Start of a new life

Musutafu, Japan

September 11

Musutafu General Hospital

On this bright and sunny afternoon. In this building where people were coming in and out of to be treated. In one of the rooms on the third floor of this building. Was a boy with long black hair and violet colored eyes.

The boy was resting peacefully as the gentle rays of sunlight shone on his face through the window.

A little while later the boy who was resting comfortably started to slowly open his eyes.

The first thing the boy noticed was the unfamiliar ceiling that was in front of his eyes. The next thing to catch his attention was the rays of sunlight coming from the open window.

As the boy saw the scenery going on outside. He could not help but feel this was a dream.

"Looks like I finally made it out of there" said the boy

The young boy lying on the hospital bed was Kei.

Just as Kei was wondering about what would happen to him now that he was rescued.

"Oh, looks like your awake" said a man that had just entered the room

When Kei turned his head away from the window and looked to see who it was that entered.

"So, it looks like we finally meet face to face Detective Naomasa" said Kei with a smile on his face

"Don't think he's the only one to come visit you" said another voice outside the room

When Kei saw the owner of the voice. He could not help but be surprised.

"All Might" said Kei with a stunned look on his face

"That is right kid, I am here" answered All Might

"You are probably wondering why we are both here" said Detective Naomasa

"Yeah" said Kei

Kei was still pretty shocked to see All Might. After all he knew how busy All Might was and how difficult it would be to meet him face to face.

"There are two reasons why we are here" said All Might

Kei could only nod and say alright.

"Well the first reason is to see how you were doing" Said Detective Naomasa before he continued

"As for the second reason. It is to get your statement on the battle that took place two nights ago"

When Kei heard that they needed to know what had happened before Endeavor and the other heroes showed up. Kei who was still lying in bed took a deep breath and started telling them all the details that led to that battle.

A few hours later in a building a few miles away from Musutafu General Hospital. A group of people were in the middle of meeting.

This meeting that was taking place, was about the battle which took place between the Heroes and Villains on September ninth.

The people present in this meeting were the heads of the heroes association, as well as the police Chief and other high ranking members of the police department. Aside from them the top ten heroes in the leaderboard were also present.

"Thanks to the information provided by the boy and some of the villains that were willing to talk. We have managed to clean up the filth in each of our organizations." Spoke a man in a suit

"The fact that we had so many corrupt individuals is going to be a nightmare when the press finds out" said an officer

"When they find out? You think they don't already know? We just did a full cleanup. The thing to do now is try to contain the situation and minimize the damage" Said another man in a suit

"Are you all listening to yourselves" said the police chief as he continued

"There is no covering up or minimizing the situation we are in. The only thing to do now is hold a meeting and come clean"

"The chief is right. If we try to cover it up or try to minimize the situation. it will only make us look worse" said Detective Naomasa

"Looks like we will need to hold a press conference" said on of the association heads

"I will start making calls to the press and set up a time and place" said another head

"I will join you all in the press conference and show the citizens that not only the police and association but we Heroes are also taking all of this seriously" said All Might

"Thank you, All Might. We can definitely use your support" said the police chief

Little by little the issues that plagued the people in this meeting were being settled one by one. By the end of the meeting, each person there had their own tasks to complete and immediately after leaving, went out to do their given task.

After the meeting was over All Might and Detective Naomasa headed out together to talk more in private

"This really is a mess isn't it?" asked Detective Naomasa

"Yes it is" answered All Might

As the two stayed silent. Both had several things weighing down on their minds.

"What do you think will happen to the kid now that he is an orphan?" Asked Detective Naomasa

"What else could happen. He will be sent to an orphanage and hopefully get adopted by someone" answered All Might

When Detective Naomasa heard that, he couldn't help but think of Kei.

He remembered how desperate the boy sounded when he called him. When he had heard everything from Kei abou the corruption in the force and association he found it hard to believe. But as the conversation continued he knew it couldn't be a lie. So what he did next was quickly get the information of where Kei and his parents were and how many other villains were in the hideout.

Detective Naomasa remembered when he heard Kei tell him to quickly send for help. He know that Kei was implying that the longer he took the lower the chances Kei would make it out alive that night.

When he realized this He quickly called All Might and every hero agency he knew. Luckily for him each of them answered right away. Once he quickly told the agencies the info regarding the villains. They immediately headed out to the location.

Once the battle between the heroes and villains was over. Detective Naomasa asked every hero and officer about the boy that had been there.

When he learned that Endeavor who was the first to arrive along with the members of his agency. Had one of his sidekicks leave the battlefield and take the boy to a hospital because of badly his wounds were. Detective Naomasa found out which hospital Kei was taken to and quickly made his way there.

For the first couple of hours, no one was able to enter the room Kei was in. It wasn't until the doctors finally allowed visitors to enter and he was finally able to go in that he realized just how bad a shape Kei was in.

The boy in front of him was extremely thin. It was obvious that he was constantly starved. No matter where one looked on his body. There were bruises each of different sizes and shade of purple.

Detective Naomasa who saw Kei silently resting, couldn't help but clench his fist in anger and frustration.

He wasn't the only one both All Might and Endeavor were the same. Just like Detective Naomasa both of them headed to the hospital to visit the Kei.

"Hey All Might. What do you think of me adopting the boy" said Detective Naomasa

When All Might heard this, he couldn't help but feel surprised. He looked at Detective Naomasa and said "Tsukauchi, I know you feel sorry for the boy. But don't you think that's too big a decision to make"

Detective Naomasa shook his head and said "you might be right. Part of my reason for doing this might be me feeling sorry for him"

"That's why I'm saying you shou" but before All Might could finish his sentence Detective Naomasa cut him off

Detective Naomasa then said "but a bigger part of me just wants that boy to have a home he can be happy in"

Detective Naomasa continued " and I think I can give him such a home"

Detective Naomasa looked All Might in the eye "do you think I have what it takes to give him a loving home"

All Might had known Detective Naomasa for many years now and he knew that he was an earnest, hardworking individual.

He also knew that when this friend of his made up his mind to do something he would always follow through.

All Might Smiled and said "do you even need to ask? I'm sure you can do it"

When Detective Naomasa heard that, he started to smile.

In an unknown location deep underground. Was a man in a laboratory. The man was sitting in a luxurious chair. In front of this man were several monitors each one showing different images.

The man in himself was dressed in a custom made suit. His hair was neatly combed. He had a handsome appearance and was sitting in a way that showed his strong demeanor.

Soon a man made his way to him. When the man arrived he kneeled in front of him.

"Sir there is some information that I think you need to hear" said the man to him

"Speak" said the man

"Yes sir" said the man before he continued

"Both [Chaos Dragon] and [Mad Titan] have been apprehended and are in police custody" said the man to his boss

"To think those two had been captured" said the man sitting on the chair

"How did it happen" he asked

"All we know is that the heroes found their base and quickly raided it before those two had a chance to escape" said the subordinate

" I see" said the boss before he continued

"This really is some unpleasant news to hear. After all they were the ones who supplied me with the most material that I so desperately need"

"What would you like us to do" said the subordinate

"Nothing" said the boss

"Right now they must be heavily guarded"

"So just do nothing"

"I understand" said the subordinate

"Is there anything else I should be aware of" spoke the boss

"No sir, aside from that everything else is going as planned" said the subordinate

"I see" said the boss

"If there is nothing more to report, then you may leave for now"

"Yes sir" said the subordinate before standing up to leave

Once the subordinate left. The boss who hadn't left his sight off the monitors could not help but grin

"Now that those two are no longer able to stall you" said the boss before continuing

"You will focus your entire attention on me now"

"Our day of reckoning is soon upon us"

As the boss said those words he could not help but grin even wider

"Isn't that right. One For All"

When Kei had received a visit from Detective Naomasa a few days later. He had thought that he came for follow up questions about that night.

So when Detective Naomasa asked him if he was ok with him adopting him. Kei was speechless. Never did he think that the man he had only met once would want to adopt him.

Once a few seconds past and Kei collected his thoughts. He accepted Detective Naomasa adopting him. After all Detective Naomasa was a close friend of All Might And was a very respectable member of the police force.

Finally after another week in the hospital. Kei was finally discharged to go home. As Kei got into Detective Naomasas car. He couldn't help but think to himself.

'I guess this is the start of a new life'

As Kei finished that thought, the car had started to move.

On this day. Kei would finally move forward. To reach his dream of becoming a great hero.
