When the door opened everyone looked back at the holy knight and the girl.
Almost immediately a noble stood up "who dares to bring a peasant into the palace hall have they manners?" the noble asked as he shouted it was true she looked like a peasant due to her torn clothes but the noble stopped almost immediately after noticing that nobody sided with him, he knew this noble and some of their crimes so why would there have pity on a normal peasant girl but upon looking at the king's throne he noticed he had an unpleasant look on his face as the noble quickly took his sit once again.
"Sorry to keep you all waiting I had some guests which were not expected but we are happy about their arrival," the king said as the girl approached forward with the holy knights.
When they had reached the king's throne in the hall they knelt to greet him but the little girl didn't she weirdly looked at him before looking back at all the people there but her eyes soon stopped on a particular spot and it was the table where the passing students who were going into the academy were currently seated.
"b-brother?" the girl looked towards that direction as she ran, she then stopped close to Eric but she was pushed back by him still she tried to stand up but Eric stopped her and said "you filth how dare you try to pass me, I don't care if you're a little child I'll teach you a lesson," Eric said as he raised his hand but it didn't move again he tried moving it but he couldn't he looked at his back only to find a commoner.
"you how dare you" Eric shouts at the girl who held his hand "i-i am s-sorry but it wasn't right to raise your hand on the girl" the girl who was around Eric's age replied stammering.
She was just a commoner who got a scholarship into the academy because she had talent but having talent was rough for a girl like her who hated fighting 'good she used her mana' Eric thought as he breathes calmly he thought she was stronger than him
"Brother!" the girl said as she walked past the two of them and went to a white-haired boy who was seemingly enjoying what was going on, when he saw how that girl was pushed it made his blood boil but when the girl who saved her was being shouted at he couldn't care less.
When everyone in the hall saw this they had disgusted looks on their faces as they murmured, the king tried his best to act calm and keep the look of disgust.
"brother," the girl said standing in front of Jagger 'why don't I have hostile feelings towards this girl' Jagger thought but his question was answered surprisingly 'this girl is half vampire and half human this is my first time seeing such a case, vampires gradually lose feeling and emotion but not towards your fellow vampire and the reason for that is still unknown.'
when Eric saw Jagger with the little girl he seemed to be very angry.
He held his palm out and a large fireball formed as the fire went forward it quickly dispersed 'what! did they use artifacts to stop that?' Eric thought as beads of sweat were on his face.

Slamming his fist on the handle of the chair the king's voice echoes in the hall "enough" the king said staring at the people making a ruckus in the hall.
"We are here to celebrate the children passing into the academy are we not? so let's forget all about our past troubles and enjoy ourselves" the king said as food and drinks were now being served on tables.
'is it okay for children to drink that?' Jagger thought to himself but his question got answered again 'yes it is, naturally in this world children are adults at the age of 15 so now it is a way of preparing them for adulthood, do you not know of this rule?' Herma answered his question by asking him another one.
'in this world' Jagger picked up a point from what Herma said 'hey Herma do you have a skill that let's you read my mind?' Jagger asked 'no I can't I can only hear the thoughts of the questions you want answered' she replied.
Everyone on the table was eating except for Jagger who had his sister sit on his lap as she ate happily 'Herma I thought vampire can't eat human food?' Jagger asked suprised as he could still remember when he tried to eat it.
'Half vampires have unique traits that a full vampire can't have but when it comes to using the vampiric power full vampires are the strongest and I guess what were seeing Is one of those traits also you can eat human food if you have poison resistance since it is considered poison' when Jagger heard her explanation he was pissed off if it was as easy as buying poison resistance why didn't she tell him.
