Chapter 3 (Right And Wrong)

It had now been three weeks since Koji had begun his training in the realm of goddess Isis.

He has gone through many hunts and has suffered death many times, all for experience, and has gotten much stronger than he was before.

But it was all at the cost of losing his identity. He doesn't exist in the world he died as a hero in. But at the same time, he still lives in that world.

It's similar to dimensional shift. What is alive is his spiritual form. Unless someone confirms his existence, he can't come back physically.

• In The Goddess's Realm*

Koji was standing on top of a giant beast-type monster with a broken blade.

"This is the fifth A grade monster I have defeated. I can't even keep the count to how many times have I suffered death, but I guess it's all for experience. I wonder if it's doing anything to me physically," he said to himself.

*POP*

The goddess arrived in an instant behind Koji.

"So you managed to defeat it too. And it took you one day this time. You're definitely improving," she said.

"Yeah. I am way better than I was before." He responded while stretching.

"So did you discover any change? Like new skills?" Isis asked.

"Skills. I have discovered them. First is…"

The fire fist. With this, he could control fire at his will. It would consume some amount of his stamina, accordingly to the power he puts on it. He acquired it after beating a flame type higher beast.

Dimension Traveler. He can teleport to places he has been before. It was given to him as a gift from the Goddess so he could train at his will.

Control over wind. He received it after defeating a phoenix. By using flames and wind, he can create pressure enough to lift him up and, in some sense, fly.

He was also gifted the skill 'mage'. A legendary skill that enables the user to control every sort of magic.

This was also a gift given by the goddess.

And the power to control water from a lower sea dragon.

"Not too back for a beginner. It nearly looks like you're cheating." Isis said as she smiled.

"For dying again and again. I think it's worth it. And I wanted to talk to you about something."

"What is it?"

"I also have this 'unknown' ability. I can't use it as it says I'm not qualified enough to use it."

"AN UNKNOWN ABILITY!?" she screamed with excitement.

"What you so excited about?" Koji asked in confusion.

"There's a legend. When a God or a Goddess chooses a student or sub coordinate, there's a slight chance when they are given an unknown ability. And throughout history, it was always an overpowered authority."

"Just how much power does it has?"

"Enough to rule over the universe."

"So a godly power. I'll make sure I get qualified enough to use it."

"Your spirit and determination is good and appreciative but how are you supposed to get qualified when I'm the only one who can see you?" she laughed.

"Oh yes, I still haven't fixed that."

"Yes, so for that, you'll be spending the next 10 days in your world. Your objective is to get someone to confirm your existence."

"How am I-"

"That's your objective, but heed this warning, the pain you'll suffer as unknown is more than your death. Now go!" Isis said as she teleported Koji back to Earth.

Koji opened his eyes and found himself on a huge building, which was the head quarters of those who were controlling the country.

"That goddess… At least she dropped me off at a good location. Now how the hell am I supposed to exists here." He said annoyingly.

Koji jumped off the building, using air, landed safely.

He looked around him, seeing if anyone noticed him but no one did.

"It's gonna be tougher than that of course." He thought.

Koji moved around and came across a mirror and was shocked to look at himself..

"HOLY SHIT WHO'S THIS HOT GUY?" he screamed.

Before dying, Koji was an ordinary skinny guy with average looks and because of that, he wasn't popular in any place.

But now all of a sudden, he turned into a super hot guy.

"WHAT THE HELL, HOW? WHEN? WHY? WHAT? WHEN DID I GOT THESE MUSCLES, THIS FACE, I'M STUFFED! That goddess is useful for once." He excitingly yelled.

After looking at him for quite some time, he decided to explore the headquarters.

He passed through the gates like air and went inside that luxurious place. It was decorated and maintained like a castle.

"No way such thing could be built back in my days."

Koji walked all around the floors, observing everything fully.

"It all seems all good but, there's no way it's this peaceful. I'll go have a look at the head staff."

Koji went to the top floors, each top floor with different boss. Their presence was the proof they were the thing.

Koji went inside the room of the first general. Muto Hisoka.

The aura got intense as he got closer.

"What am I sensing right now? It's his power? No, it's something..dirty. Its making me uncomfortable. What's this weird smell?"

When Koji got in the room, he saw the most dirty view. The general, named to live with dignity and respect to become an example for it's people was, toying with a woman.

Koji in a second jumped to punch on his face but, it passed through him.

"So this is what she said was the painful thing. I can't solve anything. All I can do is view. This is what they call a general here huh? I'll be coming back for you. I'll kill you. I swear I will." Koji said furiously and went for all the other generals.

After going through every room, all he had was a disappointed face.

All of them was corrupt and disgraceful except third General Kamiya Chieko and fifth general Shoji Atsushi.

"Screw them all… Things haven't changed a bit, THEY'RE STILL THE SAME GOD DAMNIT!" he shouted.

*BOOM*

A huge sound of explosion came from outside.

Koji went to the place at once. When he got there, he saw a medium level orc attacking a man.

"That's a mid rank orc. The old me would be trembling right now but now I can kill it in one punch. I can save him!"

Koji dashed forward and punched the orc with his fist enchanted with flames. But it passed through the orc.

Because of the recoil of the dash, before he could turn, the orc crushed the man.

"NOOOOO!" he shouted in grief.

Koji stood straight, looking at the dead corpse and seeing no response from the organization which was supposed to protect the people.

"So this is what she meant. It hurts more than dying to see someone die before you when you know you could've done something. Even now, it's do or die. I can't let myself get covered up with grief not right now when I'm so close to being a hero. I swear I'll find someone. I'll look everywhere. Observe everything and get back my existence. Nothing can stop me. I'll achieve the victory!"
