(A/N Hey, I'm back. You wont be able to get rid of me even if you wanted. Joking aside a I wont bore you with details just know that work was exhausting and private life busy but I'm not dead an seven if I was I will finish this fanfic.)

(Shirou's pov)

I walked towards the classroom together with Truck-chan in complete silence but my curiosity got better of me and asked her.

Shirou: "Hey Truck-chan, I know that you are a vehicle and all but isn't it strange to have a name after a car company?"

Truck-chan: "What do you mean? There are at least few anime characters named after a car."

Not believing her I demanded a proof.

Shirou: "Prove it."

Truck-chan: "Subaru, Natsuki Subaru."

I face palmed myself.

Shirou: "Ok, I gave that one to you but one example doesn't mean anything."

Truck-chan: "What about Honda?"

Shirou: "Huh?"

Truck-chan: "You know, Honda Tooru from Fruit Basket, Honda Gorou from Mayor and Handa from Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san."

Shirou: "Never heard of them."

Truck-chan turned her head in almost instantaneous movement.

Truck-chan: "WHAT!!? How could you not watch them?

Shirou: "I don't know or should I say I don't remember since... you know, amnesia."

Truck-chan: "Oops, I forgot."

She made a teehee pose while sticking her tongue out in a 'cutesy' manner.

Truck-chan: "When everything is over I'll let you watch them."

I widened my eyes slightly but they returned to normal immediately.

Shirou: "It would be nice."

We once again walked in complete silence but this time it was Truck-chan who broke the silence.

Truck-chan: "Now that you asked me the question it would be only fair that I ask you one too."

What she said makes sense so I'll humour her.

Shirou: "Sure, go ahead."

It seems that my answer shocked Truck-chan because she lagged for a moment.

Truck-chan: "Why do you hide your identity as Archer?"

Shirou: "There are two reasons for that actually. The first one is to protect the daily days of girls. Now that they know that Irisviel is also magus I'm the only "normal" part of our family and we both know that both Illya and especially Chloe desire that. Chloe acts 'normal' but it would be strange for her to be completely unaffected by her being sealed for 10 years. She is quite possible still unstable and I am anchor to a normal family and life she always wanted... probably, I'm not a child psychologist so i can go only by my experiences, not that I have many."

Truck-chan: "Aha... while it would make sense for any other person, I don't believe it's your real motive."

She doesn't believe me at all... and neither am I because the real reason is the second one.

Shirou: "It's true that I started worry about Chloe later on but the original reason is a little bit less noble. In the begging I just wanted to become part of 'magical' part of Rin's life so later on it would be easier for us to date since I imagined that she would have problems to drag me into the dangerous world."

Truck-chan raised her eyebrow.

Truck-chan: "But now?"

Shirou: "But now I just have fun teasing her as Archer and just imagining her suprise when I'm finally unmasked..."

I let an 'evil' smile form on my face.

Truck-chan: "...You have a terrible personality."

Shirou: "I don't want to hear that from you."

I retorted her.

Truck-chan: "But if you want to mess with her more I have an idea."

I immediately became more serious.

Shirou: "I'm listening."

Truck-chan: "So my plan goes like this..."

Truck-chan explained her plan in great details while my smile grew larger and larger with every second passed.

Shirou: "That's one hell of a plan and I like it."

Wit out plan formed we went to the classroom.

(Rin's pov)

*After school*

I couldn't focus on today's lessons at all. The only thing on my head was yesterday's date and what happened at the end. Only thinking about it makes my face turn red.

Does it mean that we are the couple now. He confessed to me but I didn't give him an answer. I'm worried that now that I didn't manage to give him an answer our relationship will become awkward and he won't have the courage to ask again. It would mean that I would be forced to ask the next time... but it's not possible for me and my personality.

*Sigh*

Why can't I be more honest.

While I was in my thoughts I noticed a purple haired girl, Sakura Matou, my only living family. Because of circumstances we have diffrent surnames and our relationship is strained but I would like to be more close to her like we were in our childhood. It won't be easy or I would say impossible since I'm almost certain that she also piles Shirou.

I tried to at least say hello but Sakura just walked past me. While I expected such outcome it didn't make it any less sad.

My thoughts were interrupted by none other than Shirou. He noticed me and started walking in my direction. I froze up on the spot but regained my focus short after. I did the only reasonable thing at the moment... and ran away from him.

Shirou while a little shocked quickly recovered and started running after me.

Shirou: "Rin, i don't think we should run in the hallways. Teachers will be mad if they catch us. If you want to play tag we can do it later."

Is he having fun? What's wrong with him? He runs after me with a big smile on his face.

While still running I answered him.

Rin: "It's not that stupid."

Shirou: "So what is it?"

Rin: "Nothing!"

Shirou: "It's obviously not nothing, just stop running and tell me why are running

Rin: "No!"

It's too embarrassing to even talk normally and he wants me to explain it to him?

Shirou: "If you don't stop I'll confess to you before the whole school."

I immediately stopped my steps and turn over to him.

Rin: "Y-you wouldn't..."

Doesn't he worry about the whole school knowing about our relationship?

Shirou: "If you're avoiding me I'll need to use methods I don't normally would use but you don't give me much choice."

Rin: "Aren't you embarrassed?"

He looked at me confused as if I said something stupid.

Shirou: "Why would I be embarrassed by liking you. You are amazing girl who is not only smart but also athletic. Your personality is also very cute besides-"

Rin: "Stop, stop, stooop!!!."

I tried to cover his mouth with my hands before anyone could hear him.

When I managed to silence him I felt his mouth turning into a smile behind my hands. He grabbed me by my waist bringing me closer to him in the process. My face was as red as a tomato but it didn't faze Shirou even one bit as he said with a gentle smile.

Shirou: "Caught you."

I tried to free myself but it was as if the strength in my arms vanished in the moment he hugged me.

Rin: "Let go of me..."

Shirou: "But you'll run away if i let go of you."

Rin: "I wont run away so just let me go."

Shirou: "You promise?"

Rin: "Yes, yes, I promise."

Shirou: "Great."

He freed me immediately without any protest.

While my face was still red I tried to compose myself.

Rin: "So, what did you want from me?"

Shirou: "I just wanted to greet my girlfriend, isn't it enough?"

Rin: "I-I didn't agree on that, s-s-stupid."

Shirou: "You didn't?"

His head dropped as if to show his despair. He really looks sad.

Rin: "I-it's not like I disagree either..."

Shirou: "Really? so you'll be my girlfriend?

He looks at me hopefully. It's as if I can't refuse him but I couldn't say yes because of combination of embarrassment and nervousness so I just nodded my head shyly.

Shirou: "Great so we are officially a couple now."

He hugged me and quickly let go.

Shirou: "See you at the beach party then."

With these words he walked away leaving me dumbfounded in the hallway.
