Chapter 155: Maritime Battlefield

The alley on their right led to the other two buildings, they were just as tall but didn't have the same size, they shifted themselves on to other buildings as the tide came.

The smaller buildings only allowed few monsters to swim through them at a time without breaking them.

They would move back if some Warrior level creaturer broke the building later. Only Cao Guang and Gao Xuan stood on the large building with Du Ling and Jiang Shaojun.

Some minions had already swam through the building and gotten on the roof by the time they had spilt, they were simple Black Hook Sea monsters or Viscera Hunters lite as Cao Guang called them.

Cao dealt with the first wave of Minions with his Fire spells, yes they were weaker in presence of water and because the Little Flame Belle wasn't present, because of that his Lightning element became even more indispensable.

His Army of Wolves weren't yet ready and all he could summon were a group of Armoured Rhinos and stuff. Stronger beasts like Ice mammoths were too far away in the Summoning plane, he couldn't reach those areas with his cultivation.

This was another reason why he preferred to have an army of wolves form around with Fenrir as it's core, they could be summouned at all times and needed no introduction under Fenrir's training.

But such a project needed time, Summoning element might be strong but it also needed a lot of time and effort to be outstanding. As for Advanced Space spell, even if Little Tora pendant had reached the peak of Star Galaxy grade after completely digesting the Eternal Lotus it had only been five days since he broke through.

I need to save my Lightning Galaxy's energy, it needs to be available all the time.

After the Black Hook Sea monsters were dealt with Cao Guang took a moment to check every other team in the same zone as them, he reckoned there were atleast six teams in that single zone, they were all responsible for different area.

He kept an eye on his teammates, Song Xia, Zhong Yuan and Zhao Jing were on one building and Mu Yinfeng, Li Kai, Guan Chen and Zu Yuanjun were at the front building.

They were using all sorts of strategies to contain the beasts before killing them, Mu Yinfeng and Zhong Yuan were able to contain the Black Hook Sea Monsters with their Ice and Plant elements.

Cao Guang simply let his magic out while Gao Xuan focused on protecting him. After the Black Hook Sea Monsters, Jagged Paw Green beast a d Scarlet soaring demons made a charge over the small dam.

The team was under serious pressure handling these beasts as Scarlet Soaring Demons were all at the Warrior level while the Jagged Paw Green demons had great numbers.

Gao Xuan temporarily made a bridge between the two buildings and let the seven of them become a single team to cope with the sheer number of monsters.

Only Zhao Jing, Mu Yinfeng and Song Xia could keep up efficient killing rates and the rest were forced to take passiver approaches.

Cao Guang's Fire Galaxy was practically half depleted and the tide had occured for only about twenty minutes, he was dealing with a great number of minions and Warriors.

" Li Kai on you left dodge now" Song Xia gave out her warning.

The man was barely able to dodge from a White Sobbing Demon, Song Xia had listened to the crying voice of the demon for a while and responded when the creature came close to the team for an ambush. She was appalled to see Li Kai not realising there was a Warrior level beast so close to him.

Death Song Bow

Zhao Jing cooperated with the captain and released a Lightning Strike to paralyse the demon for a short while, it wasn't like fifth tier intermediate spell needed a back in destructive capacity.

" A larger monster is charging in with the Scarlet Soaring Demons, the team infront of us will get ambushed" Song Xia said our loud to Cao Guang.

" What's it's level".

If it was above a Standard Commander forget it, even he would just die going out like this, not having the Flame Belle would sharpen him alright but he wouldn't have the guts to challenge a creature three levels above his, he could kill Semi Commanders, contain Lesser Commanders and survive against Standard ones.

He didn't want to be 'sea food'.
