Chapter 5: Ancient Beast Secret Realm

[Demon Beast Forest]

After his breakthrough to the 5th Stage of the Body Tempering Realm, Lennon continued the search for more demon beasts.

He reached a river were he saw a one eyed crocodile. This crocodile had one eye on it's forehead and black silver rough skin. It was extremely hard. When Lennon saw that it was a peak Rank 2 Beast, he was happy. It would be an easy kill.

Swish. His body flashed and the next moment. His sword stabbed the back of this crocodile. Roar.

The crocodile roared. It was stabbed on it's back, but the sword was just unable to pierce through.

"Shit, how strong is this thing's back".Lennon was shocked. His attack that could severely wound the Rank 3 Demon Beasts actually couldn't kill a Peak Rank 2 Demon beast.

With its defense, the One Eyed Crocodile was a almost unbeatable opponent. Not far from the crocodile was a lake. As soon as the One Eyed Crocodile was injured, it pulled it's body with extreme speeds and ran to the lake water.

Lennon was holding the sword and his body was dangling like a kite on the back of the One Eyed Crocodile.

Splash.

The One Eyed Crocodile ruthlessly slammed on the water causing a resounding splash. Lennon quickly held his breath.

Boom. Boom boom.

Splash splash.

Resounding explosions and splashes rang out as the One Eyed Crocodile spun on the water trying to get rid of the human on it's back. However, the sword didn't budge.

The wrestling continued for a few moments before the crocodile suddenly dived down deeper into the water."is this guy trying to drown me".Lennon Cursed.

He didn't want to lose one of his five swords and come out empty handed. Small blood died the lack bright red.

The crocodile was an animal that didn't have a lot of blood in the first place. It had powerful muscles that helped it grow stronger.

It did not have too much blood. It was like the fist on the ocean. They had too little blood. The crocodile dived down at an extremely fast speed. In no time, it arrived at the floor.

As soon as it arrived. It began to spin crazily. Boom boom boom. Muffled booms resounded under the deep. The fish at the surroundings ran away in fear and other weak crocodile beasts left the water as soon as possible.

Even though Lennon had a strong physical body, he still felt the pain. The water darkened and a terrifying water current formed.

At the same time, the sword on the crocodile broke free and with Lennon. It was thrown into a area that looked like an abyss. This area was just dark.

When Lennon's body came to this area, it got sucked in and disappeared. A while later, Lennon opened his eyes and felt a headache. His body was soaked wet and his whole body had weeds on top of it..

His clothing had a bit of dark in them, but after a few moments, they quickly cleaned it. Now, Lennon was completely cleaned and dry.

His gaze fell upon the area. Looking behind him, he saw only the sea and in front of him were tall trees with lush forestry colourful flowers and beautiful multicolored trees. "Where am I?" He looked around.

He didn't recorgnise this place at all. "Did I enter a secret realm?" He revealed a shock on his face. He didn't expect that he would enter a secret realm by luck. He almost praised his own luck. However, Fortune and Misfortune are always together.

He didn't dare to be careless. " I don't know where I am, so the best thing to do now is to explore." He walked to the tall trees and climbled just one of the tallest ones. It took him a short period of time to reach the peak of the tree.

When he was on top, he saw able to see most of the area. Far back was a sea and on the opposite side far away was a mountain. This mountain had a lot of spiritual Qi.

The outside world had at least 5% of the Spiritual Qi of this area. Lennon was shocked. He could feel that this Qi was very ancient and stable.

It was like a cultivation Holly Land. At the same time, Lennon thought of a name, "Ancient Beast Secret Realm". This secret realm was once a world were beasts thrived. There were many beasts with ancient bloodlines inside it. It was a danger zone for all cultivators who hadn't reached the Core Formation Realm.

A cultivator at the Core Formation Realm could at least fight beasts at the First Rank in this secret realm. The strongest beasts in this place are at the 5th Rank.

Lennon hadn't even entered Qi Sea Realm so he was far too weak. If he close to explore this place, he would die for sure. He felt cold sweat running down his back. He was horrified. If not for the fact that he had some memories on his mind, he would have died in an attempt to explore this place.

"Shit". Lennon cursed inwardly. Suddenly, screech screech screech.

Loud screeching sounds were heard. At the same time the sun was blocked by a shadow. This shadow was of a bird.

Whooshing sounds swept as air was torn apart by big claws that fell down at an extremely fast speed.

Roar.

A loud roar resounded and a massive scaled beast attacked. Boom. Boom. Boom.

Explosions resounded and the ground vibrated like it was going to collapsed.

When Lennon saw these two beasts he was scared shitless. Hiss.

He sucked a cold breath.

"Its a Seven Coloured Peacock and a Azure Scale Snake." He was shocked. This seven colored peacock had flames on it's feathers, which meant one thing." It has a bloodline of a sacred pheonix beast." He was shocked. Looking at the snake with Blue Scales and Azure Scales, his shock grew.

"This snake had a bloodline of the Azure Dragon. One of the Five Sacred Beasts." He was shocked. Boom boom boom. Explosions continued and the fight reached a climax..

At last, the Azure Scale Snake lost and tried to flee. At the same time, Lennon realized something. On his right hand, there was a Jade token with golden patterns and on his right hand was his sword. On his back were other four swords.

"Where did I get this? " He was shocked.Why are strange things happening here. He was really shocked. He didn't even realize when he got this token. It seem to have appeared out of nowhere.

At this moment, the token on his hand lit up and at the same time, his body disappeared from this place...

When Lennon woke up, he was shocked. He was now outside the area. He was out of the lake. "Did someone save me?" He couldn't help feel puzzlement. He looked at his surroundings and sighed in relief.

Looking at his hand, he saw the token there motionless. When he looked at it, he came into a sudden realization.

"This token can help me enter and leave the secret realm everytime as long as I want to." He put the token on his pocket and thought, " is someone helping me from behind the scenes?"
