We're in a theme park, it was newly built I presume since I've just heard of it in the news but what's more surprising is the people inside it.

There's A'liu, Nai Nai, my colleagues and the students I'm teaching to, even Zhu Rong Heng.

Moreover, An Yi Wei is also here.

"Ma what- what's up with... this?" I am stunned by everything, it wasn't the first time that I've seen and went to a theme park but it's absolutely shocking to see the people in here.

"Happy birthday Caia!" A'liu ran to my direction making me stumble, thankfully, I was held by my father.

"Happy birthday teacher Caia!" The kids greeted me in unison and even brought a variety of flowers, each of them holding a single stem.

"Happy birthday" I smiled at my colleagues and accepted the gift they have to me.

Zhu Rong Heng on the other hand brought a small box and handed it to me before saying his greetings. Then he went to A'liu's side and it was now Nai Nai's turn.

She was in her wheel chair and was being pushed by An Yi Wei, his face is just not for the occasion.

"Caia, my dear, happy birthday!" I scoot down and embraced her, the familiar fragrance of hers that I love smelling whenever I'm in a mess.

I look up and saw An Yi Wei, his eyes were still apathetic but he handed me a gift and softly say. "Happy birthday, Caia Xiu"

It was formal, it's as if the two of us were just acquaintances, nothing that resembles a normal interaction of a husband and wife.

"Thank you" I gently say, slid the stray hairs behind my ear and 'shyly' avoid his eyes.

I don't want my parents to know that our relationship isn't that of a typical married couple besides I don't want to spoil their fun today.

"Ma, pa, thank you"

It was true, the feeling of emptiness suddenly disappeared and a hint of glee can be traced in my tone. It's not easy for me to feel this carefree, it's been a long time since I've felt this way.

To be shock by their surprise since I've literally memorized everything that's about to happen, to feel gratified at their efforts and to actually feel that maybe... it's great to live.

"Okay, let's end this, once I cry it'll never stop so let's have fun now!" My mother yelled making the rest of the people laugh at her.

My father held my left hand and my mother on the right then we were off.

It feels like I'm a child again, you know those moments where you can freely act like a child knowing that it's your special day and their attention is solely on you?

That's what I'm currently feeling.

"Do I look pretty?" A'liu asked Zhu Rong Heng wearing a bunny hairband.

"You do" instead of blushing like every normal girlfriend, A'liu boastfully agreed to his words.

"Of course! I'm the most prettiest woman you'll ever meet! Right Caia?" A'liu held my hand, her eyes remind me of those cute puppies.

"Yep, naturally!" The two of us giggled and at the corner of my eye, I saw An Yi Wei.

Nai Nai already left since it's already her nap time and the fact that her body couldn't keep up with the rest of the people here.

The children in my class were playing on their own and my parents, well, their having a date. Let's just leave it that way, I mean it must have been so long since they had an actual date.

The moment An Yi Wei came near to us, A'liu bared her fangs and watched him with hawk like eyes.

"May I have a moment with my wife?"

A'liu was about to rebuff him when I patted her arm gently. She looked at me in confusion but I just smiled at her.

"It's her birthday" she said as if she was warning him that he shouldn't anger me.

He just glanced at her before turning his eyes on me. I nodded at him and for the last time, waved back at A'liu before seeing her taken by Zhu Rong Heng.
