Sleepless night

The night was calm and silent, only a slight breeze rustling the leaves of the trees. Lying on my bed, I stared at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep. The sudden tinkling of small pebbles hitting my window startled me. Intrigued, I got up and approached the window. Pulling back the curtain, I discovered Koen, standing below, his hands in his pockets, his face lit by a street lamp.

I unlocked the window and opened it slowly, careful not to make any noise so as not to wake my manager and his wife.

-What are you doing here at this hour?, I whispered

Koen shrugged, still with his mischievous smile.

-I'll take you to a nightclub

The idea of going out at such a late hour seemed really exciting to me. I knew I should be reasonable, but the temptation to break the routine and follow Koen was too strong.

-Wait, I'm going down, I said with my heart racing.

I closed the window and quickly put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. After checking to make sure everyone was sound asleep, I tiptoed down the stairs and out the back door. Koen was waiting for me, leaning against the wall of the house, looking relaxed.

-Ready?, he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement

-I don't really know…, I replied, grimacing.

-What is it that you don't like nightclubs?, he asked me worriedly

-No, it's just that I've never been there, I replied.

He looked me straight in the eyes before bursting out laughing.

-Stop making fun of yourself, I muttered, blushing embarrassedly.

I hid my face in my hands noticing him continuing to make fun of me. He gently took my hands that were blocking my face to look me straight in the eyes.

-So do you want to try it?, he asked me, I promise you won't regret it

-They're not going to recognize us? I asked him a little worried

-Don't worry, it's a special nightclub, he reassured me, only the wealthiest have access to it.

Before I even thought about it a question came out of my mouth.

-Why didn't you tell me you were such a famous CEO?

He looked at me in surprise before smiling at me.

-I thought it wasn't the right time since we only knew each other for a short time

-That was a stupid question

-No, he said to me, you can ask me as many questions as you want

-Okay, let's go, I said to him, blushing after his comment.

-Are you ready now?, he asked me

-Yes I replied, unable to suppress a smile

We headed towards his car, parked a little further away. Along the way, Koen told me anecdotes about previous evenings and the atmosphere of the club where he planned to take me. Each word aroused my curiosity and increased my impatience.

Within minutes we were on the road, the low music echoing through the car. The city seemed different at night, almost mystical, with its streetlight-lit streets and dancing shadows. We quickly arrived at the nightclub, a building discreetly hidden in a busy alley.

Inside, electro music was pulsing, and strobe lights created an electric atmosphere. The air was saturated with scents and the energy of the crowd swaying to the beat of the bass. Koen guided me through the mass of dancers to a bar where he ordered drinks.

-At our party!, he shouted to be heard above the noise, raising his glass.

I toasted with him, carried away by the enthusiasm of the moment. We spent the next few hours telling stories, laughing and enjoying this nocturnal freedom. Koen, true to form, made sure I had fun, and for the first time in a long time, I felt alive, away from everyday worries.

-Do you want to go dancing?, he suddenly asked me.

-Why do you want to dance?, I asked him

-It's the only way that allows me to stick to you, whispered in my ear, so up for it?

-I didn't know you loved me so much, I whispered in his ear in a mischievous tone, let's go dancing

The music immediately enveloped us, its powerful bass resonating throughout my body. The lights flashed in time with the beats, sending the room into a hypnotic frenzy. Koen grabbed my hand and led me onto the dance floor, a huge space where an elegantly dressed crowd moved rhythmically, lost in the music.

Music pulsed around us, a continuous wave of sound and light enveloping us. Koen and I were in the thick of the dance floor, our bodies moving to the hypnotic rhythm of the deep bass. From the start, there was something electric in the air, a palpable tension that grew stronger with each note.

Koen moved closer to me, his intense gaze locked on mine. He sketched a smile which seemed to promise something I had never known before. His natural confidence was contagious, and I let myself be carried away, ready to lose myself in this moment.

Our bodies began to dance in perfect harmony. The music was our guide, and Koen's every move seemed designed to bring me even closer to him. He placed a hand on my hip, his fingers brushing my skin through the fabric of my shirt, sending shivers down my spine. We swayed, our bodies brushing against each other, searching for each other, finding each other.

Prepare yourself because things have only just begin..
