Chapter 140: Which nest to eliminate

The group met back at the city again and discussed their two options both were related to Sea Monsters and it seemed like the advisors picked the team to help them understand more stuff about sea battles before getting to Tokyo.

The first option was dealing with Sea Monkeys one of the most populous and annoying Sea Creatures. Only amphibious Sea Monsters lived close to land, others preferred to stay far away in the deep sea region or generally stayed underwater.

Sea Monkeys were amphibians, had large population and were cowardly they ran away when they sensed presence of any mages no matter how weak. There was a group of Sea Monkeys of the coast in an island nearby.

They made regular visits to land like some kind of tourists and were a constant menace, attacking tourists on beach, stealing food and damaging we'll anything they could find. But they generally did nothing to aggravate the everyone above a certain level. They had a strong sense of self preservation for minions.

The second group was a recent nest of Murkwater Frog specie that moved to an island in the Min Jian river. The island was a commercial asset of Chen family.

They grew herbs and valuable medicine that would only grow in a certain environment there, the recent arrival of these frogs had disturbed their herb collection.

So far the Frogs hadn't killed anyone, but something was imminent at this rate. They ate all the valuable medicine and one of them progressed to the Commander rank supposedly, making it harder to kill them. A Hunter squad they hired botched the job in the process and the Chens were disatisfied at the pace at which the authorities were handling the job and were on the verge of pushing for military intervention.

But the problem was that military intervention also meant loosing certain resources, they were being indecisive about the matter.

" The matter is obvious, enemies of Chen family paid of the Hunters and the authorities to either screw up or be incredibly passive, it's a bold move" Zhao Jing commented after the team decided to leave the Sea Monkeys alone.

Even if they only held a single island, it was bound to have more than ten thousand of those cretins.

" It's a move that strenghthenes monsters and weakenes humans" said Cao Guang hoping to supress any intent of replication among these young masters.

Idiots didn't realise what they were doing in name of profits. No it's not that they didn't realise they didn't care.

"Can the Chens give us a boat and can we defeat the Commander" Jiang Shaojun asked.

" Of course we can defeat a bunch of frogs, even if the Commander isn't defeated instantly we can gang up on it after dealing the Minions and Warriors" Guan Chen spoke out a gave Cao Guang a look with his eyes.

He didn't believe Cao Guang had the strength to kill a Semi Commander alone.

" The water is advantageous for them, we need to have the fight inwards and not let them get close to the water" Gao Xuan spoke realising what was on Song Xia's mind.

" That's not a problem, if some of you can guard me I can freeze the nearby water, just don't use another Domain near me". Mu Yinfeng spoke up after realising her time to shine was here.

"Another? Got it" Li Kai was really motivated after getting a feasible plan.

The group made plans to deal with Murkwater Frogs and made their way to the Chen family house. They needed to negotiate a deal and borrow a boat. Cao Guang didn't follow them for trip and scouted the island with Mu Yinfeng and Zhao Jing.

The island was the size of a small airport, it had some vegetation towards the centre, trails of mud could be seen clearly even from a distance. The Murkwater Frogs were already trying to the island to a better habitat.

The evolved form of Murkwater Frogs were pretty much the same in the Warrior stage, they were just stronger and had better physical capabilities. However the commander rank was a different story as it was called a Murkwater Frog Commander, but it was capable of uprooting a giant building with it's water based attacks and was only the size of a large bus.

It had overcome the deficit of lacking speed at this level. It wasn't just a stationary canon, like it's Warrior form. In fact some Warriors were larger than it.

It's speed made it a difficult opponent for anyone that didn't have similar speed.
