No progress

When time shows almost the lunchtime, I and my brother in law end the driving practice and return to home for lunch. When we arrive at home, Ming Er who already return from A Yun's place is welcoming us in the front door with her sweet smile.

"Welcome home Hubby, how's your practice?"

Well, she should know the result just by seeing my gloomy face, but still, she tries not to notice it and greet me as usual

"Not much progress, wifey"

"It's okay hubby, you maybe genius in cooking but dummy at driving. No big deal, you still my beloved hubby even though you can't drive"

She consoles me while patting my shoulder.

"Go and wash your face in bathroom hubby, and let's have lunch together. Father and mother also already return and wait for us in the dining table. I'll go and warm the curry in the kitchen first"

"Okay wifey"

Still, before I go to the bathroom she said with a low tone to me

"Hubby, don't get down, your riding skill at me still number one"

Then she runs to inside the house while giggling. Fine! Tonight I will ride you until you can't move for sure. I go to the bathroom and clean up and change my clothes first before going to the dining table. My father and mother in law already wait for me there.

"Son, what you make for lunch today?"

"I make curry, father. Ming Er still warmed it again in the kitchen"

"Curry huh? Let's have a taste then"

Meanwhile, when we waiting Ming Er comes from the kitchen with curry, my brother in law follow Ming Er to the kitchen to have some talk with her.

"Lil sis, can I have your time for a moment?"

"Sure bro, what's up?"

"Your husband….is this really his first time drive a car?"

"I don't know bro…but I guess so. he doesn't have a car or garage either in his house"

"Then I worried it will take a long time before he can actually drive the truck. His driving sense is too awful. He too concentrates on one thing and can't divide his attention for something else. Like when he concentrating on transmission, he tends to forget with gas and brake. How long you plan to stay here and let him practice? If you stay too long your business will not get started you know?"

Ming Er thinks of her brother words while stirring the curry in the stove.

"Brother, actually I only planning to stay for two-three days only. Do you have any suggestion for my husband?"

"Well, I do have one. Would you like to listen?"

"What is that bro? Tell me please"

"Take your husband to date at an amusement park. Take him to ride boom boom car or play any driving games in there and make him the one who drives. Make him had a little driving sense from playing the game. Or buy PS console and take him to play a racing game with you"

Ming Er eyes shone when hearing her brother suggestion. Yes, a date with her husband! Since she married him in a very ultra fast way, she missed the date that the couple used to have before they married. Her brother's suggestion is really good advice for her.

"Bro…that's a fantastic idea"

"You agree with that?"

"Yes!"

"When you plan to take your husband on a date?"

"We return tomorrow and I will ask him to take me out in the afternoon"

"Great. I will come to your place three days later if you ready to open your business. I come with A Yun while bringing vegetables too, and will stay in your place. You have room for us right?"

"Yes, there's one room upstairs, my hubby's room before we married and one room downstairs for his employee to rest. There's also a living room with TV and sofa"

"I'll take the downstairs room and A Yun will have the upstairs room"

"Okay bro….now, can you help me bring this curry pot to the dining table? It's hot and a bit heavy"

"Sure"

Ming Er and brother Shao He comes from the kitchen with the curry pot. The curry fragrance immediately fills the dining room when the pot lid opened.

"Hmmm…nice aroma. Let's eat!"

My father in law invites us to start lunch. Rice bowl immediately distribute to my father in law, me, my brother in law, and Ming Er by my mother in law. Then take the curry with another bowl from the pot.

"You can add some chili powder if necessary, father, if you feel this curry is not spicy enough"

"Sure, but I haven't even tasted it yet, hahaha"

My father in law starts to scoop the curry with a spoon and start eating.

"Umm…the taste just suits my like. Good curry"

"I'm glad you like it, father"

"Come, add more rice. Don't worry we have plenty of rice here hahaha"

We finished the rice in our bowl and eat until full. The curry that supposed to last until dinner was clean up and no more left in the pot. Wow, my father and mother in law's appetite really good, maybe after working hard in the farmland, they feel very hungry. But it's alright, watch them eat to their heart content also make me who cook the food feel happy.
