The First Quest (Part 4)

Using the [Trick] that were used by Zenon as his [Prism Sword] vanished and in exchange, it was replaced by a blue orb that is moving at his will.

With the information of Zenon he got as he activated his [First Style] were: [Globe of the Blue Sky].

In this [Style], he can produce numerous blue orbs, he can speed it up, bind it, slow it down and he can destroy it to the extent that he can use it to an attack, divided, soften it, hardens it and use it as a restriction method to his opponents and as a shield to him too, a single attack can be lethal. But the disadvantage of this, is that, his [Prism Sword] will vanish while using this [Style]. As of now, with the current power of Zenon, he can control four main orbs.

After the explosion causes by the attack of Zenon, the snake who received all of it immediately died as its body is really torn apart where its body is now full of holes after the attack.

When May saw that, her eyes really widens as she can't believe that Zenon single handedly kill such a low-tier monster all by himself at the beginning of their journey.

He kill it with a single attack! Even my attack on that thing is hardly working but he uses that blue orb, divided it and use it to attack that serpent. So is this how strong a [Monarch Candidate]...? I know this is our first time doing a quest but killing such a monster without any experience is astonishing, if this is the new-born [Monarch Candidate] then how much stronger he will become in the future?... It's truly terrifying to think of.

Zenon fiercely looks down at the snake with his glowing yellow eyes while panting afte he attacked the serpent. Seeing that the low-tier monster is finally dead he jumped off to his orb and cancel his magic that ultimately revealed his sword.

The disadvantage of my [Armas] is when I activate my [Style] my sword will disappear because we can't violate the Laws created by Bathala. I'm not sure if my other [Styles] are like this. I think I need to by another sword just in case—

"—Zenon... that was amazing. So that's your [First Style], huh... it's certainly powerful." May said interrupting Zenon's thinking as she runs towards him while holding her rifle.

"Yeah it sure is. Anyway, let's finish the job now." Zenon as he shifted his gaze towards the tree that contains the [Black Flower] they needed for the [Quest].

Luckily, the dead body of the snake makes a away from them almost there to the small island of the lagoon so they just jump as they use the body as a bridge for the island.

Seeing the small tree that has the same height as Zenon, they immediately takes out a pouch and pick the flowers and put there.

"Nice! We're done here. I'll call Ross and tell them we found it." Zenon said.

"Sure." May replied.

Hearing that, Zenon takes out his small [Phone] as it floats right infront of him and he taps the number of Ross... Minutes have passed but still no answer.

Why isn't he answering? it's been five minutes but nothing.

"Why? What's wrong?" May said as she finally finishes the flower picking of the [Black Flower] at the tree.

"They are not answering! I tried to call Adam, Bryle and Ross but nothing. No one answered—"

But before Zenon could even finish his sentence, May immediately runs towards the entrance where Zenon just instinctively followed her.

"It's not that they are not answering our calls, something must've happened bad to them. We need to find them immediately." May said while running.

[20 minutes before Zenon calls]

"Well, well... now that I managed to separate the [Monarch Candidate] with you I can now finally eliminate you... Adam."

As the light manage to reaches the mysterious man's face, the eyes of Adam widens as the familiar face of Erwal greeted him.

"E-e-Erwal? W-what are you doing here?!" Adam nervously said as if his body is moving on it's own to step back.

"Sigh... When I couldn't find you when I last attack you I thought of a place where you will surely be. So i go to the Guild] and there I found you but your with the [Monarch Candidate] at that time plus there are many people watching so I waited and followed you all here. Then I commanded Rey to make the ceiling collapse to separate you with the [Monarch Candidate] and it did. So i now is the perfect time to execute you along with those punny rugrats too." Erwal said while giving off a sadistic and arrogant look towards Adam.

When Ross and Bryle heard that, they instantly pull their [Armas] to their modified quiver and prepared for a battle. But before that Ross get closer to trembling Adam and asked.

"I'm sure you know this man, so I won't ask about your history with him and based on your actions you're totally scared of him. But as the Leader of this [Party], you're my responsibility and you're under my protection." Ross said as he step infront of Adam and wielded his two dagger to defend themselves.

"Yeah... we're a [Party] right? We fight together, win together and lose together. I know we just met today and did our first [Quest] but you're not alone anymore." Bryle said as he smile looking at Adam whose eyes are filled with terror as tears.

When Adam heard that, he held his head high and takes out his [Armas] and readied himself to fight against Erwal.

This is no time to get scared, Adam. Just like Bryle said I'm not alone anymore. I need to fight this fear now.

*Clap. Clap. Clap*

"Small pep-talk? Well that won't change the results anyway. Let's begin the 3v5 fight." Erwal said as he takes out his Twinblade from his modified quiver. Thus, Erwal's [Party] also takes out their [Armas] too—a wooden staff with a small orb at the tip who is being wielded by Siera, a wand who is being wielded by Rody, a spear who is being wielded by Shul and a thick sword by Rey.

"Let the massacre begin! You all four handle the two, I'll personally handle that Adam!" As he pointed one of his Twinblade to Adam.

When the [Party] heard that, they immediately rush towards them.

[Erwal-Art Twinblade Style: First Style: Lunatic Cuts]

Two huge slashes of [Mana] comes out from his Twinblade that created a cross that is rushing towards [Ross' Party]. When Adam saw that he muster his courage to tell his [Party Members] and says:

"Can you guys handle the others? I'll handle Erwal alone. I promise I'll be cautious." Adam said.

With their trust to Adam, Ross and Bryle look at each other and nods to agree that Adam will take care of Erwal by himself. Then, they rush towards the other to fight against them making the fight 2v1 and Erwal vs Adam.

"Let's see Adam how you can defend yourself against my attack!" Erwal said while mocking Adam.

Right after when Zenon became a [Monarch Candidate], he inspired to become stronger. I may not be like him but I will do my best to do what I think is right.

[Adam-Art Virgo Bow Style: First Style: Blazing Fire Hound]

A flame-like is produced as a form of a arrow that he immediately let go to intercept the attack of Erwal. When the arrow is out of the bow, it suddenly formed like a hound dog that is running at the air that ultimately blocked the attack.

*BOOOOOM*

A huge explosion is heard when the two attack met each other but the Ross and Bryle didn't falter and just focus on their fight.

[Ross-Art Shadow Style: First Style: Lightless Moon Steps]

The first [Style] of Ross isn't for attack but mostly on defense and survival. It allows him to move at the shadow at incredible speed and since they are at the cave where he instantly disable his [Light] from his [Phone] he's blending at the shadow of the cave.

"What the?! It feels like he melted in the shadow!" Rody said while on guard on his sight.

"It's hard to trace him." Shul said while looking everywhere.

While watching over the surroundings, Rody and Shul left themselves open that Ross uses to attack. He suddenly emerges from the shadow and tries to cut them. But with the great senses of Shul, he uses a wind to make their body move.

They sensed that? My first [Style] is different for the others, it's more in defense and my battle specialty is [Guerilla Warfare]. I need to make an opening.

On Bryle's side, he's clashing with Rey's thick sword while Siera is giving him a support at the rear. With the speciality of Bryle as a tank in battle, having Siera is a great disadvantage for him.

I need to do something to make that mage stop.

[Bryle-Art Fireworks Style: First Style: Shooting Santa]

Then the blade of the axe of Bryle sudden glow and shines so he instantly swung it and a slash of blue [Mana]. Then Rey saw that and immediately step back and grabbed Siera to defend him. They easily dodge the attack that made him think that Bryle isn't big of a deal.

He attack but it's slow compared to my speed.

As he move, he look at Bryle who is giving off a smirk at them while pointing at something. When he look at the direction where Bryle is pointing, he saw the slash of [Mana] that Bryle produce.

What? What's he's deal is there something special about it? Wait could it be... No!

"Too late!"

[Trick: Santa's Gift]

The slash of [Mana] suddenly burst into many different pieces that tracks them at enormous speed. So Rey while holding Siera is running at the attack of Bryle who is following them at extreme speed.

"I know that my attack is slow compared to you. But the more fast you are my [Santa's Gift] will match that and attack you." Bryle said.
