Hulk-zuku!

Next, I returned to Nabu island and got back on track.

The good doctor had informed me that Nine would be arriving here today, around 5 pm in the evening.

And now, with the attack on the HPSC, no one would even hear about Nine's attack on Nabu.

Especially so, because I would stop him before he could do anything about his regrettable affliction.

As I returned to the town centre and got ready for a bath as Deku walked over sleepily, and began his own morning workout, with Uraraka ogling him from the kitchen, sipping on her morning coffee.

Get a room already, you dolts!

Exiting the bath, I put on my hero uniform sans the longcoat and restraining tape, and took a seat by the call desk, playing a mobile clicker game.

"No calls yet, eh, Haru-chan?" Deku asked.

"Nah. But then again, this is an idyllic small town paradise complete with a small woods and beach biome.

Not a lot of problems on the daily here." I said.

"Yeah! It'd be so nice to settle down as a hero here!" Uraraka added.

"Uh huh? I'd probably be bored out of my mind! Nothing exciting about it!" Mina whined.

"Yeah. Besides, heroes are needed more in the busier places. We can do more good in the cities." Sato replied.

"I suppose so." Deku said, pouring himself a bowl of cereal.

"Hhaaaygh! You guys are up so early!" Kaminari said, stretching as he came out of the bedroom.

"It's already 8 am. You're up late!" Iida said, exiting the bath.

"Iida, did you just come out of the womens bath?" I asked, pointing at the sign on the door.

"No, I came out of the ..." he turned to look at the sign behind him, before blushed a deep red and bowing furiously in apology.

"I'm so sorry! I was sleep and dull after the workout and didn't notice it. I'll never make that mistake again, I promise!" He exclaimed, nearly hitting his head on his knees.

"Yeah, we get it. It's fine." Uraraka said.

"But you can buy us juice from the vending machine outside if you want us to keep quiet about it!" Mina replied.

"Mina!" Uraraka protested.

"No. No. I'll get you some juice right away!" Iida said, and rushed out to the machine.

Suddenly, a phone began to ring.

Picking it up, I answered.

"Nabu island hero office! How may I help you?"

"I need some help building my shed, can you spare somebody. Two people should do." An old woman said on the other end.

"Sure. We'll be over right away!" I said.

Turning to Deku, I asked.

"Deku, you up for buildong a shed?"

"Sure. Just give me a minute. I'll change." He said, as he ran over tot he bedroom to get his hero uniform.

We spent the rest of the day over in a corner of the island helping an old widow rebuild her shed that had been downed by a recent storm.

As the sun came up on the horizon, we finished for the day and began our walk back tot he office, when all of a sudden, a huge torrent of water slashed across sky, lightning strikes coming down in a chorus of thundering destruction.

Storm clouds gathered upon the island blotting out the sun, announcing the arrival of Nine onto the island.

Heh, finally. I was almost tired of waiting.

I looked at Deku and he nodded back as we dashed over to the beach.

As soon as we arrived, the first thing that was apparent was the sheer destruction Nine had caused in the less than a minute it took for us toget there.

The sand on the beach was littered with a smattering of fulgurite, likely from the dozen or so lightning strikes he had felled on it.

"You'll stop right there, villain!" I said, binding him, as as he shot lasers out of his fucking eyes at me.

Laser eyes! I'm so getting that quirk!

Copying all his quirks, and freezing his head in place, I used the enchanted key to form an air barrier in front of his face, stopping any future pew pew from the eyes, even as Chimera leapt at me.

"Deku! Handle him, will you?" I requested.

"I'm on it, Haru-chan!" he replied with a smile, clashing against overgrown build-a-bear, throwing a punch at him.

Deku countered, matching the beastman blow for blow, as I stopped the other two in place, until with a thundering punch, Chimera sent Deku flying into the port authority, bringing down the building with him.

Well, Fuck! This guy was stronger than I thought.

All the better that I now have his quirk, then!

From the rubble, Deku emerged carrying the port officials.

He looked at the villains and back at the iniured citizens, and made a flash judgement.

The citizens lives were more important.

He leapt away to safety, getting them back to the townhall.

"Haru-chan! I'll take them to the townhall. Can you deal with the villains please?" he shouted.

"Sure." I replied, turning back to the crew.

I froze Chimera in place, when all of a sudden, I spotted a smirk on Nine's face.

Zapp!

A lightning strike hit me, point blank, turning the ground around me into molten glass.

"Fuck!"

I screamed, my nerves felt like there was lava flowing through them, burning with a searing pain, as my body was cooked alive from the inside out.

I fell to the ground, as auto-regen kicked in.

Instantly, I created barrier upon barrier around me, pushing Nine and his crew away, until I was hosted in a veritable air fortress.

If I wasn't holding back, I'd have killed these bastards right here, right now.

Unfortunately, there were too many witnesses and mind wiping them wouldn't be the optimal choice here.

After all, the police would no doubt conduct an investigation into the incident and I wasn't sure if the residents would give a coherent witness after a mind wipe.

I can't risk it. Not now, not here. Not when my plans are just months away from fruition.

Seeing their bindings break, Nine gestured the other to leave.

"Into the forest. we need to get to the boy before they call for reinforcements. Go, spread out." He said.

"What about him?" the woman asked.

"Leave him. He's not important.

Besides, he's out of commission. He won't be threat much longer." Nine answered.

"I still think we should deal with him here." Chimera replied.

"We can do that after we find the boy. Now go. We don't have time. Mummy, go to the market. Keeps the heroes busy, distracted.

Slice, deal with the citizens in residential zone. Attack that townhall we heard about.

Chimera, take the left, I'll take the right. Meet me at the hilltop playground, there." None ordered, before dashing away, as Slice and Mummy followed through on his orders.

Just as they disappeared into the forest, Chimera looked at me, and came over, attempting to land one last attack.

He reared back, pivoting on his tail, kicking the barriers, shattering them one by one.

Another punch, another kick, a tail swipe here and there, he made his way closer to me.

"Tch! Someone's got a death wish."

I used telekinesis and gave him a brain aneurysm, as he fell over onto the hot glassy sand.

Deku on the other hand, returned, having saved the citizens along the way.

"Haru-chan!" He cried, as guilt and rage appeared in his eyes.

He picked me up, as I shut down my auto-regen, lest Deku notice my injuries healing at a rapid pace.

I pretended to faint as he carried me back to the town centre office.

"Haru-chan, I- I'll make sure they pay for this. Just rest here and wait for me." Deku said, kissing my forehead.

What the fuck Deku? That's gay af!

Fucking wierdo!

Using my psychic scan, I checked the situation around the island as a furious Deku railed through the villains, and in a wholly uncharacteristic move, cracked Nine like a kitkat, full on Bane style, before grabbing hold of Slice's hair and ripping it off her head, shred by shred.

"Let her go, Midoriya-kun. She's surrendered!" Iida pleaded.

Deku turned to him, causing Iida to flinch back at his eyes, the rage overflowing into intimidation.

Looking at their visceral reaction, Deku looked back down at the clumps of hair in his hands, then back at them, before coming to his senses.

He stumbled in shock, leaning againsta nearby wall.

"Deku-kun? What happened?" Uraraka asked, coming close to him, as she began to comfort him.

"I-i-i-i....." Deku shook like a chihuahua, afraid of what he'd done.

"It's okay. Shush! it's okay. I'm sure you didn't mean to." Uraraka hugged him, patting his back.

Suddenly, he jolted, looking in the direction of the townhall.

"I need to go!" he cried, zipping past everyone, right back to me.

He knelt by the bedside, muttering in his characteristic stream of thought, still shaking.

Tears pooled in his eyes, as he reached out, carefully touching my severe tan, tracing the lightning scars running across my skin.

"I'm sorry, Haru-chan. Even though I promised, I still couldn't protect you!" he cried, his salty tears falling upon my burnt skin.

Fuck! This idiot!

What's he doing, literally salting my wounds!

Bastard, use your stupid konbu of a brain for once!

"If you've got time to cry, mind getting me some water and burn salve?" I teased.

"Haru-chan! You're awake!" He chirped.

"I won't be for long if you keep salting up my burns with your tears, dumbass. Now mind getting to it?" I asked.

"Yes! Of course! I'll be right back." He said, rushing out.

As the curtain of night fell upon the island, Momo helped restore the comms and we contacted the local police department for support in handling the capture.

That was when the news broke.

The HPSC had been shut down, and there was a nationwide free warrant for the arrest of Stain, and his followers, with a whopping 100 million bounty in the namesake's head.

And that's bingo!
