Increasing My Stats

It was already nighttime, Darkness shrouded the sky but Axel and Erza still kept on traveling in a fast pace without rest.

Axel kept wondering, Why wasn't there any quests that appeared?"

Quests were meant to appear when something was about to happen, But it didn't appear even after fighting the Centaur." He pondered, Confused about how the quests works.

"Young one, This place should be far enough. We've been traveling nonstop for hours now." Erza said in a calm demeanor.

"Okay, Let us rest here for the night and move again once the sun rises." Axel replied, Surveying the area they were currently standing.

While Erza formed two swords and tried starting fire by its sparks, Axel quietly sat down at a tree and was completely immersed about something.

Well you have a point. I should exercise first..." He said and prepared to do some push ups.

The fire was actively blazing infront of Erza while she wondered what Axel was about to do.

"Young one?" She uttered, Confused on why Axel was doing a push up stance.

"Yes?" Axel replied, Looking at Erza while in a push up position.

"What are you doing? You know we just ran several hours earlier right?" She stated.

"Well yes...? But I need to increase my strength. I realized something after fighting that centaur." He responded in a serious tone and did some push ups.

"I see, Well if you're tired just rest okay? I'll stay on guard for the night." Erza said while adding firewood into the fire.

"Yes." Axel replied and continued on doing some push ups.

After doing three hundred push ups, Axel sat on the grass and breathed heavily. His sweat dripped profusely while he wiped it off from his forehead.

Axel then opened his Status window, Hoping that his Stats increased somehow.

"Finally!" Axel suddenly yelled in an excited manner after realizing that his STR and VIT increased by 1 point.

"What's going on? Why are you excited?" Erza asked, Curious about Axel's sudden behavior.

"It's nothing. I should go to sleep now, I feel really tired. Hehe~" He responded and pretended, Slowly lying on the grass and stared at the sky while glittering stars shined.

"Use this." Erza said and handed him a floor mat to sleep on.

Axel lied on it and turned at Erza's direction while she sat near the fire.

"Thanks Erza." He mumbled and slowly closed his eyes.

While Erza felt happy seeing Axel. She then patted his head and started humming silently.

The next day arrived, Axel woke up and saw Erza sleeping beside him. He yawned and gently got up to not disturb Erza's sleep.

He gasped after seeing a quest notification infront of him.

*Quest: Increasing your stats. Do a 1000 push-ups, 1000 curl-ups and 1000 mountain climber. Reward: 10 Stats for STR, AGI, VIT*

The heck!? How am I suppose to finish it in a day? Oh... Wait. It doesn't mention any time limit right? So I can do this within several days?" Axel murmured to himself, Staring intently at the Quest notification infront of him.

*Growl* Ugh... But first I need to eat. My stomach's grumbling."

He then looked around and noticed there weren't any luggages, They forgot that their food were still at the tent they've used on the camping site.

"Oh shit." He said, Face slapping himself.

Erza then woke up after hearing the sound of Axel's slap. "Huh? What're you doing?" She asked, Rubbing her eyes.

"Uh, I'm hungry and we don't have food. I forgot that our food was on the tent." He said, Ashamed after forgetting to bring the most precious necessity they needed.

Erza's eyes blurted whilst she got up in an instant, "I forgot! I should head back right now!" She said in a serious tone.

Axel waved his hands, Trying to stop Erza. But just as Erza got up, The three orphans appeared infront of them, Carrying a large cloth bag while gasping for air.

"Teacher!" Zigion said loudly, Happy to see Erza.

Axel and Erza paused, Completely surprised about their sudden appearance.
