It's Big!

"Miss, Sakura please take a seat." The bald man said with a grin on his face.

Sakura sat on the brown sofa. She inspected the room while sitting. It looked to be an old classy room. Most of the wooden furniture had a fine shiny touch to it. The room had several decorations which looked expensive. Sakura had come here because she heard this person was interested in selling a property in the short term. Sakura who was interested decided to pay this guy a visit. She wasn't really concerned about money. She could make money out of nowhere, anyway.

In fact, it would cost her less to buy a house with few platinum coins rather than staying in an inn with several silver coins.

'Is it even legal for me to create money?'

< You are actually helping this country By adding to their money circulation, master. >

'Dunno how that works. But I guess I am a national hero, then.'

< Yes, you are master. >

"So, Miss Sakura here seems to be interested in my property." The bald man said with a grin on his face. His smile reminded Sakura of those shitty businessmen from her previous world.

"yes, I was looking for a property to buy on short-term notice." Sakura tried to sound as professional as possible.

"Of course miss, we have a lot of land here. But since we were in need of money, our company decided to sell the land here and move to a new location."

< He's lying. he probably wants to sell you the land for the civil unrest and move away from this land to avoid damages to his business. >

'Yeah, I can see that.'

However, Sakura didn't mind that. After all, she was probably buying this land to stay there for a few days.

"I see, so can we please move on to the property. I have more work to do." Sakura said with clear annoyance on her face. She wasn't busy but this bald man's grin just made her annoyed.

"Sure, sure. miss, I will get right to it, then." the man pulled out several papers and maps and placed them one by one on the table.

The property was a mansion near the middle of the city. it wasn't as big as Fredric's mansion but it was still bigger than normal. The reason Sakura chose this property was that it had a huge garden and it was a property that cost platinum coins. Meaning she won't have to create hundreds of gold coins. And just create a few platinum coins. It was the most EP-efficient way.

Sakura looked through the maps of the house she didn't have any idea about any of the papers and documents anyway.

Astra advised her on the documents and agreements. Calling out to her if there were any problems with the papers.

In a certain part lord's mansion, the military department residence was situated. It was used to organize troops and prepare for upcoming wars. This particular section was run by the knight's captain Aka Victor.

He was the main person maintaining and disciplining the army. Although the head butler was also responsible for looking over the army.

However, due to recent changes, the new head butler's influence wasn't as great as the knight's captain. So, when the knight's captain discussed a coup date with the higher officials of the army he could literally throw his weight around.

The knight captain didn't have to do that much though. It seems Fredric was just that much bad at governing. The only person who was holding the entire thing together was the previous head butler. And with his death things were looking bad for Fredric.

The knight captain used the territory's current state as an excuse to incite the higher officials of the army to rebel. The knights in general are loyal to their higher officials rather than their lords.

They have a certain kinship in them. A discipline that runs across the entire army. So, when you can convince the higher-ups of something, it will be followed to the bottom layer of troops.

The knight's captain had successfully convinced most of the commanders thus none of them could object.

With this, the knight's captain had broken the line. there was no going back.

'My glory will spread through the land of this country and the whole world.' He thought.

he didn't realize it but his judgment was being clouded by greed. which could technically cost him everything. but he was the greatest revolutionary knight. after he takes over the land who would oppose him? he had strength and support. while his enemy Fredric had none.

"Whoa! That's bigger than I expected!" Sakura was amazed at how big it was.

The house was literally as big as her school in her previous life. it had a big garden even though this mansion was in the central part of the city in the middle of the city. Contradictory to what she had thought buying property in this world was easy. Like really really easy, You just sign some magical documents, and voila you have a house.

"I am coming in," Sakura said as she entered through the door. The house was more lavish on the inside than on the outside.

"Wow!" Sakura was amazed at how big the main hall of the house was.

This was now her house that she bought with only 5 platinum coins. Plus 1 platinum coin for all the furniture.

Yes, she got lucky. The seller was in a hurry to sell the property due to the civil unrest in the city. Which is how she got the whole house for dirt cheap.

EP wise this just cost her a little more than staying at an inn.

'The system is a cheat.'

< It's just humans value objects based on rarity while the system values objects by mass and complexity. >

"Yeah, yeah. I know. but still, come on, you gotta accept that the system is a cheat money maker."

Sakura conversed with Astra as she walked through the massive house.

The house had a certain sweet smell all around it. maybe perfume. It might have been left by the previous owner. Upon entering the house was the main hall decorated with lavish carpets and chandeliers. The hall was big. Two grandiose stairs climbed up to the second floor.

On the second floor, rooms were lining up in the hallway.

Sakura looked through the rooms one by one. There was no word with which she could describe the lavishness of the house.

It might have been comparable to Fredric's mansion in some aspects.

After checking all the rooms and getting an idea of the whole house Sakura found a random bedroom and plopped onto the bed. It wasn't evening yet but she felt like taking a nap.

She had been walking around since morning not to mention the bed was too soft to ignore.

However, as she was about to fall asleep a thought came to her mind.

'Hm? I didn't think about the security of such a big place. What if there are thieves in the middle of the night. I can't just guard the whole place on my own.'

< I can help you with that, master. >

"But what about your sleep."

< I don't sleep, master. >

"Wait you don't?" Sakura was amazed. Even with her high state, she feels tired mentally.

< You won't need to sleep as well if your body didn't require you to do so, master. >

"That so?"

Sakura felt a little interested in the topic as she hadn't thought about it for a while. She wasn't a human. She was a spirit now. But Until now she has been doing things the human way. What was even the difference between a human and a spirit?

< Your human needs such as eating and sleeping as well as your appearance come from your body. And your body comes from the skill " Physical Materialization". >

"So, you mean to say I am not meant to look like a human?"

< Yes, your true form is more akin to the form you took during that time you got summoned. >

Sakura thought back. She was indeed summoned during her hibernation. At that time she looked like a pink transparent humanoid figure.

Sakura had mixed feelings about that appearance. It reminded her that she wasn't human anymore. Losing one's humanity felt weird.

But then again she already had blood on her hands. So, this didn't bother her. much.

"Come to think of it..." A thought came to her mind. "What would have happened if I didn't have the physical materialization skill." She asked curious.

< You would have slept until you had evolved further. Once you were mature enough and had a skill to materialize you would become conscious. >

Again something that she felt mixed emotions towards. Was it just a random coincidence she had this skill?

Sakura shook her head and stopped thinking about it. This whole thing would give her an existential crisis.

She gave Astra the permission to look after the house and also asked her to not push it too much. Sakura would be staying in this house for one or two days anyway. Maybe next year she will come again. But that's uncertain.

With that Sakura fell asleep hugging the soft hug pillow. She had to admit it. this bed was truly top-notch.
