(At the Classroom)

The dark purple hair teacher was standing in front of the class and holding a book in her right hand.

Louis : Today, we'll learn about one of the most terrifying monsters. It was a hybrid of the lion and other animals. It has the body of a lion but the goth head grows on the back and its tail ends with the snake head. Sometimes, it also has eagle wings. Legends say its body size was four meters big and can breathe fire.

The yellow haired boy raised his hand.

Louis : Yes, William?

Wil : Umm....which head breath fire? Only the lion head or all three heads?

The dark purple hair teacher looked at him with a dumbfounded face.

Louis : Uh.....I don't know. There's no solid proof that says Chimera can breathe fire. But monsters changed and gained new abilities by evolving. So, it might be able to breathe fire with all three heads if it reaches a certain level.

George : (Wow, she's just like you, old man. She can explain to others clearly while herself has no clue.)

Kuragari : Hey! Don't bad mouth at my waifu. She's your teacher.

George : (You only care about her hips.)

Kuragari : Just because you're correct doesn't mean you're right.

George : (Okay, stop. I get it. Just don't talk about philosophy. My head really hurts.)

Louis : Chimeras are ferocious monsters and their appearances ain't the only thing that makes them scary. They have a special ability that makes them immune to magic.

George : (What!?)

Louis : Their bodies couldn't be harmed by magic. Spells like Mana Blast couldn't do any damage to them.

George : (Magic immunity???)

Kuragari : Calm down, boy. There's a lot of creatures with magic immunity.

George : (A lot???)

Kuragari : Yea.

George : (Then, how are we gonna fight them?)

Kuragari : If it bleeds, it can be killed.

George : (.....even the kids know that.)

Kuragari : Just kidding. Go back to the topic. There's no creature with absolute magic immunity. And if they actually exist, they must be demon hybrids. Because... that ability was too strong for this world. As far as I know, Chimeras wasn't a demonic monster. But only if they never evolve. If they did, there's a chance that they are actually absolutely immune to magic.

George : (You think we could fight them with our level?)

Kuragari : I'm not finished talking.

George : (Okay okay)

Kuragari : Just think logically. Any normal monsters have magic resistance. Just like the disease resistance. Some got high resistance and some got low resistance. No matter how high their resistance is, a disease with high damage can infect them because they're actually not immune to it. Basically, they're not immune to magic but the spells that are used on them are weaker than their resistance. To beat that resistance, we only have to use spells that can give significant damages. And, we can fight them physically. Also, we can use magic projectiles like the lances I created with dark magic.

George : (But we're still amateurs in magic.)

Kuragari : I know. That's why I'm planning for the physical fight.

George : (You got any plans?)

Kuragari : Yea. We'll use the weapons from my world.

George : (Weapons from your world?)

Kuragari : Yea. Why?

George : (I know nothing about the weapons from your world. How can I use them?)

Kuragari : Actually, they're really simple once you understand how they work.

George : (I just told you to not say any philosophies.)

Kuragari : Did you know a word that describes us perfectly?

George : (Assassin?)

Kuragari : Close. Outlaws. Outlaws fight against the rules. You might think that you're just trying to be the anonymous heroes.

George : (I did)

Kuragari : .............You think that we're just trying to be the anonymous heroes.

George : (I'm not trying to correct you, you know)

Kuragari : But we're actually breaking the law as much as we want in the ways we like. If we're not outlaws, there would be no one.

George : (I haven't thought in that way)

Kuragari : We're genius outlaws that no one could rival. But, people don't get it. They thought we were just talented assassins. They're underestimating us.

George : (Wasn't that good?)

Kuragari : Yea, it's good. But, we have to show that we're out of their league. We have to show something bizarre and terrifying.

George : (Are you talking about your weapon?)

Kuragari : Yes. The weapon that only outlaws use. It was one of the weapons that I extremely wanted to try.

George : (Please don't over do it)

Kuragari : You'll see.

Realizing that the spirit was determined, the boy stayed in silence.

*Flashback Ended*

People in the academy are woken up in the middle of the night by the loud noises. Some of them rub their eyes, some of them yawn, some of them changed their sleeping position and tried sleeping again, some of them didn't even wake up, some of them got up and looked at the window. They saw multiple lights sparkling through the whole city. Some of them were confused and some of them realized the situation they were in.

Oren : That's the fire!

Then, when they watched the scene carefully, they noticed the strange creature with wings flying in the sky and breathing fire around the city.

Oren : A monster??? (How did the monster appear? The forest was really far from the city and the monsters weren't that aggressive. Even if the hunters mess with them, monsters won't chase them anymore if they're outside of the forest. How did this happen? But anyway, that wasn't important. I have to protect the academy or fight the monster right now!)

The purple haired boy immediately grabs his vigilante clothes from the box underneath his bed. Just then, he heard the loud voice of the principal.

Principal : A CHIMERA WAS ATTACKING THE CITY!! AND IT WAS HEADING TO THE ACADEMY!! BUT DON'T PANIC!! JUST GO TO THE MAGIC PRACTICAL ROOM AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! TEACHERS WILL BE THERE AND PROTECT YOU ALL!! DON'T CHOOSE THE ROUTE WITH MANY STUDENTS!! CHANGE THE ROUTE IF YOU CAN!! THAT'S ALL!!

Hearing the announcement, the purple haired boy changed his mind and decided to go with the student uniform and put the vigilante clothes back into the box. Then, he ran out of the room. He saw many students running in the corridor. He looked for something and he saw the group of students searching for something. He ran toward the group and talked with them.

Oren : Why you all standing here?

They all look at the purple haired boy.

Cecelia : We couldn't find George. He wasn't in his room and no one had seen him.

The purple hair boy realised what the boy was planning. He decided to find the boy by himself.

Oren : I'll look for him. You all just go to the practical room. I'll be there with him.

The blonde hair girl looks at the purple hair boy suspiciously.

Charlotte : Did you really know where he was?

Oren : I did.

The blonde hair girl looked into the purple hair boy's eyes for some seconds. Then, she realised.

Charlotte : Alright, you find George and come to the practical room together. If you two don't come in twenty minutes, I'll tell the teachers to find you two. Got it?

Oren : Got it.

Charlotte : Then, let's go!

The blonde hair girl and the group ran away and the purple haired boy ran in the opposite direction. While running, the purple hair boy continuously asks questions in his mind.

Oren : (Are you seriously planning to fight that monster, George?)

He looks for the boy everywhere, including other student rooms. He also looks in the classrooms. Then, he looked into the lab room and saw the shadow of someone. He immediately opened the door and saw the boy in vigilance clothes holding bottles and many bottles nearby. The boy didn't even lift his head and continued his job. The purple hair boy immediately runs toward and asks.

Oren : What are you doing, George?

The boy ripped some clothes and soaked them into some liquid.

Kuragari : Crafting a magic potion.

Purple hair boy confused.

Oren : A magic potion? For what? To fight the Chimera?

Kuragari : Yea.

The boy plugged the clothes into the bottle' s mouth.

Oren : Don't you remember that Chimeras are immune to magic?

Kuragari : I did. But this wasn't the normal magic potion. It was a super magic potion.

Purple hair boy confused again.

Kuragari : It's fine to not believe me. But, I'm the only one who can defeat that monster. Carter might be strong but he couldn't solo fight the monster this big. Other teachers also couldn't help him either.

Oren : You think you're that strong? To solo the magic immune Chimera?

Kuragari : Don't believe me, just watch.

The purple haired boy realised that the boy was determined to defeat the monster and he also thinks that the boy stands a chance against the monster. He decided to help the boy. Meanwhile, the boy put the bottles into four bags.

Oren : Can I help you?

The boy looked at the purple haired boy and realised that the purple haired boy was different from earlier.

Kuragari : Then, hold these bags and follow me.

The boy gives two bags to the purple hair boy. The purple hair boy nods and carries the bags. Then, the boy carried two bags on each side and immediately ran out of the room. The purple haired boy instantly followed after him.

*Meanwhile*

The giant monster flies into the academy area. It spit some fire on the academy. But the fire landed on something in the air. The giant monster tried to land in the academy area but it bumped into the invisible barrier. The giant monster lands in front of the academy gate and attacks the gate furiously with its might that even the ground gets shaken each time its attack. Teachers looking at the front gate with concerns and worries in their eyes. The old teacher enhanced her vision with the spell. The teacher with a mustache just looked with his normal eyes but his trained vision granted him able to see the gate clearly. The dark purple hair teacher uses a telescope and watches the gate carefully. Students are terrified and scared.

Stud Girl A : Are you sure the barrier can protect us?

Stud Boy A : Don't worry, I'll fight the monster if the barrier fails.

Stud Boy B : Stop shaking your knees then.

Stud Boy A : That's because I'm extremely excited.

Stud Boy B : Okay.

Student council group members saw the familiar faces and walked toward them and talked with them.

Antony : Are you guys alright?

The group looks at the student council group and nods their heads. The brown hair boy noticed something.

Issac : Where's George?

Cecelia : We didn't find him. Oren said he will find George and neither of them had arrived.

Student council members look at each other's faces for a second. Then, communicate with eyes and the student group looks at them in confusion.

Issac : Alright then, if both of them didn't come in ten minutes, we, student council will look for them. Don't worry anymore.

Charlotte : That was more concerning in my view.

Issac : Hey, I'm one of the honoured students.

Charlotte : I'm also the princess.

Just then, teachers noticed the silhouette of someone on the buildings near the gate.

Louis : Carter, did you see someone running on the building rooftops?

Carter : Yes, they're in full black clothes and coming straight to the academy. Don't tell me...!

Christina : They're planning to fight the chimera. If I'm not wrong, it must be the famous Dark Mage hunter vigilante.

The other two teachers were shocked. The yellow hair boy noticed the sudden reactions from the teachers. He watches them and students near him look at him in confusion. Then, they turn their heads and look at the teachers as well.

*Meanwhile*

The boy stands on the nearest building's rooftop. He took out a bottle from the left side bag and lit the ripped cloth in its mouth. Then, throw the flaming bottle toward the giant monster. The bottle was smashed into pieces when it landed on the giant monster. The weird liquid from the bottle was showered on the giant monster and helped the flame reach the more area of the giant monster skin. The monster shouts in pain.
