Recreating Civilisation with an Abnormal System

A former Hero swept up in the troubles of a Divine Entity that wishes to save its creations from the destruction of the void, leading the former Hero to return back home to Earth with an abnormal System. Whereas the typical Systems focused on empowering the Host with abilities and skills that lead them towards immortality or more, the System bound to the MC rather wishes for him to develop others besides itself. Rather than fighting against monsters in a dungeon to Level Up, the former Hero would need to generate enough sales from the new products he would create. The former Hero would be able to employ various species as he expanded his influence in another world similar to an apocalyptic Earth Using the help of fantasy races and species, the former Hero needed to both develop a business empire that spanned the planet, Earth, while also using knowledge to help further the evolution of the many races serving the MC. Yet things aren't as simple as creating a brand and distributing finished products…

"HAHAHA!

THIS IS AMAZING!"

Dante watched Thaestus jumping around like a maniac after bringing him over to Earth with four of the Skeleton Labourers since there was a limit on the number of Monsters that could be on Earth.

Those left behind on Terronious were being managed by the Lich Manager, Xarl, whose went through a shocking transformation that worried Dante.

When Xarl went through his evolution, a burst of Undead Energy from its skeleton body matched the level of power certain monsters Dante had come across on Agearen, the other world he was dragged to and made a Hero.

Worried for a moment, Dante thought Xarl might attack him, but instead the evolved monster completely stunned the former Hero.

Xarl had a large cape fluttering from its back which instantly wrapped around the skeleton body into a formal suit.

The glasses had also cleared up with the lenses cleared of all cracks and the frame changing from twisted metal to bone.

All of the Skeleton Labourers seemed to find the Lich Manager easier to communicate with than the Goblins, regardless of their evolutionary transformation.

When Dante saw the Skeleton Labourers running over to the Lich, he felt they might be complaining about being worked too hard, but Xarl assured him they weren't saying such things and that everything would be fine with him around.

Feeling assured by Xarl, Dante stored 4 Skeleton Labourers and Thaestus in the Monster Tab before hoping over to Earth.

Once he resummoned them on Earth within the shed where all the new tools and equipment were stored, Thaestus lost himself examining everything foreign to him, while the Skeleton Labourers scratched their head in confusion and looked at Dante for help.

"Ahh… you guys get to work around the farm.

The glasshouses still need some fixing up before we can start using them.

After that, take the plants and seeds to be planted, but make sure not to put the trees or those which will sprout out a fruit tree within the glasshouse.

Use the open field."

The Skeleton all nodded and started working without having to be told twice, which made Dante feel a little weird since he couldn't understand how two Level Ups had changed the behaviour of the Skeleton Labourers to such a degree that they had some individuality.

Watching them open the door of the shed casually before taking the necessary materials away to do the work, Dante felt a little annoyed the System didn't allow for him to bring over more Skeleton Labourers.

After calming Thaestus down enough so he could focus, Dante showed him around the farmland, including the connection for the watermain leading onto the farm as well as the electrical lines.

Because of the location of the farm, there was a steel fence that extended itself around the entire property which had plastic tarp covering the sides so no one could look into the property.

This was done by the previous leasers for some reason, however Dantes dad assumed they wanted to plant some cannabis, so they'd set up the fence and placed the tarps on the sides.

Thaestus saw the fences and thought about making some changes, but Dante told him to be aware that people here on Earth would freak out if they saw him.

Even though he was warned, Thaestus seemed to already have some plans in mind, with some alterations made to deal with the problem Dante told him about.

After showing Thaestus around the farm, Dante went over to the Ute and handed him one of his older iPhones, a 5 series, and showed Thaestus how to use it in case of an emergency when he wasn't around to call him.

Dante also showed Thaestus how to access the internet with the sim in the phone registered on a business account by his mother, which added a little extra cost to his pre-existing phone plan.

.

Leaving the farm, Dante went over to the building in the suburb of Holden Hill which would be the site of the first store.

The drive was roughly an hour from the farm since Dante got stuck in the afternoon traffic with people heading home after work, but he didn't mind since he would only be at the building for a short time before heading home.

Dante planned to take some pictures of the place which he wanted to show Thaestus and get his opinion on the matter of fixing up the store premises.

After arriving at the site of the building, which was on the main road that went through the suburb, Dante noticed his fathers work van was parked at the back of the building.

He saw his dad walking out of the building and waving in his direction after Dante parked the Ute.

"Dad, I thought you were coming by around lunchtime.

Why are you still here?

Its nearly 4:30 in the afternoon." Dante grabbed a hold of the toolbox in his father's hand which appeared to be quite heavy for his old man to manage.

Jonathan couldn't help but smile at his sons' action and patted him on the back after handing him the toolbox, which seemed to be light as a feather in Dantes hands.

"There seemed to be more work that needed to be done around the building, so I've been at it since lunch.

By the way, did you eat your lunch that your mother packed?"

Dante chose to just nod since he didn't really get to enjoy the lunch but rather Thaestus and the Inferior Goblin that evolved into a High Goblin named Palimus.

When Dante showed them his lunch, the two devoured the food without leaving him anything but a few bits of bread.

Though Dante had to survive on some of the harvested fruits for lunch, he realised the goblins needed food.

Thankfully the crop amounts were increasing everyday and once the 60-acre farm on Earth was planted with crops and various plants, within a day or so, there would be more than enough food to feed the Goblins.

.

Jonathan gave Dante a tour of the building, which was roughly 400 square metres, excluding the carpark behind which also acted as the delivery drop off.

Because the building interior was separated into two main sections with one being the shop front and the other half for storage with a small office, Dante felt the building was more than enough space to get started.

Of course, he planned to bring Thaestus by and have him work on sprucing up the place, but there was still a large amount of work to be done on the farm first.

After looking around the building and planning out where certain walls needed to be built as well as the setup of shelves, both father and son locked up the building and left for home.

Dante decided to take a small rest for the evening and spend it with his parents rather than studying, however that wasn't the same case for the 5 people at the farm.

.

"Alright guys!

Let's move this cooling units underground and set them up.

Never would I have thought these machines would be easier to manage than Magic Circles."

Thaestus couldn't help but smile at the cooling units he'd improved after ripping them off the shipping containers which acted as cool rooms.

Playing around with the cooling machine, Thaestus figured out how to effectively reduce the amount of gas they would need to fan out cold air, but he'd also made some changes to the amount of electricity it would draw in.

Other design changes meant the machine was smaller but also quieter, meaning there wouldn't be senseless sound pollution in the surrounding area.

The Skeletons Labourers were told to bring over all sort of machines and equipment found around the farm, however by 2 in the morning of the following day, the task changed to renovating part of the farm.

All of the Skeletons barged through the task like it was nothing since their working speed and efficiency increased marginally after upgrading to Level 3.

Dante had only seen them harvesting back on Terronious and thought they were easily able to do the work of dozens of men, but if he was to see them now, he would have thought they were close to heavy duty earthmovers than people, especially with the speed they dug up the underground cooling room and workshop.

Even the fence around the property was improved to have sheets of metal covering the chain-link design, which all came from the few vehicles that were left to rust on the farm.

The only thing Thaestus hadn't touched yet was the old tractor, a Ford 4600 which needed some work to get it back to working condition, but Dante didn't have the money to call someone out to the farm yet.

Thaestus felt like ripping it apart but after noticing the immaculate condition of the tractor compared to everything else on the farm, Thaestus assumed there was some sentimental value to it, so he left it alone for now.

All he could do was wait until Dante arrived in the morning, so he left to get some rest in his underground workshop while the Skeleton Labourers worked on cleaning up the weeds around the farm, after which the Tree of Beginning would manage it on its own.

.

Dante spent the evening with his parents going out to the cinema, before coming home to talk about certain purchases that needed to be made for the farm and store.

Jonathan started searching for fridges to keep fresh produce nice and cool when displayed, while Katherine sorted out the legal paperwork and council approvals required for the building to ready for use.

There were a couple other things the parents started to organise without Dantes knowledge, but he wasn't too focused on that by the time he woke up in the morning.

He knew his parents would do everything possible to help him in his endeavours, so Dante let them do as they pleased, with his mind already focused on the string of messages from Thaestus he'd received overnight.

The first few messages were Thaestus learning how to text with some trial and error, but after he figured out how to use the phone, Thaestus sent plenty of texts about the work going on all night.

Thaestus messages only stopped around 3 in the morning, but Dante figured out that the High Goblin had sent near 100 messages since the time he'd gone to sleep.

After grabbing his lunch prepared by his mother, Dante grabbed some old pots and pans to take with him.

The night before, Dante told his mother to leave out any old pans she didn't want since he needed something at the farm in case, he ever felt hungry.

At first Katherine refused but once Jonathan got involved in the conversation between the mother and son pair, he convinced his wife to leave some of the older cooking equipment for Dante to take.

When he went by Anaconda a few days back, Dante picked up some equipment to help with cooking just in case he ever felt like cooking in the middle of nowhere while exploring Terronious.

Dantes mother on the other hand felt concerned and made her own plans to help her boy out on the farm, calling a gas service provider to set up a connection at the farm.

.

"What… the… hell… have… you… done…

You DAMN GOBLIN!!"

Dante couldn't help but lose his patience after noticing all the changes to the farm.

From the fence around the perimeter of the farm which appeared similar to medieval walls with a modern spin.

The height hadn't changed of the fence, but it could easily draw someone's attention from a distance.

After driving onto the farm, Dante could see the luscious plants all around him, from various fruits and vegetables to trees sprouting up, taking up all of the 60 acres of land.

It was obvious the Skeleton Labourers worked nonstop to transform the barren farm into its current glorious state, but it wasn't what made Dante scream his head off.

Rather when his eyes caught sight of the glasshouses and the shed, he wanted to know what the bloody monster was thinking last night.

Though the messages he received last night was a decent indicator of the energetic work ethic Thaestus had, the shed seemed to blow up in size, with the corrugated metal sheets used primarily for the roofing and part of the side walls, with treated timber being used to enclose the rest.

Rather than it being a shed, Dante thought felt it looked like a barn instead.

The glasshouses went through a similar transformation with the plastic tarps used on the fences being repurposed to patch up any holes and to extend some of the structures to cover a large span of area.

It all looked very clean and sleek, yet it wasn't the last of Thaestus changes since Dante knew about the underground storage room after being texted about it.

Before he found the entrance to the underground space, Thaestus voice caught Dantes attention.

"Hey Boss!

What ya think about the farm?" Thaestus walked out of the barn with his hands on his hips as he looked over at the red-faced Dante.

"You went…

Ahh fuck it… show me what you've done." Dante sighed as he signalled to the Skeleton Labourers to remove some of the items in the back of the Utes tray.

The pots and pans from home, including some cooking items like oil was stored in boxes that needed to be taken inside.

Leaving the skeletons to their task, Dante followed Thaestus inside of the Barn to see the rest of the changes throughout the large structure.

To one side there was a small cabin with all of the tools and equipment set up, including some living quarters.

Most of it was made out of wood which Thaestus repurposed from broken pallets found on the farm.

The high arched room meant the inside of the barn wouldn't heat up too much, but it also meant smaller trucks could enter without any issue.

There was enough space to set up a few automated sorting and packaging systems if needed but with the Skeleton Labourers around, Dante thought about setting something else up in the space instead.

In the corner by the left far side, Dante noticed some doors leading underground, similar to the stairs network on Terronious.

.

"Thaestus…"

"Yes Boss…?"

"What did you build underground?

I remember clearly the floor of the shed was cemented and now… the barns floor is compacted dirt that feels harder than stone.

Tell me everything you've done overnight…" Dante massaged the sides of his head while noticing the cheeky grin on Thaestus smile.

Leading Dante towards the corner of the barn where his underground rooms network began, Thaestus started talking about the various upgrades he'd made overnight.

"Much like what I've done back on Terronious, I built some deep underground storage cool rooms using the containers to help solidify the walls and ceiling, so the ground above won't come collapsing down.

I've also repurposed the cooling machines to be more powerful and efficient after some meddling with their construction.

The gas used for the cooling machines has been set up above ground, for easy access when it will need refilling, but once the Tree of Beginnings improves enough, we won't need to use refrigerant gas anymore.

Other than that, I've added my own workshop with much more space than what I had on Terronious, but I didn't have enough materials to make my own set of tools and equipment so I'm using the items already stored upstairs."

Thaestus liked the new tools Dante had bought and left in the shed, which were extensively used all night long, but there were certain pieces of equipment he wanted to make, just the lacking materials stopped him from creating them.

.

"Your saying… you want to build a foundry underground at some point?"

Dante couldn't help but scratch his head, trying to figure out how to answer the High Goblin absurd development plan.

"Well yes Boss, however my research last night found its too expensive to purchase the ores on Earth, so I think we'll be better off if I make it over on Terronious.

There is endless number of free resources scattered all over the place, and with the Skeletons able to help out nonstop, it'll be much easier for me to create whatever I need to."

Thaestus finished showing Dante the underground workshop where he set up some bedrooms for himself and the other Monsters who would eventually come over to Earth.

Dante agreed with Thaestus, understanding the cost would be astronomical if he tried to buy certain materials on Earth, especially with the amount of funds he currently had.

While the two discussed the future of the farmland, sending out the Skeletons to harvest, and discussing the Foundation Bases development, unaware Dantes vague words created some dangerous thoughts in Xarls mind, who went on to influence Palimus.

.

"Alright… we need to start moving all of this to the Hub and set it up before our Master returns." Xarl croaky voice reached the ears of Palimus, the Inferior Goblin, and the many Skeleton Labourers, who raced into the huge property with several large factories spread out on the land.

"I don't think there is enough space within the Hub to move all of the machinery and resources over.

We'll need to either take up land already occupied by the plants or set up everything on the border of the Foundation Base." Palimus replied after making some mental calculations about the space needed to build everything back at the Hub.

The High Goblin Craftsman and Lich Manager walked onto the property, watching the Skeleton Labourers racing around with the Inferior Goblin helping them out with disassembling particular parts and machines to its best ability.

"Don't worry Palimus, I have an idea that should work out just find…" Xarls didn't bother to fill Palimus in on the plan and sent him to help the rest with the work before disappearing deeper into onto the property.

When the former Wight Supervisor went out earlier to level up, Xarl came across the huge property and found an abundance of resources however majority of it was sealed deep below the surface.

Large, sealed doors kept everything secured within a section of the property that led underground.

Xarl figured the set up was done to ensure resources could be delivered directly underground before being distributed as needed.

He also sensed there were a large number of Undead stuck underground because of his affinity with the Undead, which was the main reason for Xarls plans to get underground.

From what he could sense, the number of Undead undergrounds would be plenty to upgrade either the Tree of Beginnings or the Hub.

Standing before the large steel doors that were dozens of metres wide and high, Xarl fixed up his glasses before generating a spool of dense energy within his hands before surging it towards the dead centre of the doors in an effort to pry them open.

"All… for… our… Master…" Xarl roared as the creaking sound of metal being twisted echoed across the property, alerting the Skeletons and goblins.

Palimus looked over in the direction of where the sound was coming from, thinking, 'What the hell is that damn Lich up to?'
