Will held the assault rifle as if he were admiring it, but the look on his face showed dread and worry as if the gun itself were to attack him. Steve focused at Will as he looked this way, "You DO know how to use it, right?"

"Yes!" he scoffed at Steve before he gave a dramatic sigh, "I just haven't used one in a long time," he said before checking the chamber through the ejection port. Will then checked the measurements of the front and rear iron sights. Will checked the number of rounds left in the extended magazine. He then slipped it back into the well. Will looked extremely professional with the rifle and Steve quickly got intimidated from the sight of Will bearing an arm so properly.

Will looked at Steve and gave him a glare, "Why do we need to kill all of the zombies here if I am what's bothering the AI of this place?" Will spoke boldly to steve as he then shrugged, "Just bring me to the bottom floor and no more zombies will come down, right?"

Steve nodded but quickly told him the truth, "That most likely would work, yes, but..." Steve placed his hands on his hips as his head lowered in thought, "The B.S.A.A. will be raiding this place soon. I don't want them to pin the blame on us if they were to have any casualties while trying to break into this building."

The older man stared at Steve. He found his kindness a bit too much for comfort, "The world is not keen to kindness, kid. You're telling me, that you among others will be turning themselves in for the convenience of the government?"

Steve shook his head, "The B.S.A.A. Not the government," he said with a stern tone, "This may have my friends arrested, but everyone will be under the protection of the B.S.A.A. Honestly, I think that's better than being killed from them."

Will scoffed and found his logic hilarious, but he was not willing to argue. "Well, why are they coming here anyways? Why now?"

Steve ignored the question as he realized that his headache was completely gone, "I have a theory but I don't want it distracting me. We should head to a lower level. Save ammo for long-range attacks. use your knife for close encount-."

"I know how to fight, kid," Will spoke as he flipped the tab on his gun to semi-auto. He walked past Steve outside the barn as Steve gave a frustrated sigh as he soon followed.

Steve rushed ahead in a brisk jog as he spoke, "The elevator is this way," He ran ahead to the corner of the map.

As he stood an waited for Will to catch up the elevator presented itself to them. The wall Slowly splitter and revealed a large elevator. Steve walked in as well as Will. They stood there, next to each other as they awkwardly waited for the elevator to close. Steve pressed the button that had the number four labeled on it. The elevator lowered down as Steve thought about the question Will gave him. Steve thought about it. there is no other reason for the B.S.A.A. to be wanting to come here. If they did have a reason, they would have done it years ago. Steve himself must have been the reason, which led him to believe, "Someone in this building may be a B.S.A.A. spy..." Will turned his head to glance at Steve as he continued on, "I don't have any clue who it might be, but they must've made a report when I awoke..."

Will gave him a very confused look, "Awoke?"

Steve chuckled before clarified, "Right, you don't know. I was an experiment fifteen years in the making, I was in a coma for that long after a near-death experience. Apparently, something called the Veronica Virus is what is inside me. It's probably what kept me alive."

There was a moment of silence from Will until he gave a solid and stunned, "...Huh. OK. Anything else I should know?"

Steve stared at the ceiling of the elevator as he thought out loud, "I heal quickly... I have a very strong heart... My strength can allow me to do things normal humans can't, and I just learned... I can control zombies," Steve gave a squinted glance at Will, wondering if he was going to get hostile with this knowledge.

Will's eyes widen but he looked more shocked than upset, "Was that what you were doing before you passed out?" Steve gave a nod to the question.

As Steve relived that scenario he remembered that some shotgun shells were used. He flipped his shotgun and refilled it with the shells that were on his belt, "I took advantage of it by using the zombies as a wall between me and them and would use the ax to kill them, but As a result, I ended up unconscious. If you weren't there, I would've died."

"And somehow, I have yet to hear a thank you," Will spoke boldly and with a hint of sass.

The elevator stopped. They both could hear monstrous screams and cries past the door. Both of the boys rose their guns and pointed at the elevator, "Let's get to the bottom floor. Then, I will thank you."

"Fair enough," Will spoke in a whisper. His AR pointed on ahead as the doors slid open to reveal a war ensue before the boys. Both Steve and Will slid behind the doors and took cover as they peaked out.

There was an angry onslaught between bleeding red zombies with claws protruding from their fingers. The sounds they made were horrid. Angry, snarling cries as they attacked, and would fail to even touch the other creatures.

Thes big dark scaley creatures. Their arms were giant along with there clawed hands. Snarling teeth and orange eyes. They looked like two-legged Scaley frogs with sharp ends on every angle.

Steve pinned himself against the corner of the elevator as Will watched the two interesting groups of B.O.W. fight to the death. Steve felt himself start to panic. He could not feel that link he had with the other zombies on level five with these creatures. These creatures could not be controlled, at least he could not control them. Steve whispered to Will, "The fuck are those??!"

Will quickly mouthed Steve to stay shush. He continued to watch the creatures as he whispered calmly, "The red zombies are Crimson Heads. They are aggressive and strong. They kill whatever moves, eats whatever's alive," Will then looked to the other creatures. "Those are Hunters. They are exactly what their name says. They hunt anything and everything simply for the sport of it. They don't eat anything. They are smart and strong. They usually move in packs of two or three. You NEED to use your shotgun on them. The Crimson Heads you still put a headshot on, but it'll take a few shots before the skull gives."

Steve watched Will explain everything and he could tell this man has been living this life for a long time. The fact that Will learned of this knowledge probably from experience, was enough for Steve to give the man respect. His trust was another thing.

Steve glanced back out. Will was right. There were only three Hunters in the gym. The forest. They were fighting inside a large, dense, vast forest of trees, grass, soil, and mud. It was a lot darker than the last gym. The roof was lower. Fewer lights, too. Some of the lights were ultraviolet. Attached to the roof were some type of drones that would follow the Hunters as they fought the Crimson Heads.

Steve and will chose to watch the fight and wait for the winner. Then to attack. If they can kill themselves, why waste ammunition?
