As a protector of mortal villages life is easy, but he doesn't make a lot of money. He had saved up but had only accumulated a measly 37 primeval stones. Since he is family, being part of the Bai clan bloodline, he was granted mercy, and only had to give one stone a week.

He was livid. Not because people died, no, no, no. But because he, himself had to take the responsibility, ~ [I mean does this even make sense? I'm not the one who killed them. They're not even of Bai clan lineage so why do I have to pay 5 primeval stones per person!], But he couldn't say that out loud because he is in the company of the new upstart, whom the village leader trusted more than him. Bai Ning Bing!

Bai Ning Bing yawned, he is beyond bored, [When I kill this blood path cultivator should I make it seem like the blood path cultivator killed this guy. . . what is his name again?] ~ He then shook his head, [His name is not what's important, the question is how am I gonna kill a rank-2 Gu master when I'm only a rank-1 Gu master]

Bai Guo wanted to punch Bai Ning Bing for not taking this seriously but held back on account of him being the Clan's number one star, which would help put the Gu Yue clan in their place.

They entered a room with a heavy stench of blood, with pieces of human and beast strewn across the floor ~ "Disgusting! This pig shouldn't even be considered human!"

Bai Ning Bing walked to the body that looked the freshest, then flipped it over ~ "Is this the guy?"

Bai Guo is surprised to see the one he is after is dead, but not too surprised, after all this blood path cultivator has likely upset a lot more people than just the Bai clan. What mostly confuses him is why there are no wounds, so he checks his 'detect heartbeat Gu' and yells ~ "Step Back! He's faking his death!"

Bai Ning Bing has little experience with traps, so he quickly jumps back while shooting an icicle at the corpse. But after waiting a while nothing happens. ~ "You said he's faking his death?"

Bai Guo was also confused, his Gu has told him the heartbeat is right there, granted his Gu can't tell him anything about the height and depth, but it is right there. So he activates his offensive Gu 'Bamboo Spear Gu' which makes a bamboo spear, and throws it at the Gu master's head, causing it to pop like a watermelon.

Bai Ning Bing frowned. [Damn, why did it have to be so quick! Well, there's still human B]

Bai Guo was still on edge, after all, heartbeat Gu is still detecting 3 total pings, and one of them is still somewhere in that spot. So he looked up, and just as he had done that.

The sound of fingers being snapped reached his ears.

Causing his heart for only a brief moment. . . Stopped!

001 heard them walking and talking in the cave, so he tries to hide as quickly as he can, only problem was there is no hiding spot aside from going in the pot, which would be found out quickly, but when he looks up, he notices that there are a lot of stalactites hanging from the roof.

He goes to the stalactite closest to the ground, which is on the opposite side of the entrance. It is sadly roughly 4 meters off the ground, but with little choice, he decides to try, so he jumps, and with surprise, he made it close enough to grab it.

He lifts himself up with one arm, like a professional athlete that's been exercising all their life, no, his current body was even stronger than that!

He easily climbs from one stalactite to another, his goal was to get to right above the entrance. That way he could either jump them or if they walked deeper in, he could high tail it out of there.

But just as he had made it halfway, they showed up, and coincidently he was over the body of the now-deceased Demonic cultivator.

He was surprised that these people also had abilities, and one of them seemed to have a tracking ability along with a spear-making ability.

When the older of the two looked up, 001 immediately went into action, however, his body was starting to feel tired.

Falling down, he noticed an icicle fly toward him, so he forcefully woke himself up more by biting his lip, catching the icicle in midair. When he landed his ankle fractured, it has been a very long time since he has last used his legs, but he quickly corrects his posture and then starts to run to the entrance, despite the pain in his ankle.

Bai Guo's heart is beating very fast, [What was that?] ~ He then shakes his head ~[Doesn't matter, he must be the one who killed the demonic cultivator and took the inheritance!] ~ He quickly makes another spear and blocks the way of 001. And with a smile on his face, "Hand over the inheritance and I'll spare your life!"

Raising an eyebrow, 001 dodges the spear, then uses the icicle in his hand to stab him in the leg and keeps running to the entrance.

"AAHH, This fucker!" - Bai Guo swings his spear behind him, but there is already 3 meters of distance between them, "This man also has a speed type Gu?", He then changes his spear grip from fighting to throwing, "Take this!"

As the spear is coming for 001's head, he easily dodges it, by using the reflection in the icicle to see behind him.

"Damn It!" ~ Bai Guo is about to order Bai Ning Bing to chase the man, but then suddenly his vision goes black.

Using a very large club of ice, Bai Ning Bing knocks Bai Guo unconscience. ~ "Hopefully that man left something behind that can help me to lower my talent." ~ He could have shot an icicle at Bai Guo, however, that would have killed him. Which would lead to future problems.

He then goes up to the corpse of the Demonic Cultivator and finds a few Gu worms.
