6.1 Blood End Part 1/2 (Prologue)

[Remnant/ 3 of November 83 A.G.W/ Forever Fall/ Crystal Cave/ Yang: 10 Years Old, 5:43 PM]

Yang lifted herself up from her meditative position as the green flames died down, in just 10 minutes her energy had fully returned, her Ki and Aura were at 100%.

Although... There was a slight problem, she discovered that as long as she had Katamashī inside her then the plant dust would attempt to force her Ki and Aura to turn into it, an incredibly wasteful process that made her shī reserves shoot upwards to an absurd 260%

Yang stretched her body as she felt her energy trying to burst out parallel thinking was the only thing keeping it inside her, but even then, sometimes, it threatened to explode from her body, uncaring wherever or not it would explode her together with it.

Katamashī, she learned, although made from both Aura and Ki could very much harm her, even if accidentally as it can be very violent when in large quantities.

Perhaps it would be better to say her body can't handle it in large quantities.

'That was a pain in the ass 3/10 would not want to do it again.'

Hoo*

Beaks hooted and flew to her shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll buy a fishing rod."

Yang answered while kicking and punching the air, testing her current strength, she could feel that she had gotten minimally stronger, well, excluding the absurd gain in strength converting Ki and Aura into Shī gave her that is.

When Shī got to a certain point it not only makes her stronger but also incredibly resilient, she couldn't test it but she has the hunch that with it attacks that would previously fatally injure her would simply harm her much like a common punch.

Not that she could use the abundant energy now as a punch might just take the cave down together with her hand, but she needed to safely dispose of the extra Shī before an unfortunate accident happens to her.

"Jeez, I do need to train Ki sensing, I don't even know my power level!"

Looking behind her at the collapsed cave entrance she could feel the energy behind it slowly go down, maybe in a day or two she'd be able to go back and train properly.

"Ok! The adventure continues Miss Beaks."

Hoo!

"Let's go!" Yang ran forward at her maximum speed leaving a trail of dust behind.

Hoooooo!!!

Beaks screamed as she struggled to hold herself on Yang's shoulder, almost falling completely as the Saiyan suddenly turned left.

"Don't be a baby, who doesn't love a small run?"

Hooo!!!

"Of course, you don't, you fly."

Yang smiled as she ran, but in her mind, she was solemn, since she arrived on Remnant, no, since she remembers there was not even a single moment where she could not feel the Ki around her, not a single moment.

But now? Now all the Ki she can sense is either hers or Miss Beaks, it is as if the area around her is... Dead, no, not dead, more like... Abandoned.

A serious expression befell her face as she continued to run, an uneasy feeling began to form in the depths of her stomach.

"Something... Is very, very wrong here."

Catching something strange in the corner of her vision she immediately stopped running.

Dust flew as her feet broke the ground she slid on, she paid no mind to it.

Looking left she saw a strange hole in the wall, approaching it to analyze it better she saw that the thing had her height and was three times thicker than her entire body, if it wasn't so big she wouldn't have noticed it

Extending her arm she walked forward, only five centimeters away from touching the wall, her fingers touched something.

Yang's eyes widened, she immediately recognized what was in front of her.

"A dust crystal, and not a normal one, a dead one."

Yang was confused, as far as she knows dust crystals are crystallized magic, if the Crystal were to be used in any way until its energy was completely spent then it would simply consume itself, in some cases, the crystal could remain but even then it would be broken, something that is not the case here.

A feeling of uneasiness permeated the cave, Miss Beaks, even while not knowing what caused it brought upon her shield, enveloping them both and the crystal.

"Thanks girl." Yang petted the owl as she thanked her.

Hoo

"I don't want to stay here either, but this crystal gives me a unique opportunity to do something I wanted to do for a looong time."

Yang concentrates, and by her will, her Ki flows through her body, entering the crystal and turning into a black/red liquid.

Her full attention was concentrated on the Crystal, and although she briefly noted her danger sense spiking while infusing the Crystal with her energy she simply ignored it.

Yang Ignored Beaks' hoots as she infused the last of her Ki into the Crystal, she had not put everything in it, just a single unit, or at least what she thinks is one.

Since coming to Forever Fall her sensing abilities have been greatly improved, and so, by taking this into account she had an idea.

By using her sensing ability and intuition she would be able to put enough ki to approximately reach a single point of battle power, making it possible for her to roughly calculate her own.

Sensing the energy inside the Crystal she now realizes that her method is far from perfect, while infusing her Ki into it she witnessed a curious phenomenon, the more Ki she put in it, the more potent it became.

One might say, isn't it obvious? Yes, it is, but the difference here is that the growth of power was not linear, but exponential.

A not-so-accurate example would be to say that 1 millimeter of her Ki in liquid form possesses a total of 1 Battle Power while 5 Millimeters possess 13.

'In other words, Ki in greater amounts amplifies itself.'

Yang's eyes widened, she finally understood it!

For years, even in her past life, she asked herself how the super Saiyan transformation worked, how a Saiyan could get 50 times more powerful out of nowhere even when their Ki was so low.

In the past, she attributed it to Anime Logic but in her current life she couldn't stop obsessing over it, was it just an anime thing? Or did it have a proper explanation? And now she finally has the answer, or at the very least the start of one.

The answer to how her race's transformation works, how the Kamehameha is able to multiply one's battle power by 2.5, how the kaioken possibly works, and how Roshi was able to destroy the moon with just 280 Battle Power.

They said they amplified their Ki but in actuality, they condensed it! By condensing one's Ki they make it so it rubbed against itself more intensely causing it to produce more energy and amplify itself even more!

And that's not even the only way she can think about, if attrition amplifies Ki then she could theoretically make her ki rub against itself without the need to condense it, amplifying it and multiplying her power, she could achieve something like the Kaioken.

Of course, it's not nearly as easy as this, no matter which body part it is in Ki is in the end the same type of energy, rubbing her Ki against itself is as hard as rubbing water against itself, it just fuses.

Her transformations should be able to do this automatically but she does not know how to.

Making it so it doesn't fuse inside her is in theory an incredibly complicated technique that can very well kill her, doing it outside the body shouldn't be as hard but inside it? She isn't nearly as capable of doing this.

She wanted to scream and tear her hair out at the now obvious answer but could only stand there with her mouth wide open.

She wanted to do nothing more than start training but... She knew it is impossible for the current her.

Emotional responses reflect on one's Ki, meaning if she tries to compress her Ki while not having mental equilibrium, and not being at peace with herself it is very possible, if not likely for her Ki to simply crush her body.

She... Can't train this way, Yang found a training method capable of making her exponentially stronger and she couldn't even use it.

She fell to her knees and entered a state of shock, almost dying, being maimed and even having her entire body broken couldn't bring her down, but the simple realization she is incapable of training a certain way is, truly, Yang Xiao-Long is a complete training freak.

Suddenly she jumped and with a determined expression clenched her hands.

"YOSHAAAA, Beaks we need to get to the surface and train Right. Now!"

Ki exploded from her body as she turned around and flew at her maximum speed leaving behind the Ki inside the crystal and almost throwing Beaks out of her shoulder.

Hooooooo!!!

The owl screamed as she unconsciously reduced the shield to only envelop her body.

"GottatrainGottatrainGottatrainGottatrainGottatrainGottatrainGottatrainGottatrainGottatrain!!!"

Yang Screamed as she flew forward not caring about the change in scenery and the various spider webs along the way.

Kikiiiiiiii!!!

"Get out of the fucking way!"

Yang slapped away the spider-like Grimm that jumped in front of her and continued to fly without paying it any mind.

Hoo!

"We already discussed this you are an owl with an unlocked aura, why are you afraid of a little speed flight?"

Hoo!!!

"Pff, pussy."

Yang busted out of another cave hole, immediately after she was hit with bright light forcing her to close her eyes, previously she used the glow of her Ki to light the way forward but now it was as if the sun was right above her.

Opening her eyes once again she looked around as she continued to fly, for a moment she felt surprised at what she was seeing.

A gigantic cave, so big its top and sides were more than two hundred meters away from her.

Unconsciously she slowed down.

All around she could see spider threads, perhaps millions of them covering the entirety of the cave, thousands of different spider-like Grimm walked around, their webs so thick she confused them for rock columns.

Some big, some small, some nightmare-inducing but this wasn't what she focused on, no, what took her attention was the dust crystals stuck on the webs, the threads connected to it emitted a glow not unlike that of the crystal they were connected with.

Yang was so distracted she did not notice a small spider falling from the air and landing perfectly on her back.

"Ack!" Feeling something biting her Yang immediately slapped the place, hearing a small crunching noise she borough her hand to her face and looked at the small spider's corpse on it.

Shaking her head she threw it away as it turned to ash, looking inside herself she did not feel any kind of poison running through her veins, but weirdly enough she felt her Ki leaking from the place where the Spider had bitten her.

Frowning she looked forward once again, seeing another hole leading upwards she flew towards it, she had no wish to fight against these spiders, she simply wanted to go back to her house and train.

Not only that but with her danger sense sending an ominous feeling toward her she thought it would be best to come back later, yes, one day she'd be back and investigate these creatures properly.

Paying no mind to the rest of the Grimm trying to reach her Yang flew inside the cave and shot a small ki blast above it, collapsing it.

Landing on the ground she looked forward with a serious expression, her danger sense continued to send an ominous feeling toward her.

Looking around she saw the walls covered in webs, curiously however there was no Grimm on them.

Walking forward she tensed, her body preparing for an enemy she could not see.

Suddenly her danger sense screeched at her from all sides, the feeling of danger was so high she immediately exploded her Ki outward.

something hit her

Feeling something to her right she punched with all her strength, just to hit a wall, breaking it into a hundred pieces and revealing another hallway behind it.

Yang's breath quickened, her danger sense had suddenly stopped. 'Something very, very wrong is going on.'

Had she scared it off? No, Grimm feel no fear, if she scared it off then it wasn't a Grimm to begin with, in that case... What was it?

"Beaks, cover me with your shield."

.

.

.

.

.

.

"Beaks?" Looking at her shoulder Yang momentarily froze, panic gripped her mind as she began to frantically look around.

"Beaks?! Where are you?! BEAKS?!"

BEAKS*

BEAKS*

Beaks*

beaks*

beaks*

Her voice echoed through the cave as her panic grew, the light of her Ki seemed to die down as the darkness of the cave began to approach her.

She might not know Beaks for much time but that Owl is her friend goddam it! She doesn't know how ordinary people make friends but if someone fights together with her in a death battle then she is damm sure that person is her friend! Especially if this same person saved her life thrice over!

And that's no way in hell she'll ever abandon a friend of hers like this! She might be willing to do horrible things in the name of strength, survival, and protecting her family but betraying a friend like that is not one of them.

Hoo!

Hearing Beaks' hoot Yang immediately shot forward, not caring whatsoever about the darkness surrounding her she flew with all her strength toward her friend's voice all the while not asking herself why she felt nothing with her senses.

She had a hint about what kind of Grimm could have done this but even if it were to be a chill all she would have to do is beat it out of Beaks' body.

"I'M COMING BEAKS, HOLD ON!"

Hoo!

"Don't Let it touch you!"

Little dragon, be careful!

A weird buzz sounded in her ears.

Turning a corner Yang's heat quickened, in front of her, right at the center of the spacious hall what could only be described as a ball of smoking darkness floated just above the ground, dust crystals of all colors surrounded the gigantic place giving it light, but still around the... thing on the center of the room, no light dared to get close.

Not giving her a chance to react the thing shot itself toward her.

Widening her eyes Yang punched forward, trying to hit the thing advancing toward her.

It did nothing, her fist passed through the small ball of darkness as if it wasn't even there.

Her heart sped up, she tried to back down but it was already too late, whatever the thing was passed through her chest directly into her heart, and for a moment, she thought she would die.

The fairy tale 'The Grimm Child' described Chills as incorporeal Grimm that could kill anyone and possess their body with but one touch, she didn't know why she could see its body but in the end, it didn't matter, one hit and it will be over.

Fortunately, her heart did not stop, but something much, much weirder happened.

A sensation of weakness took hold of her, her legs lost all strength as she fell to the ground, a sense of utter exhaustion washed over her.

Her head hurt, her veins pulsed, her bones felt like jelly and she felt like puking, amidst her weakened state, she heard steps behind her.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the weaker me."

Yang froze as she heard the weirdly similar voice, for one moment, without knowing why, a sensation of dread passed through her, struggling with herself she managed to turn around, only to come face to face with... Herself?

"What's up, Monkey got your tongue?" She, no, an older version of her said in a mocking tone, a version of her that looked... Perfect.

"Although, I can't really call you a monkey anymore can I? Shaved Butt." The... thing in front of her said in contempt.

Yang didn't answer, she was too struck to do so, the woman in front of her is... she is the exact image of everything she wants to be.

Wild blonde hair unmistakable from that of a Super Saiyan, pulpless green eyes, golden eyebrows, a mature face, muscular body, a Saiyan armor, and most important of all, a golden tail moving side to side.

It was a cruel joke, everything she wanted to achieve, right in front of her while her pathetic form couldn't even muster the strength to get up.

But that was not the reason she was shocked, no, the real reason is that she could feel the older woman's Ki, it was almost identical to hers, so much so she could confuse the woman for her sister.

"Wha... Who?" Yang asked as she struggled to get up.

"Who am I, well..." The golden-haired yang moved closer with her hands in her pockets she stopped centimeters in front of the downed Saiyan girl and kicked her in the stomach.

The attack was so powerful it managed to deform Yang's stomach, pushing it into her back and violently sending her flying back with a strong shockwave.

"I AM THE BETTER VERSION OF YOU OF COURSE!"

Yang's body tumbled and tumbled as she was thrown dozens of meters away, only stopping after her body hit the ground many times, reducing her speed.

"GHACK!" Yang vomited blood as she held her abdomen, somehow, even after feeling the pain on her spine the woman's feet didn't go through her body.

WAKE UP LITTLE DRAGON

Her ears buzzed with a hissing sound.

But in the end, it didn't matter whether it did or not, the agonizing pain of having her intestines crushed surpassed any other she had ever felt, in her current form she couldn't do anything but hold herself in a fetal position.

She felt pathetic.

Maybe... maybe if the Chill hadn't weakened her so much she'd be able to fight against whatever that... Woman is.

"Are you serious?" The thing asked with a mocking tone.

"Ha...hahahaHAHAHAHAHA!!!" The woman burst out in maniacal laughter, only to suddenly dash forward and stomp her head.

She had no time to react as the feeling of her bones shattering assaulted her mind.

THIS ISN'T REAL LITTLE DRAGON WAKE UP!

"I AM THE ONE WHO SAVED YOU YOU STUPID BITCH!" The thing screamed in rage as it sank her head deeper into the ground.

Not that Yang could feel it, that hit cracked her skull with such force she can't see or feel much of anything now.

"Oh for fucks sake, you really are pathetic, to almost die with just a kick, I'm glad I finally separated from you, and call me Saiyang, at least your puns are good, maybe the only thing that is in fact."

Saiyang grabbed Yang by the arm and put her open palm on her head, as she did so a green glow covered her hand, and started rapidly healing Yang's injuries.

When she felt it was enough Saiyang threw her back, making her almost fall again.

Yang violently shook her head and looked at her doppelganger, without any wait she powered up, fighting against the feeling of constant weakness she exploded her Ki outward, weirdly enough her danger sense stopped working.

Not for one moment did she believe she was safe, her intuition screamed at her something very wrong was going on.

"What are you?! And where is Beaks?!" Yang screamed as rage began to take hold of her, curiously enough she felt much less anger than she expected.

"Tch, didn't you hear me the first time? Then allow me to repeat myself, I. Am. The. Better. Version. Of. You."

Yang growled."Stop fucking around, as If I'd ever believe that! That chill attacked me and you appeared not a second later, I'm not dumb you fucker, so I'll ask again, what are you and where's beaks?!"

Saiyang put her hand on her face and gave a tired sigh.

"You are an idiot so I'll explain in a way you can understand." Saiyang dashed forward with a serious expression.

Seeing this Yang tried to defend herself but her doppelganger was too fast, in less than a second Saiyang got close and punched her face with such force her bones broke in contact.

"I. Am. You!"

Bones broke as she was thrown back through the air, this time however her enemy would not give her time to react.

"I had to be," Saiyang muttered as she watched Yang fly away.

From one moment to the other, she was flying through the air, and then, suddenly she felt something hitting her chest, immediately after her body shot toward the ground breaking it and sinking her even further into it.

"That chill would have Killed us if I hadn't acted you stupid fuck, I am tired of you piggybacking off me and REFUSING TO STOP BEING SO PATHETIC!"

"H-how?" Yang weakly asked.

Saiyang crouched down and looked directly at Yang's weak eyes.

"My semblance of course." Yang's heart spiked as she felt her body freeze, a horrible realization started to come upon her.

False feelings little dragon, these thoughts do not belong to you.

Her brain hurt.

"Oh, yes, you do understand, 2 years ago, YOU stole MY body!" Saiyang held Yang by the shirt and violently threw her away, not having any strength left all Yang could do was use her arms to block her face while falling and tumbling through the ground.

Finally stopping after some seconds Yang coughed more blood and gathered her strength to speak while trying to get up.

With a serious tone, she opened her mouth "I. Stole. Nothing and you certainly aren't Yang Xiao-Long, I am."

yes little dragon! fight back!

Slowly Saiyang walked forward.

"Ohhh you didn't~? Then can you please explain WHY I HAVE BEEN STUCK INSIDE YOUR MIND FOR TWO YEARS?!"

Saiyag appeared in front o Yang and punched her face, this time however she held her shirt as to force her to stay in place.

"YOU STOLE MY LIFE!" She punched.

You didn't

"YOU STOLE MY FAMILY!" She punched again.

She did not.

"YOU STOLE MY FUTURE!!!" And again, this one broke Yang's nose and threw her back, the shirt being ripped off after not being able to resist.

All her words are lies

Yang fell to the ground, too weak to do anything she only managed to turn around to face the... woman that beat her.

Seeing this Saiyand snorted with a face full of contempt.

"But honestly, it doesn't matter, I don't care about those bastards anymore, not after they couldn't even notice someone stole their daughter's body, no, what I do care about is this body, this power, MY power, the one you have been relying on all this time."

Yang tried to lift herself with her shaking arms, but fell after a single moment, even still she opened her mouth, she would not be talked down by... Whatever that thing is.

Yes

"You... are not Yang Xiao-Long, I am, I reincarnated on this world and remembered MY past life, there was no one besides me in that body, my aura guaranteed it."

Yang took a deep breath her lungs failing her.

"My strength is only mine, I trained and fought for every scrap of it, you cannot say it doesn't belong to me, maybe you can say this life should not have been mine, maybe you can say I should not have gained this second chance but you sure as hell can't say my strength is not my own, no one in this damn planet can," Yang answered with a trembling voice.

Yes Little Dragon!

Saiyang laughed even more before screaming in anger and kicking Yang's stomach.

"Oh, YOUR aura guaranteed it? The same Aura that locked me up inside my own body so I could move around like you were me? That aura?!" Saiyang grabbed Yang's hair and slammed her head on the ground.

Bringing her up by the hair Saiyang looked her directly in the eyes as if mocking her words.

"And oh, sure, your power, don't make me laugh." Saiyang spat on Yang's face.

"You know, in the beginning, I was just an innocent little girl, crying because a thief stole MY life, but then, things changed, weeks passed my tears ran down and I couldn't cry out anymore, but then I saw your memories."

A feeling of dread shot up Yang's spine.

"And what a wonderful thing they were, a whole new world, so many interesting things to see, well... Excluding your pathetic life that is."

lies.

A buzzing sound entered Yang's ears, she held back the impulse to hit her head

"I saw many, many things, experienced them too, but what really took my attention was a small little thing called Dragon Ball, more specifically the Saiyans, their cruelty, their ability to simply not care about anything but themselves."

"In my state of misery, I couldn't stop those thoughts from creeping into my mind, I wanted that, I wanted to be a Saiyan In body and mind"

Saiyang laughed even more as if remembering a fond memory.

"Your soul and mind would eventually overwhelm me you know, so to save myself I needed to be part of you, and I knew exactly what I wanted to be."

Yang's eyes widened.

"Oh yes! I am the reason why you never had those evil thoughts so common in Saiyan infants, the cruelty, sadistic pleasure, and wish for destruction, You didn't feel it because it was all me, it all belonged to me."

Saiyang threw her to the side and began to walk in circles, Yang's confused mind could not properly process what the older woman was saying.

"This body belonged to me, this Saiyan bloodline belonged to me, not you, I know of your thoughts you know, 'Yang Xiao-Long is a combination of Faunus, Human, and Saiyan' right?"

yes, and you will never change that, disgusting spider.

Saiyang frowned but soon turned her eyes to Yang once again.

"WRONG! Yang Xiao-Long is a Saiyan, a TRUE Saiyan, YOU on the other hand is just A. Fuckinh. Human, a pathetic little thing that can't even gain strength without relying on me!"

"That's why you came here, why you became so angry at losing MY TAIL to a child! Because you knew how truly PATHETIC YOR ARE!"

"But you couldn't accept it, could you? No, you knew your human side wouldn't help, couldn't help against the future, so you came here to this forest not to let out some steam but to abuse MY zenkai to gain more power because YOU couldn't even defend yourself FROM A CHILD."

"AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

Saiyang formed and threw a gigantic ki ball from her right hand, the thing flew rapidly through the air and exploded in a gigantic green sphere, destroying everything around it.

Its power was so overwhelming the crater it created formed a perfect circle as everything that touched it disintegrated.

Yang froze in place, her maximum power could with much difficulty do the same but she had the impression the older woman didn't put much of her power behind it.

Defeated Yang let her head hit the ground and said: "I don't understand."

Saiyang turned toward her and sighed.

"Let me explain it to you like you were a baby, my aura was already unlocked, and years stuck inside my own body made it so my soul changed, resentment and rage controlled me, fuelled and twisted by the instincts of a warrior race that was enslaved by a tyrant, with it, so did my Semblance, [Unchained] a power that allows me to be free of anything."

"But, by itself, it could not make me regain my body, no, for that I needed a breach.

Yang's eyes widened once more.

"Yes, when you lost my tail I had the perfect chance to act, one that only got better as you explored parallel thinking."

"After two years you finally gave me an opening to act, with that technique I could finally get closer to your conscious mind and with this proximity, I could act with more impunity, it was all me, I was the one sensing danger, I was your instincts screaming at you to move, I was your subconscious mind."

Saiyang bean to walk around once more.

"That rage you felt after losing My tail? It was me, I couldn't take it any longer, to lose such a powerful tool in such a ridiculous way? My rage exploded in a mere moment, and it affected you, didn't it? It took some months but in the end, you crumbled after feeling my hate, thinking it was yours."

"It was all part of the plan, the more you trusted those 'instincts' the more you would rely on them, finally that chill allowed me to find a breach and use my semblance [Freedom] to escape."

"But I didn't want to just be a mass of incorporeal aura moving around the world like a ghost, no I wanted my body back, that chill gave me the perfect chance, the moment it entered your body I used my semblance, freed myself and used my incorporeal form to possess that Grimm."

Saiyang laughed.

"What you see before you is merely an energy construct, one with all that rightfully belongs to me, after all when I separated myself from you I took everything that belonged to me on the way out."

Yang forced herself to look up at Saiyang's face, tears rolled down her eyes as an obscure realization began to form in her mind.

"No."

"Yeeesss~" Saiyang smiled statistically.

"To survive inside your mind I had to become your Saiyan side, no, not your Saiyan side MY Saiyan side, every time you used my advantages you just made me stronger, all those zenkais, all those techniques made with my instinctual understanding of Ki, all come from me."

"Not only that but I also trained there you know, all that rage was more than enough to achieve super saiyan, a calm environment, and a kind soul my ass, all I needed was my hate and the knowledge you'd steal even more of what belongs to me if I didn't achieve it first."

Saiyang's expression became even more that of disdain as she looked at Yang's downed form, she wanted the girl to say something but it was clear she wouldn't.

"Your power level was a measly 58 when you entered the forest, with MY power it became a whopping 167, in other words, you Yang, are a leech, a leech that drained me for my power, my abilities, and my instincts."

"When I left I let you keep everything you rightfully trainer for, a measly 36 power level with some pathetic techniques, I took the rest of course."

"167 minus 36 equals 131 multiplied by 500 equals 65.500, you never had a chance."

Yang lowered her head a sense of defeat and acceptance gripped her heart with a powerful intensity as her mind replayed everything the supposed original said to her.

She stole the original's body, forcing her to become part of what she was, forcing her to change, to become 100% of her Saiyan side, the little girl turned from a cheerful child to a sociopath under the influence of her Saiyan instincts, something... something that she was well in the way of becoming.

If what she is saying is true then... Then that would mean even in this life she couldn't do anything right, that this... Is not her second chance given by a higher power, but a way to torment someone.

Get away from her!

The girl was right, she's just a leech, a miserable person who only brings more misery to others, she couldn't even get strong without relying on a single side of her while at the same time trying to reject it.

All her power, all her strength, came from her, what would she do if she was a simple human? Nothing, she wouldn't be able to do anything, her past life proved how useless she is, and this one just proved that no matter what, everything she does, will always end in misery, even being reborn didn't change that.

You know this isn't true little dragon.

Tears fell down her eyes, a powerful feeling of sadness pressed on her, her intuition tried to tell her something, she ignored it.

She'd never be able to change anything, all that time trying to make everything better, taking care of Ruby, training, finding a job, creating DustTube, at the end of it all, it was all useless, it served for nothing besides feeding her mind with the illusion she could ever change.

THIS ISN'T TRUE LITTLE DRAGON SNAP OUT OF IT, SHE'S MA-

She's right, she should just let the original take over.

NO!

Yang's ear buzzed.

'At least this time stop being a selfish piece of garbage and think of others, with her in control she'll be able to get much more powerful in a much shorter amount of time, look at her, she's already a super saiyan, and you? You couldn't even reach 50 battle power after two years, just... Give up and let someone who actually knows what they are doing take over.'

Don't. Give. Up.

Saiyang smiled, with shining teeth she approached Yang's form and warped her fingers around her neck, the human girl didn't resist, no, she started to think about what she had planned, it all started with a single question.

What makes a Saiyan truly powerful? Their transformations? Instincts? Affinities? No, while all those things make a Saiyan powerful none of them come even close to the true reason why their kind brought fear to all who met them.

What truly made Saiyans powerful is the Zenkai Boost.

You are not just a Saiyan, you are more than just that, I know it, and you do too.

For example, after Vegeta's first fight against Goku he received a Zenkai boost that borough him from 18.000 to 24.000, why is this specific number important? Simple, 24.000 was the exact power level of Goku after using KaioKen.

Meaning a Saiyan's body feels the pain, the impact, and the power of the greatest threat present and when recuperating it tries to match it, does that mean that a Saiyan that has 10.000 of power will be able to reach one with 1.000.000?

Well, it depends on two things, first if the Saiyan has enough latent potential, and second, if they have enough S-cells.

Broly for example, an absolute monster was able to evolve during the fight, not needing to recuperate to receive the boost and even obtaining the super Saiyan transformation after mere minutes.

But this is not the most impressive thing about him no, what is truly impressive about Broly is his Ikari Form, a form where he gets 10x stronger without the need to transform into a great ape, why is this so impressive you might ask? Simple, after he transforms into a Super Saiyan 1 instead of getting only 50 times stronger, he gets 500 times more powerful, a bigger increase than even Super Saiyan 3.

This, Yang believes is the way to obtain the legendary Super Saiyan Transformation, she believes that after attaining Ikari and reaching Super Saiyan 3 she will instead gain the green variant, multiplying her power by 4.000 times.

She also believes Ikari is the Key to obtaining a variation of the Zenkai, one that instead of activating after surviving and recuperating allows one to evolve DURING the fight, in other words, she wants to transform herself into a Broly-like type of Saiyan.

But why? Why does she want to get such power?

In Yang's mind the true "Villain" of Remnant, the true threat that if not stopped will destroy everything is not Salem, not the woman that Killed Sumer Rose and most likely tortured her with experiments trying to create new Grimm, no, the true "Villain" of this World are the Brother Gods.

Man children that would kill an entire planet just because a bunch of idiots got a little bit too confident and then break the moon as a way to slam the door like a goddam teenager.

And then one has the gall to demand of a single man that did nothing wrong to unite the entirety of humanity, all the millions, maybe billions of unique individuals with their own lives thoughts, and feelings.

They needed to die, but she didn't believe for one second that Remnant had the necessary challenges for her to reach an acceptable level of power.

Even worse if her theory on Salem's curse is correct then that would mean the gods have the ability to manipulate Reality, something she'll only be able to defend against if she gains magic or god ki itself.

Of course, her plan depends completely on whether or not she has Enough S-Cells to reach that level, but then again as far as she knows there are two ways to increase the S-Cells on her body, the first is to live in a gentle environment, she is... Taking steps towards arriving at that, the second method is to have a gentle spirit.

Something she at least believes, no, believed she had, even though she cursed like a sailor in her mind and truly only trusts her sister to the point she'd reveal her past life if asked to she is still thought herself a gentle person.

But the past is the past, and she lost the ability to lie to herself a long while ago.

You are Kind little dragon, believe in yourself, just like I do.

She heard a small voice.

It wasn't just about the tail it was about the future she NEEDS her tail to save the world, to save her family, to save RUBY most of all from a corrupted woman who could only be described as a monstrous abomination and two Gods that can very well destroy souls if they feel like it.

You do not need it little dragon.

That boy possibly doomed the entirety of Remnant because his parents taught him to hate faunus, this is why she is so angry, so reckless to the point she'd throw herself at a forest infested with Grimm.

Being a Saiyan or not you would still try to save this world little one.

Because if she doesn't do that, if she doesn't bet her life on every fight, if she doesn't abuse the Zenkai by fighting to near death EVERYTHING will be lost, and Yang Xiao-long is tired of it, she already lived one lifetime full of loss, she doesn't want to lose anything anymore.

I raised you little one, your life did not start when you were eight.

She lost her mother in BOTH lives, 2 died, 1 after she knew her for 16 years, and the other was killed before she could even know her properly, and the third? Well, it would hurt less if she had died too, at least this way she wouldn't know how little she mattered to her.

At least she gave her a hint she still cares whether or not she lives.

The small child that dreamed of beating Grimm and rescuing princesses on castles is still there I Know It.

A familiar voice entered her ears as her confusion began to dissipate.

And to keep what is precious to her Yang needs to become stronger, ironically she abuses her biology to achieve this while at the same time this same biology is slowly turning her into a psychopath, turning her into what a Saiyan truly is.

A monster capable of killing entire civilizations more advanced than Remnant and Earth combined by themselves, ripping apart all the Billions of lives inside that planet, not caring for the mangled corpses be they of men, women, children, or animals, only caring about how much of a challenge each fight will be, about how strong they will become.

If Yang Xiao-Long does not manage to take control of her Saiyan instinct, everything that is precious to her will be destroyed long before either Salem or the Brother Gods have even a chance to do so themselves.

You are not like this little dragon.

But even then, her other side is still her... Right? She wouldn't harm Ruby or her family for the fun of it, would she?

"Bah! Of course, I won't, a bunch of weaklings that don't deserve any attention, just give up, you shouldn't be here anyways, you should have died like the worthless human you are."

"But it is ok, I will help you, after you die I will train, train and fight until there are no longer enemies to fight, I will kill those so-called gods, torture that woman for what she did, and just as a bonus I'll use everything you remember to get even more powerful and protect those pieces of shit you call a family."

"After all even if I don't care whatever they live or die they were my family in the first place, not yours, body snatcher."

Hear my voice.

Yang weakly lifted her hand, trying to reach whatever was talking to her, something that caused her counterpart to get even more enraged.

"The strength of a warrior is found in her coldness, her brutality, she should highlight her talent, destroy her weakness, and you are just that, a small, annoying, weakness!"

No!

Saiyang slammed her head on the ground, Yang was powerless to stop it, the more her other side talked the more she found it hard to fight.

It wasn't something deep inside her, no, Yang Knew it to be true, she is the weak link, all these feelings, attachments and morality only served to hold her back.

They make you stronger little dragon, just as they made me, don't believe her!

Her other side, the original managed to become so strong even while being stuck inside her head, and she didn't manage to do even one-tenth of what she did even while using her power.

Strength left her as she stopped resisting, the pain faded away as her counterpart slammed her on the ground and warped her hands on her neck.

There was no doubt, she would die today, and... this will replace her.

DON'T LET HER WIN!

Looking at the cruel smile on the face of her other side Yang was unable to feel any anger, this, is what she wanted to become, a warrior powerful enough, talented enough to destroy all her enemies.

Her death will make her other side stronger, just as both of them wanted, her other side has a tail, she has not, her other side can transform into a super saiyan, she cannot, her other side can dismiss ridiculous things like family, loyalty, morality, and attachments, she, not even while influenced by her Saiyan side could ever hope to do the same.

And for that, you will always be better than her.

Hands tightened on her neck as she started to feel her breath leaving her, she ignored it.

In other words, she is the perfect warrior, one that only cares about strength, and will do anything to achieve it.

With the knowledge gained by watching all of Dragon Ball, her other side will be able to get stronger absurdly quickly, surpassing any creature in this pathetic world.

Yang's eyes felt heavy, her heart began to slow down.

'Heh, maybe she'll even manage to reach Super Saiyan 4, contrary to me she can transform into an Oozaru, for her replicating Vegeta's blutz wave technique shouldn't be hard.'

The pain in her neck faded as dark spots began to appear in her vision.

LITTLE DRAGON DON'T GIVE UP!

Suddenly she heard... something, a voice, a very small one, a familiar one, one that she had heard before...

'Wait, she... Promised to not harm my family, and even if cruel I know for a fact I would never break a promise made to myself but... How will she be able to control the golden Oozaru?'

Yang's eyes widened, seeing this her counterpart used more force trying desperately to crush her neck, blue particles of light impeded her from doing anything further.

Yes, focus on me, she lies little dragon, don't believe her!

'Goku was able to control it by remembering his family and Vegeta was simply hit with an absurd amount of Blutz Waves and acted quickly to control his transformation.'

Her heart began to beat faster.

'But, I'm not a genius, I can't create something capable of making Blutz Waves, only make a technique able to do the same, and my other side, although not evil, is undoubtedly animalistic.'

The dark spots began to disappear from her mind, above her she could see her counterpart wearing a struggling expression on her face, blue particles floated randomly in the air.

"JUST GIVE UP ALREADY!"

She felt something trying to press her down, she did not move.

She lied, she is not my daughter, you are little dragon, no matter who you were in a life past, hear this truth, I was always here little one, and there was never anyone else besides you and me.

'She... Lied, she'll never be able to control the golden oozaru, and in her failure, Remnant will pay.'

You are my daughter.

Something burned inside her.

Yang looked at her counterpart, fear and apprehension gripped her heart, she... Doesn't want to die, she fears death, she has never stopped doing so.

Blue particles began to flow through her body, with a Strength not hers, with a will not hers, she gripped her counterpart's arm and pushed it out of her.

"CAN'T YOU SEE THIS IS FOR THE BEST?!"

It is not.

With narrowed eyes Yang slowly lifted herself, a power not hers helping all the while, much like before she felt hands on her back, pushing her forward, the feeling of weakness had long since left her.

Glaring at her doppelganger she tightened her hold on its hands, and with a serious tone of voice, she spoke.

"Perhaps, perhaps letting this side of me take over would be the best decision, perhaps abandoning my selfish desire to have a family in this life is the wisest decision."

It is not, don't destroy yourself for the sake of others little dragon.

"YES, YES! YOU SEE IT TOO DON'T YOU? YOU ARE A WEAKNESS, A CURSE INFLIDGED ON THIS SAIYAN BODY, WHY ARE YOU RESISTING?! DO YOU NOT WISH FOR REMANT TO BE SAVED FROM THE GODS?! DON'T YOU WISH RUBY CAN LIVE HAPPILY WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT ANYTHING?!"

Her doppelganger spoke, her blonde hair slowly receding as her aura died down.

You deserve a happy life too.

"Yes," Yang answered calmly, blue sparks floating around her form. "I do wish for these things, and I would gladly give up my Ego for such a thing to happen, but then again, you aren't me are you?"

No.

Saiyang froze but quickly came back to herself. "O-of course I'm not you dumbass didn't you hear anything I said?!" The doppelganger's body began to wither away, its eyes turned black as blood began to pour from its mouth.

Yang gripped the thing's arm tighter, a spectral blue aura surrounded her as the illusion began to fade, once again her danger sense flared proving without a doubt it didn't belong to whatever is in front of her.

With a smile on her face, Yang spoke.

"I gotta admit, seeing those ridiculous scenes where the protagonist falls into an obvious illusion made me underestimate such abilities, but you are good."

Yang's wounds rapidly healed, if she had to describe it it would be like time reversed itself around them.

"Capable of making hyper-realistic illusions, manipulating emotions and even pain, I commend you, truly, it was an amazing illusion."

The monster desperately tried to free itself, it screamed and attacked with its feet, it was useless, Yang did not move.

"There's no way I would have fallen for that little act of yours otherwise, no way for me to give up so easily, the first thing I made after arriving here was to make sure I didn't replace an 8-year-old after all had I been alone it would have undoubtedly worked but..."

Yang crushed the thing's arm as the blue aura around her intensified.

"You fucked up, perhaps if I were in the real world it would have taken time for me to realize it, but here? Inside my mind? No, up here I'm finally able to hear her voice."

Yang's smile widened.

"I might have not realized it myself but since the fight against that Beringel I was never alone, so I thank you, for making me finally realize this."

Yang gave an honest smile, she was truly happy and thankful for what the monster in front of her had done, in her mind both her lives can be described with a simple word, Loss, losing her family, her life, her emotions, and now, almost losing her Ego.

Loss although bad is undoubtedly something that shaped her to be the person she is today, Loss, and fear, two words so important that they define who she is, and so, her soul reflected it, her semblance, powered by the fusion of two Energies became something Remnant itself had only seen at the age of Gods.

But at the same time, it was born out of a desperate feeling all living beings have once felt, the wish to gain back what was once lost.

[Return] Yang Xiao-Long's Semblance allows her to regain what she once lost, be it objects, body parts, feelings, thoughts energy, or even... People.

More importantly, her semblance allowed her to regain her sense of reality, hence allowing her to realize one very important thing, nothing she saw after entering that hole was real.

"She never stopped looking after me."

Yang pulled her arm back, as she did so blue specs of light solidified behind her forming the image of a hooded woman.

The spectral figure smiled, moving her arm she held it parallelly to Yang's own, blue wisps of light connected them as they overlapped each other.

An unnatural strength flowed through Yang, her Aura and Ki exploded around her as power flowed through her fist, for a single moment she felt as if she had the strength to destroy mountains.

With enraged expressions, they screamed, two voices overlapped as both used all their strength and punched forward.

"DON'T TOUCH MY DAUGHTER, YOU BASTARD!"

"DON'T MESS AROUND WITH MY MIND YOU FUCKER!"

Her fist hit the faker's face, and the world shattered.

Her vision twisted and turned, shards of a false reality flew randomly through the air, the last thing she saw was a familiar woman smiling down at her, tears running down her obscured face.

"I am so proud of you, my little dragon."

[Remnant/ 3 of November 83 A.G.W/ Forever Fall/ Spider's den/ Yang: 10 Years Old, 5:59 PM]

RAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Yang's eyes shot open as a not-so-distant roar echoed through the cave.

Looking at the sound's direction she saw what she could only describe as a gigantic Grimm Spider, at least its bottom half that is.

The creature thrashed around as if trying to rip something out of its body, its roar seemed more like one of pain than anger.

Not wasting any time Yang advanced toward the beast, her mind wanting to do nothing else but kill it, or at least she tried to, her entire body barely moved as something forcibly pushed her back, looking back she tried to see what was behind her.

When she did so her expression turned sour, she was stuck in a gigantic web, her entire back was perfectly glued in it, impeding her from moving an inch.

Using her Ki she tried again, only to fail as she noticed her reserves almost emptied, concentrating she noticed the same with her aura, although there was more of it than Ki it was still a small amount, maybe 7 to 9% of her total capacity.

Eyes widening in realization Yang looked at the gigantic grimm once again, and just as she feared she felt her energy inside it.

Hoo!

Her head snapped to the side as she heard a familiar hoot, a smile came to her face as she finally saw Miss Beaks safe and sound.

"Beaks!" Yang shouted in happiness, relief washed over her as she felt the exhilaration of seeing her friend once again.

Hoo!!

Arf!

With a confused expression, Yang turned to look at the weird sound coming from her left, her eyes widened as her mouth opened to form a shocked expression.

There, suck on the webs was the unmistakable form of a small dog pup, or as Yang knows it, Zwei.

Arf! Arf!

The dog barked, uncaring about his situation, or perhaps it was too dumb to realize it, seeing this Yang smiled from ear to ear.

"Who's a good boy, yes you are yes you areeee~ Ah, your name is Zwei now and I'm taking you home." Yang talked in a baby voice, the Spider Grimm going to the back of her mind.

ARF!

Zwei barked happily as his tail wagged behind him.

RAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

The sudden roar made Yang come back to reality, with a serious face she looked around, and after some seconds, she found what she was looking for.

Using her semblance she opened her palm and brought Bodement to her hand.

Hesitating for one second she firmed herself and with some struggle detached and opened the scabbard's cylinder, taking its lid off she violently infused her Ki and aura on a small part of the fire dust crystal, not three seconds later the entirety of the scabbard exploded.

BOOOOMMMM!

Ignoring the pain Yang quickly ripped herself out of the web as it burned away, the thing could absorb energy and so she saw no other option but to explode various types of dust as to overwhelm its ability and destroy it to escape, although...

Yang looked at her arm, the gauntlet had protected her from most of the explosion but by itself it was not able to resist, now, there were only shards remaining.

"And on my right hand too, for fucks sake, I hope mom won't be too pissed about this, and thinking about it I should probably learn the clothes beam."

Nodding to herself she looked forward and observed the Spider Grimm trash around in what could only be pain, inside its body she could feel Ki and Aura being consumed to form... Something similar to Shī.

Taking advantage of the situation she flew up and freed both Beaks and Zwei, crouching down she spoke with them both.

"Beaks I need you to form a shield around You and Zwei and get away from here."

HOO!

ARF!

Both firmly protested her decision, Zwei moat likely only copied Beaks, the little guy probably didn't have a single thought inside his mind, seeing this she only laughed.

"Relax, relax I'll just use a big attack to finish that thing off, the Dust crystals nearby might just explode when I do that though so I want you both close to my escape route and with that shield up just in case, got it?"

Hoo?

Arf?

Yang looked at herself her body was thin, extremely so in fact, the spider had absorbed much of her aura and ki before she woke up, one minute more and she surely would have died, not only that but it also seemed to have attacked her in her downed form as patches of purple skin and bleeding wounds spread throughout her body.

Her form seemed so weak one might say a simple gust of wind might knock her over, others would say her standing up is already a miracle in itself, both would be right.

Yang smiled and pointed towards herself.

"Hehe, you don't think I'll go fighting like this do you? Just observe."

Yang lifted herself and closed her eyes, as she did so a white aura with sharp blue edges exploded from her form.

Her hair grew and grew until it reached her waist, the previous smooth hair turning sharp and spiked much like that of a Saiyan's, on her back an ethereal blue tail surged and began to wiggle without rhythm.

From black her hair turned into a light blue and white color, her wounds began to heal as her body started to grow and grow, muscles expanded, bones elongated and her face turned more mature, in only ten seconds she turned from a child to a young adult.

She felt her power increase dramatically as she opened her eyes breathing calmly she realized the true power of her new transformation.

Contrary to either Oozaru or Super Saiyan this form did not multiply her power, but in her mind, she thought its ability might, just might be the strongest one she will ever have, or at the very least, the most useful.

She could feel what it was capable of, instincts, not of the body, but the soul whispered to her, telling her of its secrets, she did not find it weird, no, if she had to describe it, it would be like she could no longer lie or hide anything from herself.

°£^£√÷`×¥°℅\¢€£π{`^™™′°

For as long as she possessed Aura this form will continuously recharge her Ki to its full power, if she loses a limb as long as it wasn't completely destroyed she would be able to regenerate it, looking at her newest tail she smiled, for some reason the medics couldn't reattach it but she didn't give up and instead guarded it inside a cold container in case they somehow managed to find a way.

The blue tail she currently has is only a projection but she has the feeling that if she tries to connect her real one while transformed it will stay this time.

Unfortunately, it seemed like she didn't have the ability to make Katamashī or transform Ki into Aura while in this form, meaning there would be no way for her to truly have an infinite amount of energy.

She could feel it, in this form her ability to absorb energy is improved exponentially, considering she couldn't do it before the improvement became truly absurd.

With her white/blue eyes reminiscent of the Byakugan she could see slight energy wisps through the world, she saw as both Ki and Dust energy flowed through the air.

She will name it, Phantasmal Saiyan, briefly she wondered just how powerful she is, her inability to quantify her Power Level is by far her most ha-

243 Little dragon.

Yang froze like a deer in the headlight.

'Mom?' Yang asked but received no answer, forcing her disappointment down she clenched her hands and looked at the Spider Grimm in front of her.

Her expression contorted into one of shock and confusion at what she saw, the gigantic Grimm screamed, not roared, no, it screamed as hundreds of Grimm swarmed it, biting its body, injecting it with venom, and ripping chunks of it off.

The bigger creature screamed as it ripped its smaller counterparts to shreds, spitting acid mist and webs to incapacitate its attackers, it did nothing to put even a dent in the horde of smaller Grimm.

Yang's heart beat faster, even while being swarmed the creature managed to fight against hundreds of other Grimm, she wanted to fight it, to beat it, to see how far the creature could bring her, but she knows she can't.

She has a home to go back to, and friends to bring to safety, she'll be dammed if her thirst for battle ends up harming those she cares about.

'It's funny, even after everything that happened I still have that annoying childlike innocence, who the hell just looks at a 16-meter monstrosity like that and thinks how fun it will be to fight it?'

Yang started to power up, her muscles began to grow as her power level increased, now with a better understanding of Ki and her semblance granted transformation allowing her to never lose control of her Ki she could use her muscular form to its maximum potential and double her power level.

The cave began to shake as her power level grew, veins popped up on her arms as her clothes struggled to contain her form, with a mighty scream she finally managed to power up to her maximum capacity.

"OHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
PL= 243 >>> 486
The air rippled as her scream echoed through the cave, rock, and web were both destroyed as her voice broke anything it touched.

Including the small Grimm nearby who were instantly destroyed after but a mere moment of being hit by the shockwave.

The gigantic spider immediately turned in her direction, now able to fully see its body Yang understood why it was being attacked by its brethren.

Disgusting tentacles wiggled randomly throughout the creature's body as blood flowed freely from its mouth, bones snapped and broke while being forced to leave its body, all the while pieces of meat randomly surfaced and were brought back inside it.

AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

A horrible stench hit her nose as the creature screamed in what seemed to be both anger and desperation, hate filled its eyes as it looked at her form, but... this time it was different.

Yang had felt the hate Grimm threw at her, from them it felt more like a generalized type, as if they hated what she represents but... this one... this one is different, more personal.

The ground shook once more as the gigantic Grimm sped up toward her, with a serious and somewhat pitiful expression Yang opened her palm and started gathering energy, in her mind she started to think of what had happened to it.

The creature most likely had the ability to absorb energy and did so with both her ki and aura, a grave mistake.

Ki and Aura by themselves would pose no threat to it, but together? Inside a body not living and without soul? For a Grimm that became a deadly combination.

As far as Yang was able to understand, while training Ruby she came to the conclusion that the residents of Remnant all have Ki and the ability to use it, the problem is that they unconsciously transform their Ki into Aura which does allow them to be massively stronger than normal but still far weaker than what they would be if they simply used Ki.

It was extremely hard for Ruby to stop her Ki from doing that and even harder for her to tap into it separately, weirdly enough they couldn't make Katmshī this way, something probably related to their souls.

Such a thing however is not the case for Grimm, they do not have souls, and as such cannot stop the fusion between Aura and Ki, for any other living creature this would not be a problem, but for the creatures of Grimm? this was a death sentence.

Ki is the light of the Body, and Aura the Light of the soul, together they can be described as the essential components of any creature in the universe, the materials of which life itself is made of.

In a living creature, these energies would simply strengthen them, in a Grimm? A creature better described as Anti-Life and destruction given form? These energies would attempt to create what is not there.

Organs, bones, and limbs were created without rhythm or sense inside the gigantic Grimm the essential energy of Life, Katamshī became wild and violent as it attempted to create life inside something that was never meant to have it, without the guiding hand of a Kai this energy could do nothing but create an abomination.

And it showed in Yang's senses, with the Spider Grimm gaining what could only be described as a twisted form of life it also gained Ki to match it, her senses alone could feel the creature's power level almost being twice as that of hers.

In a normal situation, this would be an extremely difficult fight, but a single thing makes it so her victory is all but assured.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

The creature's body consumed itself as its black sludge attempted to destroy the life inside it, bringing immense pain, its newly born soul and mind could not comprehend why it was suffering, but it blamed her for it.

Had this... unexpected reaction not occurred the creature's power level would reach the thousands.

And for this, it needed to die, Yang understands it, it is either her or it, she fully understands that, even still, the hesitation she felt as her Ki began to reach its peak did not fade.

She had no problem Killing Grimm, they were monsters, creatures born only for destruction, but this... felt much like killing a child, or perhaps a slave forced to fight against its will.

She could feel the creature's Ki twisting in on itself, as a reflection of its body she could see it was in pain, it was confused, angry, and most of all it suffered, worse yet, it would suffer as long as it lived.

Other people would not understand it, her adventures in the forest made her more sensible towards Ki, making it so she could, if only barely, feel what someone else is feeling, and at the moment she can feel all the pain and rage the creature in front of her is feeling.

She could no longer feel that child-like excitement at the prospect of facing a powerful opponent, and neither could she feel the uncaring coldness of her Saiyan instincts, all she can feel now is a deep sense of hesitation and pity.

She did not use her Semblance to regain her calm, she wants to feel what she is about to do, to engrave it in her memory that perhaps, no, that she will have to go against her morals to achieve her objectives.

She steeled her heart, independently of what she does today, or what she needs to do in the future, she will do her best to try and stay true to herself.

With a deep voice devoid of any hesitation, she spoke, her mature voice, a result of her new form made it so she only seemed more grim.

"I am sorry for what happened to you."

The Grimm ignored her voice and simply kept running toward her, seeing this Beaks could not hold herself any longer, flying to Yang's shoulder she used all her power to conjure a shield in front of them.

"And most of all I am sorry about what I must do."

Rocks began to levitate as sparks of red and black energy began to appear around her.

"Had there been another way I would have done it, you were given no choice in your creation, born without a mind and with the only objective to bring misery and destruction everywhere you go."

The Grimm slashed the shield as its red eyes began to glow with unnatural intensity.

Yang slowly brought her arms in front of her.

"So I do not ask your forgiveness for what I am about to do, for me to live, for me to save this world of the monsters that torment it, you must die."

A yellow sphere of ki formed at the center of her palms, sparks of energy violently cracked as it did so, unconsciously Yang gave small parts of her Ki to Beaks.

"But go to the Otherworld knowing this, I will destroy all the Grimm on this World, and after I do, the cruel God who cursed your kind to such a fate, Will. Be. Next."

Her Ki finally reached its peak as slight tremors began to appear around her, with a sad tone and a pitiful expression, Yang said her parting words.

"Perhaps one day you will come back as... as a new being, and when you do I hope you get to see the wonderful world I have created, when that day comes, you will not know suffering, farewell, I'll see you later."

Yang smiled as Miss Beaks brought down her shield, immediately after the gigantic Grimm was upon them, claws ready to cut them in pieces, with a calm voice she shouted the name of her attack.

"Final Flash."

A gigantic yellow wave of energy shot out of her arm, consuming the entirety of the creature in front of her, but not killing it.

The Ki wave hit the Grimm with maximum force, but did not pass through it, no, it forced the creature back, desperately the creature sunk its legs on the ground as it slowed down the wave, even in its weakened state it was a powerful being.

Yang only gave a tired sigh at the result, even after what she said she could not bring herself to do it, her Ki answers to her will, and a part of her, a big one, does not wish to kill the creature, even while knowing it was suffering, even while knowing she could not do anything to save it, she still couldn't bring herself to kill it.

In her mind, the creature was not guilty of anything, and hence, even if it wished for her death, it was innocent.

Both of her lives did not prepare her for this, much to the contrary, they made it harder, she was taught to value life by two truly kind women, both of whom worked to save everyone they could, and both who died while doing so.

Her Saiyan side? It's not like she can automatically turn to it, besides she has no wish to become an unfeeling psychopath, even if temporarily.

Who is she lying to? She doesn't have the will to go against her principles, even that boy couldn't make her snap, the same boy who possibly doomed Remnant couldn't make her take the life of another sentient being, much less an innocent one at that.

Little Dragon

Suddenly, everything slowed down, time seemed to stop as a familiar voice entered her ears.

I... do not wish for you to have to take your first life, not this way, not ever to be honest.

Yang felt a hand grip her left shoulder as her Ki blast dragged the Spider Grimm away in slow motion.

For you to be a child, no, for you to keep being one, to keep having the innocence of one...

She felt two hands envelop her own, in the back of her mind she noticed that her aura was not being consumed.

Let me do it for you.

Ki exploded from her hands as her attack expanded drastically, from a light yellow it became a crimson red, immediately after her Ki wave passed through the gigantic Grimm, ripping every cell of its body apart and finally reducing it to ashes.

The beam did not stop, it kept going, destroying everything in its path.

Eyes wide open Yang looked as her Ki wave dissipated, in front of her there was nothing but a path of destruction, one that she could not see the end of.

She could not move her eyes away as she saw the last remnants of the spider Grimm vanishing, her expression shifted to one of hesitation, confusion, and guilt, a sense of melancholy took hold of her as tears began to form on the side of her eyes.

She did not know why she was crying, she wasn't the one who killed the Grimm, she... Wasn't the one who did it.

'But then again, I'm also the one who didn't save it am I right?'

In the back of her mind, she felt something, no, someone receding.

ARF!

Zwei suddenly jumped at her throwing her body down and starting to lick her face, reacting quickly Yang took the pup in her hands and lifted herself up, looking to the side she was only able to see blue wisps of light dying down and disappearing.

Hoo!

Miss Beaks landed on her shoulder once again after falling down not two seconds earlier.

"Yeah yeah, I lo-"

Boom!

Hearing something Yang quickly put the small pup below her arm and shot upwards, taking advantage of her transformation she gave both Beaks and Zwei the maximum amount of Ki their bodies could hold.

Hooooooo!!!!

Aaaaaaarrf!!!

Both animals screamed as she shot up, breaking the ground below and hearing straight to the ceiling with no cave holes in sight.

"BEAKS COVER ME WITH YOUR SHIELD IN A SPEAR SHAPE, NOW!"

The small owl immediately complied, using the Ki granted to her she made a cone shaped shield around them.

With a serious expression Yang accelerated even more, breaking through the ceiling and continuing going up with no signs of stopping.

BOOM!

It was not enough, she could hear the explosions nearing her, the violent energy coming closer and closer, if it reached them, they would undoubtedly die.

"BEAKS SHIELD US!"

Not waiting for the owl's response she broke through the ceiling, just in time for the owl to create the shield.

In mere seconds she broke through hundreds of meters of soil, but still, it wasn't enough, she could feel and hear the explosions getting closer and closer.

BOOM! BOOM!! BOMM!!! BOMM!!!!

Giving up her idea of outrunning it Yang formed a spherical shield around them, seeing this Beaks did the same and braced herself, Zwei simply kept his ears down due to the annoyingly loud sound.

Yang immediately reinforced her shield while at the same time transferring some of her ki to both Zwei and Beaks.

BOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!

The fire of the explosions finally caught up to them, hitting the shield with maximum force and propelling them even faster up, as it did do all three of them hit the back of the shield due to the sheer force of the impact.

Both Beaks and Yang felt it, the shield would not hold it for much longer, both began to desperately search for solutions when suddenly, everything went quiet.

"Eh?"

Hoo?

ARF!

Both could no longer feel any stain on the shield, but even so, they sent more and more energy to it until it was fully repaired.

Giving sighs of relief they slowly turned to look at Zwei, they didn't know why but they had a feeling it was the pup's fault, they just needed to answer a simple question first, how?

The answer is simple, Zwei, a complete and utterly oblivious dog who cares very little, or perhaps dumb enough not to realize anything about the dangerous situations he finds himself in.

When he accidentally unlocked his aura his semblance came upon him immediately [Ignoramus] allows the small pup to ignore anyone and anything he doesn't like, making these things unable to harm, or interact with him in any way.

The only problem is... He is an idiot, a complete and utter moron who isn't able to differentiate the claw of a Beowulf from a tree stick.

Luckily for Yang, the small pup does not like loud noises and so, his semblance activated.

The change was obvious instantly, for both Yang and Beaks they could no longer feel the strain the explosion caused on their shield, the sound of rocks breaking and explosions coming closer ceased in but a moment.

For a moment all three looked at the explosions just outside the bubble, a sense of wonder took hold of them as they looked at all the different colors shifting.

Green, Blue, Red, Brow, Purple and many other colors moved wildly forming random shapes and beautiful sceneries, if Yang had to describe it she would say it resembled the beauty of chaos.

And then, they broke through the ground, behind them dozens of acres of land exploded breaking the ground into thousands of pieces and throwing rocks hundreds of meters into the air.

Had they been able to hear anything Yang, Beaks, and Zwei would have realized the gigantic sound most surely reached the city of Vale, unfortunately for them they simply continued to look marvelously at the sky.

So much so that Zwei forgot completely of nothing else, resulting in his semblance deactivating, causing the energy bubble around them to collapse.

"Eh?"

Hoo?

ARF!

They fell immediately, the only good thing was that the explosion propelled them away from the broken soil allowing them to fall toward a mostly intact part of the forest.

Yang readied herself to fly, only to fail completely as her Phantasmal transformation and Muscular form receded transforming her back into her 10-year-old self.

It was at that moment she realized something, her returned Ki only stays with her when she's using her semblance or her transformation.

"You couldn't have told me this sooneeeeeer?!"

Yang screamed as she fell directly to the ground, had her body not been slowly reinforced with her Healing technique she would possess more than just skin-deep scratches.

"Aaaaagh." Yang moaned in pain as she slowly lifted herself, looking around she saw Beaks stuck in a tree branch and Zwei pissing on one bush.

Standing up she looked at herself, her body was back to normal, this time however she didn't look like a skeleton with flesh glued to it, her wounds also did not return, although she could feel their pain so perhaps they only returned a certain percentage compared to before.

Using her Ki sense she was able to tell the Ki she gave to both Beaks and Zwei stayed with them.

"BEAKS! ZWEI! LETS GO!"

Hoo!

Arf!

Both immediately answered and ran toward her, giving a tired sigh Yang smiled and began to walk toward the high concentration of Dust energy in the forest, she wanted to try to find a Plant type Dust Crystal to heal herself and fly towards patch.

Merely ten steps in her Danger sense screeched at her, the loudest it had since falling to the cave.

Snapping her head to the side yang saw what made her danger sense flare, her body froze for a second as she felt her blood run cold.

In front of her, just below another cave entrance was a Grimm pool, but this isn't what made her so afraid, no, what did it was the sphere of concentrated Grimm essence floating above it, being fed more and more of the black substance by the pool below it.
