Rebirth

I am an ordinary guy, I just graduated college and don't have the ambition to do anything except reading Manga and watch anime. My favorite anime was Naruto because of the awesome powers but especially because of the girls. One day, late at night I was going to get a midnight snack while crossing the street to go to the convenience store a drunk driver hit me and when I opened my eyes I was here, in Naruto!?

I didn't meet god or get any cheats and worse of all I'm an orphan. I don't have any clan or family to help me in my quest to rule this world where I could be somebody, unlike my past life. My name here is Kenji Fuji, I am currently 5 years old and I have luckily not been reincarnated into a girl body. I have about one year before I enter the academy.

[3 months later]

Before I enter the academy I have to get a strong physical body and maybe buy a chakra affinity paper. I also might need to make a couple of friends to accompany me on the journey to be the strongest ninja ever. I looked at the clock and it was already past 10 pm.

"I should go to sleep," I mumbled as I drifted into my sleep.

The next morning I woke up at 5 am and started my morning workout. I would run around the whole village 3 times before coming back to my room and start with more physical training with 10 sets of squats, 15 sets of push-ups, and finally 20 burpees. that may not seem a lot but for a 5-year-old body, I was exhausted. Since I couldn't get my chakra unlocked until the academy unless I found a shinobi that would do it for me I would have to focus on taijutsu for now. I searched the library for a taijutsu style to practice and there were multiple but I didn't know which to choose. There were three that caught my eye.

1. Lightning Style.

It is called the Lightning Style because of how fast you could attack your opponent, and also the destructive level of your attacks but it lacks defense. As your mastery of this taijutsu style increased there would be different variants of the style.

2. Fire Dance.

It was called the Fire dance because you would practically be dancing around the battlefield and dealing damage that was equivalent to being burnt with fire or a small explosion. It had both offense and defense but never excelled in one area.

3. Iron wall.

Just as the name suggests it had an almost unbreakable defense that was only a level behind the Hyugas Taijutsu Style. This Taijutsu lacked offensive power.

After looking at these Taijutsu styles I decided to practice two of them the lightning style and the Iron wall. Even though the fire dance had both it would be better to switch on and off of taijutsu styles while in a fight. Though learning two taijutsu styles would be incredibly hard I had nothing better to do.

For the next five months, I did nothing but wake up, train, eat, go to sleep, and repeat. I only had three more months until the academy started so for the next I wanted to explore the village hidden in the leaves. For the first couple of weeks, I did manual labor for some money. I now had about 1000 Ryo. The first shop I visited was Ichiraku ramen as anyone would. As expected the flavor was rich, vagrant, and delicious. Then I went to the weapon shop and saw tons of exotic weapons such as large fans and the weird thing that Hanzo uses.

As I exited the shop I bumped into a girl around my age, she had beautiful black hair, red eyes that looked like a blood moon, and a beautiful scent.

"Sorry," We both said.

"No, it's fine," We both said again.

After that, she gave a beautiful laugh. "Hi, my name is Murayama," she said.

"My name is Kenji," I said. "Are you going to go to the academy?"

"Yes, I am," She said "Are you?"

"Yes I am, see you around," I said with a smile then left.

I don't know what it was about me but my heart was racing the entire time I was in her presence she was simply beautiful. After a month of wandering around the village, I got back to my training. I had the basics of both the lightning and Iron wall style but nowhere near mastery. In naruto, they jump from rooftop to rooftop and jump through the trees. It isn't as easy as it seems and I fell down at least 100 times until I was finally able to jump with ease. I also learned how to perform front flips and backflips. Tomorrow was the day of the entrance exam into the academy.

At the entrance of the academy, I saw Murayama. She already had a group of admirers so I didn't bother going up to her. There were about 1000 kids participating in the entrance exam. The first part of the exam was a physical exam we had to run 15 laps around the academy and the top 500 would pass. I had no challenge and finished 15th the people who beat me were from various famous clans. The next test was the written exam which I'm pretty sure I aced because I am really 19 years old and it was simple math and geography.

After tallying up all the points I placed 10th in the whole academy. I was placed in the same class as Murayama as well as some other clan kids which probably means I'm in the elite class. After announcing the results the Third Hokage gave the Typical "will of fire" speech and even though he knew that most of it was made up he still felt moved. He met with his class instructor whose name was Senji, he unlocked my chakra there and I could finally start practicing with his chakra.

After moving out of the orphanage and moving into the bigger room I stared at the ceiling.

"Tomorrow is when we officially start training in the academy, this is just the beginning of my journey."
