Returning to the kingdom (part 2)

"My lord" the king bowed down with a sweaty face even though he was old, it seemed like if he made any wrong he would be killed by this young figure.

"Hmm.... where is that female knight named jonete," the young man asked as casually walked past the bowing king and sat down on the throne.

"s-she went on a mission....but she has not yet arrived" the king replied stammering, this was the reason why he wanted to kill jonete the young man in his presence had taken quite a liking to her and if she was in their possession there is no doubt that she would become a great asset.

"oh is that so" the young man stood up and then walked toward the king the king trembled.

Why was the king so shaken? Who was this young man to make the king bow to him? the young man in front of him was a demon general.

In this world, there were 38 demon generals in total who worked under the five heavenly kings and this man was one of the demon generals.

"When I visit here again and you tell me she's not around, I will use your head as a sacrifice for wasting my time," the young demon general said in a loud voice as he then walks past the king who had felt a warm liquid go down his leg, he had pissed himself from too much fear.

'w-why did this have to happen?, all because of her I will kill her even if that's the last thing I do the king thought as he had made up his mind even if this demon were to kill him he would not let them have her.

Meanwhile, Jagger and May were now back with the group of young knights it seemed that Jagger had a skill called gate which he could use to go to places he had been to before now they were heading straight for the kingdom.

May was being questioned by the other students about how she managed to carry the luggage behind her of course they were talking about Jagger but what they didn't know was that he was the one who had carried the luggage.

"hmm look at that smug look on his face let me wipe it off" a boy with blonde hair went to meet Jagger who was having a "hard time" carrying the luggage that was for his group's tent, actually he was busy on his system's interface that was why he was moving slowly.

"Hey" Jagger who was busy on his own was interrupted by the blonde-haired boy as he looked at the boy with anger in his eyes "what do you want," Jagger asked in a voice that didn't care who he was as the blonde haired boy was shaken by Jagger's behavior "i-i am Eric son of Steven Rose who is a viscount and may I know you" the blonde haired boy stammered before proudly announcing his family and their nobility rank.

"what his father is Steven Rose"

"Woah Mr. Steven rose is one of the top holy knights"

"although his father's rank is not that high"

Jagger could hear the students murmur among themselves and guessed that his father was well known but upon hearing the last person he almost burst into laughter.

"I am Jagger sonnet a commoner," Jagger said giving a simple answer which made Eric almost want to go mad 'this filthy commoner dares to talk to me do casually' Eric stood while the whole group went ahead as the commoner he was talking to followed suit.

"look at that commoner talking so casually"

"I hate people like that, who even brought him here"

"he should just stay away from me"

May who was with the girl's group ahead heard all that was going on and her blood boiled but she couldn't do anything as it may cause suspicion.

"hey May you and the princess be good friends, right? If so please when we get to the academy could you introduce me to her" a cute blacked-haired girl asked May as other girls were also asking her question.?

"Freya you know I won't do that so why ask me," May said replying to the cute girl with black hair while not answering the others.

"hey, May" Freya called out to May who seemed to be looking back at the boys continuously "don't tell me you like him," Freya said talking to May who immediately blushed "w-who are you talking about," May asked with a red face.

"Who else Eric of course," Freya said teasingly but almost immediately May's face turned into one of disgust but she didn't let Freya see her face.

"Why would you think that," May asked as she managed to hide the look of disgust on her face but the same thing couldn't be said for her voice as it sounded as though she was irritated "why the sudden change of tone you've been looking at him all this time," Freya said as she was confused.

While Jagger was being insulted and May was being interrogated the king was in his throne room when a guard immediately barged in "your Majesty" the guard kneels as he bows his head down "what is it" the king said in a slightly annoyed manner "it is about the young knights your majesty" when the king heard this he was a little happy as he would at least get good news "carry on" the king said "the young knights have been spotted not too far from the kingdom and the boy you were expecting to be killed is...." the guard paused not wanting to finish his statement "what happened to continue" the king said "the boy is alive" the guard said as the king who had wanted to hear a bit of good news was no on the throne looking at the guard like a hollow shell "WHAT?" the king shouts "he is alive?" but the guard that was there was nowhere to be seen as though he knew the king would lash out on him.

'why? why is all this happening one of them must die!" the king screams in his mind, Jagger had not caused any problem for him but since he was a mystery that jonete brought he decided he had no use for him but now that both plans had failed he had made them targets that he must kill even if it costs his life that was what he promised himself.
