Garden of Doom (Part 4)

The wind is blowing through the forest as the leaves are falling from the stems of the branches of the tall trees.

The loud sound of the baboons are surrounding the area of Zenon and the two people who needed help. Fear engulf the two as Zenon just casually blocked the attack with a high parry like it's just like a wind passing by.

By the devastating impact of the attack made the smaller baboons to flew over the distance but the who people pierced their weapons to the ground to act as a post for them to hold on.

Zenon fiercely look inside the forest where he can sense that a monster that is waiting for them. One of the instinct of a predator is to wait for its prey to be vulnerable so it can attack with ease.

But that didn't happen as the predator predicted.

This flow of [Mana] is just like the serpent inside the cave. But I can sense that this thing is even more dangerous. What should I do? Intercept it? But if I do that these two will be left open... arghh I have mo choice.

Zenon take a slight step back and stated his words.

"Can you two still run? I'm going to fight that thing inside the forest but when I do that you will be left open. So right now, I advise you to run. As in right now. RUN!"

Without hesitation, they run, their instinct as a hunter kicks in that they are just burdens to the [Monarch Candidate].

"We wish you good luck." They both said while running.

When they are finally out of the area near Zenon, he takes a deep breath on how he's going to handle such number of monster but his face is not showing it.

I guess I just have to remove the small fries first.

*Step. Whoosh*

Zenon take a single step forward and positioned himself like a samurai while holding his [Prism Sword].

*Unsheathe*

He unsheathe his sword and swings it at a tremendous speed making that there are many slashes of blades that ultimately cuts some trees but more importantly killed the smaller baboons around him as if their body just exploded just like balloons.

It's still a mystery to me why I can use this kind of swordsmanship. Even May and the others told me that they can't even see my arms swinging but countless slashed are made with a single swing. It's deadly and dangerous... as an [Adventurer] it is a very good thing that I have this kind of ability to fight.

*Growl. Growl*

While waiting for the monster that is hiding inside the forest, Zenon can now finally hear loud footsteps like a huge thing is walking right ahead of him.

Based on its foot steps... it's definitely huge.

It continuously sound while Zenon is now keeping his guards up for the upcoming attack but... the footsteps suddenly stopped. The only sound that Zenon cam hear is the sounds of the plants dancing against with the strong wind.

He heighten his senses and finally he sensed the monster but his eyes suddenly widens as his great senses read that the monster is in the air.

*Whoosh*

Alpha suddenly appeared right above him with his fist glowing in red. Sensing that, he immediately jumped away from his spot that made him escape the attack.

When the fist of the alpha reaches the ground, it exploded and created a small crater with just the impact.

"He's strong! He's probably stronger than the serpent but—"

While in the air, he used one of the flying rocks caused by the attack of the alpha on the ground making flying in the air. He uses that as a foothold to support himself to use that and jumped directly towards the Alpha.

With the animal instinct if the alpha who is much larger that Zenon notices his approach so he instantly attempting to swing his hairy and hard arm to attack Zenon.

He immediately notices the arm of the Alpha so he instantly altered his body that makes him landed on the arm of the Alpha with his two feet.

They stop and theirs eyes met each other and Zenon can see deep and immeasurable rage and bloodlust towards him.

Then when a small rock hits the ground and created a small sounds, just like a gun in a race, they started to move again but not to run but to attack each other.

Zenon immediately kicked the Alpha to its head that makes it absorb the force that makes it move.

"—but that doesn't mean I can't defeat you!"

Without wasting any second, right after he landed, he rush towards the Alpha who now lost its balance to simply attack him with the great opportunity.

"You're wide open!" Zenon said.

He raises his swords to do a frontal attack but when he's clearly near the alpha, he faces Zenon with an opened mouth filled with charged [Mana].

Damnit! He uses his own body as a bait to make me loose guard to attack!

*BLAST. BOOOOOM*

The Alpha uses his lost balance as a bait for Zenon in which Zenon takes it.

With that strong blast of [Mana], reaches Zenon and directly attacked him that made him flew above the sky.

Shit! I let my guard down.

In the sky, while Zenon finally reaches his peak, he's starting to fall down but right after he can gain his balance, the Alpha is right above him and smashed him with his two fist to the ground that made him crashed.

*BOOOOM. Crash*

Zenon attained some bruises from the attack that him feel pain all over his body. But he neglected that and immediately look above after he sense the alpha is getting closer to him.

Shoot!

He instantly leaped and successfully evaded the attack. But the Alpha landes in the ground as it looks at Zenon with a deadly gaze.

"I think I miscalculated something. I thought I can kill you without using my powers but I'm wrong."

[Zenon-Art Prism Sword Style — First Style: Globe of the Blue Sky]

Right after he activated his power, the sword slowly disappear like dust in the wind. Then all of a sudden, with the fast movements of the Alpha, it suddenly appeared like it teleported in front of Zenon staring right at him.

With his instinct as an animal, he's prey is right infront of him si he inevitably raises his both arms and swings it like playing a cymbals aiming for Zenon's head but—

"Hmmm... I'll finish this quickly."

[Trick: Accelerate]

He uses two blue orbs to attack both arms of the alpha that completely amputates it like nothing where the blue orbs move so fast.

The Alpha growls in pain that made him jump backwards to avoid Zenon. His blood is spilling from both arms while he look at Zenon again but he saw nothing. As he tries to look for hia prey, he senses a touch in his abdomen but what he felt there isn't simple.

Fear is slowly crawling through his body as he can imagine a huge beast right staring at him with those gigantic red eyes inside of a mouth of countless spikes forming like a snake.

And in that moment, the reality turns upside down, the predator whose every creatures feared the most... turns into a prey.

"I'll end this quick as possible so you won't feel any pain."

[Trick: Exploding Body]

The whole body of the alpha is inside of the huge blue orb that instantly exploded that makes the body of the alpha left nothing but splatter of blood.

Right after he did that, he sense that all baboons are circling around him. So he chooses to eliminate them at the same time.

"It's time to clean this mess."

Zenon uses an orb for him to jump at a high altitude while looking down at the forest as his hair are dancing with the breeze of the wind.

[Trick: Exploding Festival]

The huge orbs scattered and divided into small ones that Zenon uses to drop at the ground and created numerous explosion like a falling missile on the ground that inevitably killed the remaining baboons.

*Sigh*

"The real fight isn't over but I used so much power... I'm really an idiot. Anyways, there's something keeping an eye on me since the game started. Is that you, right?" Zenon said while his eyes is like an eagle looking at somewhere in the forest.

Then in the open space, there's a guy sitting on the mountain of corpse while playing in something and making it like a ball of soccer abd it turns out it's the head of Toop with no life.

"He's a sharp one."
