Knotted strings
Ben, a pariah at most found himself captivated by a person he’d least expect he’d interact with. His first crush and first pounding heartbeat all belonging to this person, even his first kiss—technically—but unfortunately, this person already had a special someone in his heart. He thought to keep his feelings to himself, after all he really didn’t expect any equivalent reciprocation considering this other man was a hetero, and he was too—or so he thought he was at least.
This thought stuck to him for a while until his special someone had a quarrel with his girlfriend and broke up. Will he pursue? But at what cost? Ben didn’t like liabilities, but love in its truest form held no restraints what so ever. You can’t repress, control, no authority is bounded to it, you can only compromise.
This is about youth love, Ben’s in particular, and his journey through friendship, discovering himself, and many self-driven conflict in its product.
But of course— don’t treat this as too serious, after all, it is an early love of a youth. Both crude, pure, and most of the time unreliable.
