Small village

The group left toward Sangju after gathering their stuff. So they made it to a villager near Sangju. Prince Lee-chang noticed something strange about the villager. They were eating and everyone was joyful. Sung-woo told the citizens that were following them to stay in the forest and wait till we called them out. Sung-woo, prince Lee-chang, Moo-young, Yeong-shin, Beom-pal and Seo-bi went into the village. The villagers finally saw Sung-woo and the group.

Yeong-shin was confused and said: that strange village is suffering and dying from famine. This village has rice and pig.

The village leader nervously said: where did your group come from?

Prince Lee-chang: where did you get all this food?

The village leader panicked and said: we got it from entertaining the governor.

Suddenly a lady came out of one of the houses, measuring herself with clean silken clothes. She then saw the strange group and felt the awkward atmosphere. She tries to hide the clothes behind her back

Beom-pal saw this and yelled: hey that silken clothes, I saw it before.

Beom-pal ran to her and caught her. He looks at the clothes and looks inside the house.

Beom-pal then came out and yelled: everything that is valuable in the boat is here.

Prince Lee-chang looked at everyone in the village and asked: care to explain?

Everyone in the village got down to their knees and the village leader said: we are sorry. At first, we didn't plan to loot anything from the boat but we were all starving. Please spare us.

The whole village fell into despair: please spare us.

Prince Lee-chang asked again: Were there any bodies on the ship?

The village leader: there wasn't anybody. They were all dead. We thought they were attacked by some wild animals.

Prince Lee-chang: where is the bodies? Did you leave them there?

The village leader answered: no, we moved the body. We were worried that wild animals would get to the body so we buried them.

Moo-young questioned: where is the bodies?

No one answered so prince Lee-chang said: you should be punished for stealing but I will lighten the punishment if we just tell us where the bodies is?

One of the villagers got up and said: we can take you there.

Sung-woo whistles loudly signaling the citizens and guards to come out of the forest. Everyone came out of the forest and stood behind the group. Sung-woo smirked at the group and looked at the men that were going to take them to the body.

Sung-woo asked: do you mind if I bring a couple of guards with us?

The men that were going to lead them to the body, got scared and dropped the tools in their hands. Sung-woo got near the man that stood up, drew his sword, and placed it next to the man's neck. The whole crowd panicked.

Prince Lee-chang questioned: Sung-woo what are you doing?

Sung-woo: they are planning to kill us when they lead us to the body.

Prince Lee-chang and the others were stunned. The group trusted Sung-woo and they drew their weapon. The villagers were shaking in fear.

Prince Lee-chang pointed his sword at the leader of the village and asked: is that true?

The village leader is confused: I don't know what is happening.

Sung-woo explained: it wasn't his plan, these men thought of the plan.

Prince Lee-chang: why would they do this?

Sung-woo looked at Beom-pal and asked: what is the punishment for stealing from royalties?

Beom-pal answered: the thieves would be executed along with anyone involved.

Prince Lee-chang sighed: I told you you would be punished but not death.

Moo-young was angered: they try to kill us they deserve to be executed now

Sung-woo put his sword away and explained more: they don't mind being executed but they are doing this to protect the children.

Prince Lee-chang starting to understand, raised his pedant and said: I'm crowned prince Lee-chang, I will pardon everyone for their mistakes but we need to get to those bodies before night falls.

The villager leader saw the pedant and exclaimed: It is the prince.

All the villagers bowed

Sung-woo looked at the sun and said: there is no time for this, bring us to body quickly or everyone here is going to be in danger.

Prince Lee-chang: Sung-woo is correct, let's get to the body and bring some fire.

The village leader brought them to the body. The group and some guards were left behind to protect everyone. They finally reach the area where they buried the body. They are in the middle of a meadow. Everyone saw the sun go down and drew their weapons.

Prince Lee-chang: we are too late

Moo-young: should we head back?

Yeong-shin: there are no point let's clear them out

Sung-woo: shit I thought we were going to make it on time.

The village leader was confused: what do you mean?

Sung-woo pulled Seo-bi and the village leader behind him: you will see

Everyone started to hear growling. The group was in a circle formation, Seo-bi, Beom-pal, and the village leader were at the center.

Sung-woo saw a zombie crawling out of its grave and rushed forward killing it. Some zombies rush from the meadows and attack the group. Yeong-shin swung his spear down killing a zombie. Prince Lee-chang and Moo-young killed any zombies that got near them.

They quickly cleared the first wave of zombies but another ran their way. When they were going to fight them a fire arrow was shot out and hit a zombie then multiple fire arrows were shot and hit the zombie killing them. The group saw a bunch of men in white scholar outfits rushing the zombie cutting off their heads.
